The Snack Pack Vlog: Family Values
Rose turned on the camera in her cellphone as the screen showed her, Poppy, and Branch together in Spain with some bodyguards backing them up.
"Hola everybody, welcome to Spain!" Rose said. "And we're sightseeing around Madrid before we leave for Seville, where our concert is going to happen."
"Rose, do you have to film every single shit of me when you make every single travel video of our world tour music festival," Branch asked her.
"Everybody wants to see your face on video," Poppy said. "We're already known as music celebrities."
"Okay guys, let's get our asses back to the real deal," Rose said before turning her phone's camera back to herself. "In our sightseeing in Madrid, we will see the sights and sounds of Spain as we learn about our heritage, because Spain was the country that colonized the Philippines, Mexico, and other Latin American countries, too bad our countries had taken shit and been crushed under Spain's heel for so long."
They went to Gran Via to go sightseeing as Rose filmed every part of the plaza and asked her labelmates and bandmates around for her blog.
"So Delta Dawn, what do you think of Gran Via? Does it make you connect with your Spanish ancestors?" Rose asked her.
"Si, it's easy to speak Spanish here," Delta Dawn answered. "Clampers will love these chocolates I got for her."
"I bought some too!" Cooper interrupted.
"Cooper! You kept on interrupting my vlog," Rose snickered in response. "I'm talking to Delta Dawn here so get your ass out of here."
After Cooper slinked away, Rose moved her camera and faced Delta Dawn.
"So Delta Dawn, I know you live in Lonesome Flats, that's a Hispanic community near Country Corral farmlands," Rose said. "How is your family back there?"
"It's not easy to be separate from the ones you love, especially Clampers," she answered. "Being a Comanche-Mexican, mi familia and mi communidad is my number one priority in my life."
"You mean Clara Hudson?" Rose asked her. "I only heard of her when grandma and I visited the kindergarten for charity promotion."
"Yeah, I remember Celestia, she did a lot for us, she's a real bad bitch like you," Delta Dawn said. "But unlike your best friend's boyfriend's family, who moved to Heartstring Meadows in the 1960s, I chose to stay in Lonesome Flats and help my community in my way."
"The Riveras still live in Heartstring Meadows and they're doing their best to help Lonesome Flats too by donations and helping out in charities," Rose said. "What ways did you contribute to your community?"
"I promote healthy living like organic farming, playing country music to inspire my community, and I also make sure they live healthy as I do," Delta Dawn answered honestly.
"That is a big role you play in your community, you're a bad bitch too," Rose complimented her.
"Thanks, you also do your part in your communities too and I'll do my best for my community," she said.
"Hey Rose, you should see this!" Trollex's voice called out.
"Wow, musicians," Rose said as she filmed them with her cellphone.
"Watch me perform," Trollex said as he started dancing with the musicians and a lot of people started throwing money at the music cases and cheered at them.
After filming every place downtown, they had lunch in Plaza Mayor.
"This is delicious, it reminds me of the food I ate in the Philippines," Rose said.
"Yeah, the tortilla española also reminds me of Mexico," Branch added.
"Like you said, the countries where our heritage came from have Spanish influence because of colonial influence," Poppy laughed with them.
"Tell me about it, most of us have Latin American or Filipino heritages, despite the good and bad shit we got from the colonization," DJ Suki said.
After lunch, they continued their sightseeing in Madrid as Rose continued to film around while interviewing Tresillo.
"So Tres, I only knew you when mi abuela, Celestial had been to Puerto Rico," Rose said. "How did you end up in Harmonia Falls?"
"Mi mami and papi were newlyweds when they moved to Harmonia Falls and had me and Eva," he answered.
"Was it hard for them when they migrated to the USA?" Rose asked.
"Yeah, it was hard for them to adapt and being treated like shit by racist assholes, but they stood up with the community of Lonesome Flats, despite that they chose to live in the beach community of Techno Reef," he responded.
"Okay Tresillo, this is a big deal of a question, what made you form Tres Corazon?" she asked him.
"Rosa, you're in for a treat," he answered. "My passion is actually music and dancing and my grandparents, whom we visited in Puerto Rico, taught us about traditional music, so I did a remix of some songs that I recorded while playing with my guitar and Eva and I started making up our dance moves."
"Wow, that is really creative how you guys end up turning to Reggaeton for reference," Rose said. "And you even invited your cousin, Carmen, to join you."
"Yeah, Carmen is mi papa's sister who was a single mother and she needs help with taking care of Carmen while she is having a hard time so mi mama and mi papa decided to take her in and care for her while our tiya is undergoing help," he said.
"Oh, just like how my cousin needed to stay with us when my aunt had a divorce," Rose said.
"Yeah, Latino families, Hispanic families, Filipino families and East Asian families really value family," Tresillo said. "Just like you and grandma, aren't ya."
"Yeah, family values are prominent in Spanish culture, no wonder our cultures have these values rooted from them," Rose said.
This continued on until they stopped to rest in their tour buses. Rose ended the vlog and edited her video with DJ Suki's help.
"What do you think of my video?" Rose asked them.
"You captured everything in our world tour music video, and your editing skills need a lot of fixing," DJ Suki complimented.
"Thanks," Rose thanked her.
"You really outdid yourself," Poppy added.
"Yeah, I can't wait for the show to start in Seville," she sighed.
