The Caterbus drove all over the state of Massachusetts for their next gig, which will happen in Revere Beach. Branch is checking on the schedule and the budget while Rose and the girls are sorting their swimwear and summer wear in their suitcases.

"What outfit will you wear in our latest gig?" Poppy asked.

"I'd be wearing my new mini shorts, boots, some summer accessories, and a crop top, but I dunno which one I bought from the shop that we went to and Branch told us not to spend too much." Rose sighed.

"Our pay is enough for all of us but we have to be careful how we spend our money." Branch said. "The next gig we are performing in is going to pay us a lot."

"Branch, when do we get our first designed costume that we can wear in our next gig?" Poppy asked. "Satin and Chenille are now designing the clothes we can wear for our gigs. It would need more cloth, more decorations, and much more."

"Poppy, we have to save money, we can't just buy something we can't afford." Branch nodded. "Once we become known, we will afford those but we would still stick with the budget."

The caterbus drove to Boston, where they stopped at a house. There, they were welcomed by a dark-skinned youth with a hoodie. He has purple, shaken hair and beard, wearing a dark grey hoodie, black pants and shades, a golden chain necklace with an "MC" circle plate, and orange sneakers.

"Oh Glitter! it's our old high school schoolmate, Marco Castillo." Guy Diamond said as he spotted him.

"Marco?" Rose asked them.

"He calls himself Master Controll because he is good at rapping compliments." Poppy said.

"He can pick up the slightest good trait and rap it back at the other person," Branch added.

"Wow." She gasped.

Branch, Rose, and Poppy got off the caterbus and greeted him.

"Hey Poppy!!" He called. "I missed you guys!

"Hola, Marco." Branch waved at him.

"MC, what are you doing here in Massachusetts?" Poppy asked him.

"I'm here for the surfing competition." He answered. 'What about you?"

"We're invited to perform there in Revere Beach." Branch answered. "The host of the competition wants us to perform at the beach party tonight."

"Wow, I can't wait to hear you guys play, Aspen told me that you won the contest back at home." Master blurted out. "And I can see you got a new lead singer with you."

"Helena is my name but my stage name is Rose." Rose introduced herself.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Rose." He said as he kissed her hand, which made Rose giggle. "Can I get a ride with you guys to the beach?"

"Sure." Poppy agreed.

"Okay, since you asked nicely," Branch added sarcastically.

The four went into the caterbus and drove through the city to MC's family home, where they will stay while the Caterbus gets another cleanup. His parents are so thrilled to have their son's schoolmates stay with them for the surfing competition.

"You all must be our son's schoolmates? It's so nice to see you all again." His father said.

"You're welcome, sir." Poppy answered.

"So, Rose, you were performing with them?" He asked.

"Yes sir, I'm the lead singer," Rose responded.

"Our son was watching your performance on social media and he suggested you all perform in the competition's beach party after the awarding ceremony." His mother said.

"Can we go around Revere Beach for a while?" MC asked his parents.

"Sure, but be careful because a shark is attacking there and many people are disappearing because of it." His father answered.

"Wait?! A shark in Revere Beach?" Branch gasped.

"SHARK!!!" Cooper and Biggie cried in fear.

"Don't tell me, there is a shark on the beach like in the movie, Jaws?" Poppy asked.

"Yeah, recently." A tall, muscular man nodded beside MC answered.

"I didn't believe it at first but Fernando here saw it with his own eyes," MC said.

"How did it happen?" Guy Diamond asked.

"While Fernando was surfing in Revere Beach, he saw the shark appearing from the water and he paddled away to safety." MC started.

"When I was able to reach dry land, the shark appeared to have limbs like a humanoid creature," Fernando added. "I saw the shark man-thing kidnap the surfers and it didn't attack the beachgoers."

"Hōseki! a shark that only takes surfers' lives and not swimmers." Satin gasped. "This is very suspicious."

"Pedra Preciosa! that sounds like a mystery to solve," Poppy smirked. "When we go there, we can find some clues too."

"But first, we need to change our outfits," Satin said.

"Agreed." Chenille nodded.

The Snack Pack, MC, and Fernando took the family van to Revere Beach and explored the place. They marveled at the sight of restaurants, high-rise housing units, restored pavilions, and a renovated boulevard. They saw lots of people swimming and having fun at the beach.

"Oh my Guh! Is this the place where the surfing competition will be held?" Smidge asked.

