Before Trolls...

One day not far from Troll Village two trolls were walking together. A beautiful pink troll was walking with a purple skin troll with light blue hair and yellow pants they were on a 'special friend hangout day' as Poppy called it and they were walking side by side holding hands.

''Its so quiet out here.'' Poppy said looking around.

''Yes it is and that is why we are out here.'' Creek said swinging their hands.

Not far away another troll was stalking them. It was non other then the grey lonely troll Branch he was known as the outcast survivalist and he was on a mission, making sure Poppy was safe it was something he did all the time in case she got in trouble at least what he told himself.

Deep down the reason Branch followed and watched Poppy is he had a crush on her and was protective as well plus he was very jealous of the relationship she and Creek had. ''Creek where did you get that?'' She asked looking at it.

''Oh well I was out meditating and while on my stroll I found this.'' He said.

''Oh from Branch yeah sometime ago he dropped his bag and books came out I opened one up to see what story it was and it was about flowers.'' She said blushing thinking of Branch.

Branch smirks and felt his heart swell at what she said as he listened from a tree not far away.

That annoyed Creek to no end. Poppy would go out of her way to try and help Branch and he would mock her and put her down ruining her invites, he never got invites likes that giving she always came and asked him personally which Creek didn't mind but wanted an invitation. Also he wasn't stupid or blind and he knew Branch had feelings for the princess.

''Well he would know but I don't see why you try so hard he doesn't care and he won't ever be happy or change and it only hurts you.'' He said holding her hand.

''Yeah I guess your right Creek.'' She smiled looking at him.

He gave her a smile and stroked her cheek holding it and then leans forward as their lips met in a kiss. Branch felt his heart shatter at this and he felt rage and jealousy built up hating Creek even more he should of left but he needed to make sure Poppy was ok even if it was hurting him seeing her with him.

He then squeezes her arm and roughly shoves her to the ground she backs up scared as he came over to her pinning her to the ground. ''I'll show you a friend.'' He growls.

Poppy shoved him only for him to backhand her as she screamed in pain.

Branch saw this and saw red that was it he jumps down with a loud scream and tackles Creek as they roll on the ground fighting. The grey troll saw Creek try to head butt him and dodged and Branch upper cut Creek and the guru troll glares and punches Branch in the face as they fight and Branch uses his legs to kick the male troll off and he got in front of Poppy growling like an animal.

''Don't you ever touch her!'' He screamed.

''Thats rich coming from you mate, your nothing but a stalker and this is non of your buisness.'' He taunted.

They went again tackling and pinning each other down both males had their hair around each other and Branch let go of Creek. ''Get out of here now!'' Branch demanded.

Creek took off running.

''BRANCH!'' Shouted Poppy coming over to him.

Branch held his stomach and winced as he touched his cheek. ''Are you alright Poppy?'' He asked holding her shoulders and looking her over.

''I'm fine its just a bruise on my arm. But are you ok you took quiet the hit.'' She said looking him over.

''I'm fine.'' He said looking at her.

''Why were you following us?'' She asked firmly but gently helping him up as they were holding hands.

''I always follow you to make sure you don't get hurt out here and well I didn't trust Creek so I followed to make sure you were alright.'' He said looking down.

''I find it a bit creepy you do that but in this case I'm grateful for you doing that.'' She said looking at him smiling.

''I'm sorry your date thing with Creek got ruined.'' He said rubbing the back of his head.

''It wasn't your fault.. but since he is gone and its still Special friend hangout day how would you like to be my special friend?'' She blushes.

''I'd be honored.'' He smiles as they sat back down and watched the view.

They sat in silence, Poppy looked over at him. ''What?'' He asked.

''Well um can I rest my head on your shoulder?'' She asked.

''Sure.'' He blushes.

She does that and Branch noticed they were holding hands. ''So how long have you and Creek been dating?'' He asked.

''We aren't its just a special friend day.'' She said.

''I see. Poppy there something I need to tell you.'' He said.

She looks at him. ''Yes?''

''I have feelings for you.'' He said looking into her eyes.

''You do?'' She asked.

''Yes I've always had a crush on you and loved you from afar, but the real reason I followed you today is because I was actually coming to see you.'' He said looking down.

''You were coming to see me?'' She asked shocked.

''Yes... I knew I didn't have a chance with you but I thought if I got to know you maybe there was a slight chance we could be together.'' He said.

''Well we could I'd be ok with that and plus you saved me so I owe you.'' She said.

''You owe me nothing.'' He said smiling at her.

She then leans in and kisses him on the lips. This shocked the grey troll but he kisses back as they held hands.
