Sorry for my choice of the singer but it came into mind after I read the book and here's what I came up with:

River was sent to spy on Raven in the TrollTree to see how he's doing (he and Amy already only became friends), and while he was doing that, he came across a troll name Mady, he thought she was beautiful but, What am I doing? I'm not supposed to love an enemy, he thought and ran back home, not noticing that Mady actually saw him and kinda thought he was cute. And when the trolls became friends with the wolftrolls, let's just say the two got together after an agreement of befriending the once-enemies