"Yeah, I won't be joining the competition, I am just here to support Fernando, who is here to join it," MC responded. "This contest will be safe, as long as he does his best and wins."

"Yeah cousin, I will do my best in the competition," Fernando said.

"You are the best surfer, you always have the best tricks when surfing." MC smiled.

"We will see about that!" A Hispanic surfer smirked.

"What makes you say that, Kevin?!" MC argued.

"I could do tricks on the board while riding the waves than him!!" He bragged.

"NO way, I am better than you!!" A surfer boasted.

"Nuh-uh, it's gonna be me!!!" A girl said arrogantly.

The arguing among the surfing competitors made Poppy so suspicious because one of them had a smirk on his face that sounded like trouble. She eyed a blonde man among the crowd and he passed near them. When the surfers left, she noticed something the man had dropped and picked it up. She retrieved a tiny piece of what looks like a house.

"Holy Guacamole! What is this piece doing here?" He wondered.

"Yeah, I've never seen that before." Poppy said

"Maybe one of those surfers dropped it." Branch said.

"Sprinkles and Cupcakes! Looks like one of those rival surfers is our first suspect." DJ Suki added.

"Let's look around and see if we can find more clues," Rose suggested.

"Sure, let's split up to see what we can find around the place." Branch suggested.

"Okay, I'll take Branch and Rose, Biggie, Mr. Dinkles and Cooper will be with DJ Suki, Smidge will go with Guy and Fuzzbert, and the twins will be with Master Controll and Fernando," Poppy said as she sorted the team into four groups for easy tracking.

Each team split up to cover the ground. Poppy, Branch, and Rose bumped to the lifeguard. He seems to be very worried about the competition.

"Hi sir, we're here to know about the shark that is lurking on this beach." Branch said.

"How did these attacks happen?" Poppy asked.

"The monster appeared when surfers come here to practice their skills but when it attacks, they vanish without a trace, leaving behind pieces that look like buildings." He answered.

"We found it too, on the beach itself," Poppy added.

"Has anyone besides the beachgoers ever come here for another reason?" Branch asked.

"Our boss was visited by Liam Abernathy, some man in a suit, who wanted to turn this place into a luxury resort and spa but he refused." Another lifeguard answered.

"But it might cause damage to the ecosystem instead." Rose gasped.

"Yeah, we are all fighting for this right together." She added. "Our boss refused it and he left the place abruptly."

"There are fourteen of the pieces we found and they are out there somewhere." Another lifeguard added.

Meanwhile, DJ Suki was driving the speed boat while Cooper and Biggie were shivering at the back. Biggie is petting Mr. Dinkles to be comfortable.

"Biggie, do you think it's safe to be in the boat to catch the fabled shark?" Cooper shivered.

"I don't know but I heard from Guy that in his home country, tigers can snatch people out of their boats as a surprise attack." Biggie chattered.

"Okay, you two cry about many things that scare you when we investigate around here," DJ complained.

"Yeah, because what if....." They were cut off when a scream was heard. Smidge drove the boat to the beach, where they finally saw the man shark-like creature appearing from the waves and attacking everybody.

"CRIPES!!" Cooper and Biggie cried as they ran for their lives. DJ and Mr. Dinkles followed suit with them as the shark chased the three of them. They entered a surf shop booth and tossed some swimming equipment at the shark-man to get away from it. The chase continued until bumped into the rocks and sank to the bottom of the sea.

"Guys, what happened here?" Poppy gasped when the rest of the team arrived late.

"The shark man attacked us!!!" Cooper cried.

"It was big, blue, creepy, and it had tons of teeth." Biggie shivered.

"Sharks always have lots of teeth, it regrows a new row of it every day." Branch frowned.

"Wait a minute, did you see this piece of rock here?" Poppy gasped. She went to the spot near the rocks, where another model that looks like a building was found.

"Hold your wings! Another clue." Rose was shocked.

"It's another model of a building." DJ Suki said. "I found six of them too."

"I found three," Guy added.

"The lifeguards' boss gave us the pieces they found and asked us to meet them at the beach cabin later," Branch added.

The Snack Pack showed all the miniature models of the pieces and they were shocked to see that it looks like a puzzle.

"Wow, these pieces look like puzzles," MC said.

"And look at that, we got fourteen of them," Fernando added.

"Now we have all of the pieces on the beach, we can assemble them," Poppy smirked.

