One afternoon after lunch a young girl with pink hair in a ponytail in a light blue summer dress was in the library looking for some books for research she looks around looking for someone in particular who likes being in the library but she had to finish her homework she sat down working on her homework someone came and sat next to her she looks up and frowns a bit. It was a young man with blue long hair with a hint of green in it he wore a shirt that said peace and flashed her a smile it was non other then Creek her ex.

''Hello beautiful I thought I might find you in here.'' He said leaning closer as she backs away.

''Hello Creek did you need something?'' She asked not caring.

''I just want to check on you and ask please give me another chance.'' He said trying to take her hand.

''No Creek I'm not going though that again.'' She replied. She and Creek dated each other for a few months and he turned out to be selfish and jealous he always accused her of cheating and one day she caught him making out with another girl.

''I told you I was sorry and she kissed me first.'' He said.

''You kissed back your tongue was shoved down her throat.'' She said angrily then took a breath. ''Besides you know that I already have a boyfriend.'' She said trying to study.

''Oh yeah well he just a rebound guy until you find the right one or come back to me he is nothing like me and you guys have nothing in common.'' The young hippie said.

''One your wrong he is not a rebound guy he for keeps my heart belonged to him before you and me were together I just didn't know and your right he is nothing like you he a gentleman, he can sing and he always put me and others before himself, he doesn't judge me or accuse me of cheating like you you had a chance and lost it now leave.'' Poppy said proclaiming her love for her boyfriend.

Librarian came up to them. ''Miss Kendrick leave the library this minute your loud and others are trying to concentrate.''

Poppy sighed and checked out the book and grabbed her stuff and left the library still fuming. She went to the water fountain to get a drink and she heard a slow sad beat in the music room and she followed it to see a young man with dark blue hair he was working on music it was a sad and slow beat she went up to him clapping. He turned around to see Poppy.

''Hey handsome what are you working on another song?" She asked him smiling at him dreamily.

The young guy chuckled and pulled her to his lap and kissed her cheek. ''Yes I am Poppy I got most of the lyrics down I just need to sing maybe you can help me if this song goes right I will use it in the talent show and maybe you can help me.'' He said.

''Oh Branch I'd be more then happy to help you like a duet?'' She asked.

''Yes and also dancing.'' He said as she stroked his hair.

''I'm in.'' She said giggling.

''I thought you were in the library working on your homework?" He asked his arms around her waist.

''I was until Creek showed up making me so annoyed I got thrown out of the library.'' She said rolling her eyes.

''Why am I not surprised.'' He said.

''So can you sing me the song?'' She asked as she kissed his cheek.

''I can but would you like to sing the lyrics and I will join in.'' He suggested handing her the notebook.

''Won't you need this as well?'' She asked.

''I already have one.''

She smiles and he starts up the cd he had worked on giving them the beat.

Poppy listened and smiled sadly at the song it was so beautiful and Branch his voice was like an angels she loved hearing her boyfriend sing.

He looked at Poppy and smiled she smiled sweetly and she held out her hand as he stood and she smiled at him. ''I love you too.'' He handed her the sheet she scanned over it for a few minutes and then set it down.

During the song Branch and Poppy were slowly dancing and singing lost in each others eyes feeling in love.

''Wow that was beautiful Branch what made you write that?'' She asked as she rested her head on his chest. He lifted up her head and stares into her eyes.

''Well when you and Creek were together I was sad but then I saw him kiss that girl and saw you I watched you and saw how sad you were and then I saw you crying and comforted you then you know the rest.'' He said.

''Yeah before Creek I loved you but I didn't want to admit it but I'm glad I did.'' Poppy said smiling at her boyfriend and they share a sweet passionate kiss. They pulled away when they heard a slam in the lockers right outside they went out to see Hiccup Haddock with brown hair and green eyes getting his head slammed into the locker.

This upset Branch he hated when anyone got picked on by a big bully they knew as Vincent and he was always causing trouble him and his partner and Tai Lung.

''We need to do something to help.'' Poppy said.

''Right Poppy I'm gonna distract them help him.'' Branch said taking off.

''Come on guys let me though please I didn't do anything your homework will be finished by tomorrow.'' The boy said.

''Hey Tai Lung Vincent!''

They looked to see Branch coming over to them.

''What do you want shimp?'' asked Tai Lung.

''Just to say that that the principle wants to see you guys in his office I believe he said you two won a contest and need to get your prizes before they give them away.'' Branch said being as calm as possible.

''Why didn't they tell us?'' asked Vincent.

''He couldn't find you guys.'' The young man said.

The two bullies took off to the office as fast as they could. Poppy was already next to Hiccup. ''Are you alright man that bump looks bad.''

''Yeah I'm fine just in the wrong place at the wrong time.'' Hiccup said.

''Here your nose is bleeding you should see the nurse.'' Branch said handing him a tissue.

''No I'll be fine its just a nose bleed besides that would be the second time this week.'' He said.

''We have to do something.'' Poppy said.

''I'll be fine by the way lovely duet in there.'' He said.

''You heard?'' asked Branch as he blushed.

''Yeah I was walking by and heard you two that was beautiful and then they came and attacked me.'' Hiccup said.

Suddenly a girl with blond hair in a ponytail braid came over to him. ''Hiccup there you are I was looking all over for you.'' She said.

''Sorry Astrid I got caught up by Vincent again.'' He said smiling at his girlfriend.

''What are we gonna do about them. Hey Branch Poppy.'' She greeted.

''Hey Astrid.'' Poppy said.

''You guys have a good day come on Hiccup we have that meeting to get to.'' She said as they left.

''See ya guys.'' Hiccup called.

''Well I suppose since school is over we should be heading home.'' Branch said.

''Can you give me a ride please?'' The pink haired girl asked as he went to grab his music stuff as she grabbed her book bag.

''Yes I can.'' He said.

''My dad is gone so you could come over if you'd like for a bit.'' She said winking at him.

''Sure I'm sure grandma won't mind I'll just text her.'' He said as they walked to his car holding hands.
