The guys ran into the castle until they made it to Bridget's room, making the girls look at them, confused.

"Guys, what are you doing here?" Bridget asked.

"This is a bachelorette party," Poppy said, emphasizing "bachelorette".

"Wait. Where's Branch?" Jamie wondered.

The boys looked at each other, wondering who should speak.

"Well? Where is he?" Jamie asked again, worry starting to take over.

"Jamie...Chef came back and took him away. She said he was part one of her plan," Gristle said nervously.

Jamie went from shocked to a mixture of anger and sadness. Tears came down like a waterfall as she panted heavily.

"Jamie, we're gonna get him back," Poppy stated.

"Yeah, we are," Jamie remarked.

"We'll go tomorrow," Cooper said.

"No. We need to go now. Who knows what could happen to him," Jamie disagreed.

"If we go now, it'll be too dangerous. We'll go at dawn," Biggie said.

Mr. Dinkles squeaked in response.

Jamie looked at all of them, seeing them nod in agreement to what Biggie said.

"Okay. But when we get him back, Chef's gonna pay," Jamie decided.

They all left for their homes and Poppy told the others what happened and they will go and rescue him in the morning.

Jamie sat on her bed, letting her thumb rub the necklace Branch gave her the day after he proposed to her.

She closed her eyes and remembered the memory of when he gave it to her.

The Day After Branch Proposed

Branch and Jamie went back to his bunker to get his stuff he needed for his new home when he found a little black box. He remembered something and tapped Jamie's shoulder, making her turn around.

"Jamie, I want to give you something," Branch said.

"You've already proposed to me. And there's another surprise?" Jamie giggled.

"Yes, but this is something I was given to hand down to my future wife," he replied.

"Oh, okay," she responded.

He showed her the box and opened it to reveal a beautiful blue necklace that looked like a raindrop with a silver lining and blue rhinestones on it. Jamie gasped quietly at it as he handed it to her and she looked at it.

"Branch, this is beautiful," Jamie said.

"It was my grandma's. She told me that when I knew I met the girl I wish to marry and when I felt it would be the right time, I should give this to her. I was a little kid at the time, so I didn't think much of it. Then after losing her and shutting almost everyone out of my life, it was forgotten. But you, you've always been there for me and I knew that you would be the one I would give it to," Branch explained.

Jamie smiled and kissed him. This lasted for a while until they just let their foreheads rest on each other.

"Could you help me put it on?" she requested.

"I would love to," he answered.

She gave the necklace to him then turned around. He put it around her neck and she looked in the mirror. She smiled as she touched it. Branch smiled too, holding her waist, making her lean into his touch.

"It looks beautiful on you," Branch said.

"Thank you. I really love that you trust me wholeheartedly with something that belonged to your grandma," Jamie replied.

"Well, I know that you and my grandma would've gotten along. This is one of the only things I have left of her and I know that I can trust you no matter what," he said.

"Thank you," she remarked.

"You're welcome. I love you, Jamie," Branch told her.

"I love you too, Branch," Jamie returned.

They hugged, finished gathering everything Branch needed, and went back to the Troll Tree.

Back to Present

Jamie put the necklace on and looked in her mirror with a look of determination in her eyes.

"I promise you, Branch. I will rescue you and nothing is going to stop me," she promised.

She sighed, packed everything she needed, then went to sleep.

P.S. That necklace is actually from my grandmother who passed away on September 27, 2017. This is one of the necklaces I got, which I converted it into a choker, and it's my favorite.
