Troll Exchange Program

All of the bands are summoned to Wind Breeze's office and Trollex stood beside him.

"Thank you for coming today everybody," she said. "Trollex here is going to announce something."

"I'm a huge fan of all of you guys!" He said. "In fact, it's inspired me to lay out our own beat into this sick cultural mix. I want to invite one of my fellow artists to come and collaborate with me for my new album!"

"Oh!" They all gasped.

"My collaborator will be fully immersed in Techno culture while teaching my group the values and traditions of their own heritage, I call it Trollex's Troll Exchange Album!" He added,

"A chance to be a collaborator for his new album?!" DJ Suki gasped.

"For news that good, I think I'll toss up my 20 gallon hat Yeeeee-haaaaw!" Gust shouted,

"Yeah!" They shouted,

"A Troll exchange program?! Who will you choose?" Wind Breeze asked him.

"Well, Wind Breeze," Trollex said. "I came to TrollsTopia Records because you are the cultural exchange experts. So the question is, which one will you all choose?"

Soon, the leaders of the different bands and groups are assembled in Rose's home as Rose serves them snacks.

"Guys, requests are pouring in from particular members of our groups who want to be chosen for this program," Poppy said. "So I took the Poppy-tunity to scrap together a few assessments that will help us pick the best candidate. Are you with me?!

"Yeah..." they sighed.

"Guys, was that... ... halfhearted?!" She asked them.

"Yeah, you are right," Holly answered,

"I think I can explain, Poppy. Now, I realize I'm not a leader of any band and that I'm just here to take painfully detailed minutes of the meeting," Branch said. "But that is arguably the most important job of all, so..."

"Come on!" Barb shouted.

"Grownup jealousy, noted," he sighed. "Anyway, I think we're all a little down because choosing someone for the collaboration means saying good-bye to a band member when they go on tour."

"Minutes boy has a point, Poppy," Val said. "It's like we always say, the Trolls of TrollsTopia are like many notes forming one beautiful chord."

"Yeah, but when even one of them doesn't go missin', well, the music just ain't as sweet," Delta Dawn added.

"Yeah," everybody agreed with her.

"Look, guys, I hear you, but this is bigger than any one person," Rose said. "This Exchange Program means the values behind TrollsTopia Records are spreading throughout the world."

"Then let's not focus on who will lose," Poppy said. "Let's focus on finding the right Troll to send. Someone who gets real joy from learning about Techno culture and just as much joy sharing their own culture with others."

"Yeah!" They agreed,

"Then I ask again..." she asked again. "... are you with me?!"

"YEAH!" They shouted

"Overblown Troll enthusiasm," Branch sighed.

They had each band member from different bands and singing groups go through different surveys and record different songs of their own to submit to the record label. Finally, they look at the scores and added it into totals.

"Council members, after adding up your scores, I'm pleased to announce that you finally found the best candidate," Branch said as he turned the chart to show the competitors' scores. "DJ Suki."

"Oh," they sighed sadly.

"I guess that means DJ Suki is the one going to join Trollex in his collaboration," Holly Darlin' sighed.

"She does seem like the perfect one to go to work with Trollex," Val agreed.

"Yeah," they nodded.

"No, wait, there's a problem," Poppy gasped.

"What is it?" Rose asked.

Poppy continued to make different excuses in front of everyone and they all became confused but Rose, being the best friend she is, took a deep breath and is ready to put her foot down.

"No! It's not what it looks like. I... I was just...Just..." Poppy mumbled.

"Penelope Solena Monteiro!" Rose shouted.

"All right, fine! I am dragging things out because I don't want anyone to leave!" She answered.

"You don't mean," Branch gasped.

"I'm sorry. I know I said that we shouldn't focus on who we might lose. But I can't help it, OK? I just love you all too much. And the thought of letting someone in my band join another band, any of you, it's... it's... it's just too sad," she answered.

"Trust us, Poppy girl. No-one understands that feeling more than you do," Holly said,

"She's right, Popsqueak," Val added. "We all had to say good-bye to people we loved too when we came here but side projects are another way to earn money."

"Oh, Oh, yeah, Of course," Poppy gasped, realizing it.

"And the truth is, sometimes it feels sad, even now," Delta Dawn said.

"But, Poppy, what you realize, and I know this will be hard to believe so you're just goin' to have to trust us," Holly added.

"You realize that bein' part of this dream you started, learnin' to love and respect different people from different cultures. Livin' together in perfect harmony. Well, it's so worth it," Rose said.

"Really?" She gasped.

"Really," Holly replied.

"Besides, a side project is fun to work on, you know I recorded some sexy songs myself and compiled them into my own solo album," Rose said. "And come to think of it, our girl group with Barb is also our side project."

"Really?" She asked her.

"Yeah, and one way or another, we'll be on tour," Barb added.

"By the way, I wanted to do a collaboration with your band too," Darnell said.

"Don't worry Poppy, we'll be known for something more than just our main band," Delta Dawn said.

"But this is what brings our record label together," Rose said. "Sorry if I put my foot down on you."

"Awww, thanks guys," Poppy thanked them before turning to Rose. "It's alright, you were able to snap some sense on me, you just do what a best friend should do."

"No problem, this separation thing already happened to us before when I had to join my grandma on her tours," Rose said. "You know that this is not new to you, are you ready to make the final decision?"

"Thanks Rose and yeah," Poppy agreed.

On the next day, the bands assembled in front of Trollex's recording booth as he arrived.

"Well, Trollex, we have made a decision, our choice for the collaborator of your new album is...... DJ Suki!" Poppy announced.

The crowd cheers as DJ Suki appears in the hallway and waves to them. Trollex opens his recording booth and holds out a hand. DJ Suki stops and looks at Poppy and the others with tears in her eyes.

"You know we love you, right?" Rose said.

"Trust me, no matter where I go, no matter what I do, if there's only one thing I always know for sure, it's that all of my friends love me," DJ Suki said as she went inside the recording booth with Trollex.

This is based on the Trollstopia Finale of the same name but it's more about music collaboration.