In the beach cabin, the owner of the beach has called the snack pack to his place, alongside MC and Fernando. Poppy saw the same blonde man but in a photograph. He is wearing a business suit in the photo while carrying a suitcase with him.

"Kids, I couldn't believe you found all of them." He gasped.

"Do you know something suspicious about what these are?" Poppy asked.

"I don't know but the first time the shark attacked, we found them in the sand." He answered. "The shark-man must've dropped them during the attack, alongside some nuts and bolts."

"Wait a minute, sharks don't shed nuts and bolts." Rose gasped.

"Nuts and bolts, that is weird." Guy wondered.

"Enough of the thinking, we can set these pieces together and see what we got." Poppy said as the team started to assemble the pieces but not without trial and error. In their last attempt, they finally formed the pieces into a huge resort-like building.

"NO WAY!!!! They are trying to scare everybody here because they want to build a resort." The owner of the beach cried.

"Yeah, no wonder this is the purpose of this incident but who would do such thing?" Rose wondered.

Suddenly, they heard voices nearby. They sneaked outside the cabin and noticed another cabin nearby. When they came to it, they opened the door, revealing the kidnapped surfers inside.

"Hoseki!" Satin cried as they untied them.

"How did this happen?" Chenille asked them.

"It was horrible, the shark-man grabbed us and stuffed us inside the shed." A Hispanic surfer cried.

"He said something about turning the whole beach into a five-star resort and spa." A female surfer added.

"Oh no!!" Rose gasped. "He will kidnap all the surfers here to scare everybody so that his plan comes to fruition."

"Branch, what will we do?" DJ Suki asked him.

"Well, we can use the surfing competition as a trap for the shark but we will catch it on the act." Branch smirked.

"We can use the volleyball net as a slingshot." Poppy suggested. "And we need a bait for him."

"I can be the bait." Fernando suggested.

"But not us!" Biggie nodded in refusal.

"We need you and Cooper too so that we can catch it." Poppy said.

"Trust me, we can lure the shark man together but trust me, I'm a fast runner." Fernando assured them as the two gulped in fear.

The surfing competition is finally here as the remaining surfers are showing off their skills on the board while riding the waves. The Snack Pack is ready with their trap all set. Suddenly, the shark-man has finally resurfaced from the waters and attacked everybody. Biggie and Cooper screamed when it finally appeared and the two tried to run for their lives.

"CRIPES!!!" They screamed and the shark-man was about to attack Fernando when the two kicked dust at the creature, causing it to malfunction. The two continued to run as the shark-man was chasing them until they came to the right spot, where the other members are waiting with their trap.

"Ahora!!!" Branch yelled as the others used a volleyball net as a slingshot to catch the shark-man and it fell right into the rocks, where nuts and bolts went flying. The police arrived when it finally happened. Rose used a fishing line and hooked the shark man with it.

"Rose, where did you get the fishing pole?" DJ Suki asked her.
"I just got this from the surf shop," she answered. 

"Okay, let's see who is behind this shark business." Poppy smirked as she kicked the shark man's head off, revealing a blonde man with a gray streak.

"Liam Abernathy?!" They all cried.

"It doesn't make any sense." DJ Suki was confused.

'It really is coming together." Branch said. "Poppy notices Liam Abernathy among the crowd because he is carrying a suitcase that holds his pieces for the model of his resort and spa."

"But he kept on losing parts of it too because of the broken zipper on his suitcase." Poppy added. "And the suitcase itself is a perfect match in the photo I saw in the beach cabin."

"We also notice the suit is waterproof too because of the advanced tech used to make it but it keeps on losing nuts and bolts when it hits hard objects." DJ Suki continued. "And he was actually scaring everybody off Revere Beach so that he can build a five-star resort and spa here."

"I should've known it Liam!" An older man cried. "I planned to make this resort somewhere else but you wanted it here, and I can't believe that you're violating the law too!"

"Ugh! Foiled by those rainbow misfits!" Liam cried as the older man took him away to the limousine.

"Well, that is what you get for desiring for money." Rose gasped.

"And he got what he deserved."

"His dad is my friend and he told me to keep an eye on him when he comes to the beach." The beach owner said.

"Now that the jaws thing is over, let's celebrate with a song!" Poppy squealed.

"YEAH!!" They all cheered.

That night, the Snack Pack, wearing their stage outfits are performing a song onstage. Fernando, who won the surfing contest is watching the band perform with MC as everybody had a good time watching the spectacle while fireworks exploded in the sky.
