Takes place before the Bergans and Poppy leans who the wonderful handsome singer troll is..

One fine day in Troll Village a gray troll named Branch was walking around collecting sticks, he walked by and saw the Snack Pack as Princess Poppy named them and they were talking among them was non other then Creek who was bragging about something.

Branch hated Creek for several reasons he made himself to be this great, easygoing, troll who everyone loved but Branch knew the true him he was nothing more then a jerk who loved seeing others miserble and he was a huge flirt with girls he had overheard Harper giggling about him and somehow he had Princess Poppy wrapped around his finger. He continued on with his collecting he went farther into the woods.

''Well hello there mate.'' Said a voice.

Branch rolled his eyes annoyed by this and turned to see Creek. ''Buzz off.'' Branch responded.

''Oh come on now Branch that's no way to talk you should try to be happy, happiness is the key-'' Started the guru troll.

''Look Creek I hate hearing it from the princess so why would I want to hear it from you?'' He asked still walking.

''True and you usually made her cry which is never nice you shouldn't take out your problems on others.'' Creek grinned loving to get under his skin.

''I don't take my problems out on the village only when trolls get in to my space then I shout.'' He said picking up more sticks.

''Oh yeah sure you don't do anything for this village besides ruin things and parties.'' Creek said.

''Yeah well Poppy is gonna get everyone killed with these loud parties.'' Branch snapped.

''You think your so much better then everyone mate well your not. I doubt you could even sing to save your life.'' Creek challenged.

Branch paused and frowns he hated when they assumed stuff like that. ''What are you getting at Creek?''

''There is a singing contest going on and I challenge you to a sing off.'' Creek said.

Branch looks at him and starts laughing. ''Yeah right a singing contest your out of your mind but thanks for the laugh.'' Branch said taking off.

''Well then again I do have the best singing voice and I hear there a prize at the end of the contest for the winner. Besides its a challenge and you can't refuse one.'' Creek said smirking.

It was a rule among the pop trolls if challenged to a singing duel or any type of challenge you have to do it and Branch grits his teeth holding back punching Creek in the face.

''There will be more then us Creek, and chances are you won't win.'' Branch said.

''Oh well then lets put it to the test, shall we make a small wager on it?'' Asked Creek.

''What would that be?'' Asked Branch.

Which ever one of us wins we get to spend the evening with her by ourselves.'' Creek said.

Creek was punched in the gut and he fell backwards. ''HOW DARE YOU BET ON THE PRINCESS LIKE THAT?!, she is not a piece of property or a prize she is a troll with feelings and being her 'friend' as you claim that is wrong and I refuse that bet.'' Branch said about to punch Creek again.

''Gee mate what's your problem you don't even like her.'' He pointed out.

''I don't have to like or talk to her but I will defend her to the end its my duty to protect her and the king from anyone who dare try to use or scheme against them. I accept your challenge to this singing contest on one condition that you don't tell her its me and I will win but I won't bet on anything.'' He said staring at Creek.

''Don't worry mate I won't say anything besides I want to save you the humility of losing so we won't say anything about this it will be just you and me with this.'' Creek said holding out his hand as Branch shook on it.

Later that evening Branch made his way to the the stage he peeked and saw all the trolls there and he saw Princess Poppy talking with the snack pack, he was nervous its been awhile since he sang but she was still so pretty, he never admitted this but he had a crush on her from afar.

He went to the back and saw the other guys he put on a cute wolf looking mask and he went up to where the guys were. ''Nice mask.''

Branch turned to see Guy Diamond and he nodded. ''Good luck.'' Guy said. ''Why does he look familar unless he is... no that can't be can it?'' He said to himself.

''Nice mask mate but that prize is mine.'' Creek said slapping Branch's back, but didn't know it was Branch as he continued looking for the gray troll.

Branch turned and said nothing walking away and he saw he was the last singer.

''Attention everyone welcome to tha annual Singing Contest set up by me and our wonderful DJ Suki. There will be a prize I will be kissing the winner of the contest and I will choose the winner good luck and just have fun!'' Poppy shouted jumping off the stage joining her friends.

Guy went first singing 'Perfect' Then other males went up singing there songs as well, all the trolls cheered and Poppy was smiling and cheering just as much.

The other trolls were singing and got lous cheers then it was Creek's turn and he smirks at Branch. ''That prize is mine.''

Branch rolled his eyes. Creek went up and winked at Poppy who was blushing and he started singing 'I need you now.' Creek was an ok singer he was nowhere near as musical as Guy and his voice was very pitchy and annoying if Creek thought he was the best singer someone needs to clean out his ears.

Branch grins as he see the other trolls looking shocked and some covered their ears. Once his song ended he got a loud applause not as loud as the others but loud enough.

''Our last contestant is the Silent Singer!'' Shouted DJ who got the name from Guy. Branch walked out and nobody knew it was him there were whispers and looking at him he saw Poppy mind working trying to figure out who it was he took a deep breath as music started playing and he started singing looking at Poppy.

When he started singing everyone was shocked by this voice, Poppy who had tried to figure out who it was surprised and the way he was singing gave her goosebumps and she found herself attracted to this silent masked singer and he was looking at her as if it was directed at her and she felt special and loved it she smiled dreamily so did all the other girls.

Guy and Creek were shocked. Poppy was so lost in the song somewhere in her mind she had hoped it was Branch who was singing but knowing him he would never come, and she knew hands down who the winner would be.

Branch was singing stright from his heart and it was aimed at Poppy he really did want her to know who he was he was just scared to tell her and if singing is the only way he would do it. He loved her for years and that would never change he loved seeing her look so happy but was a bit worried when he saw her tear up. He then finished his song with everything he got not caring if the Bergan came all he wanted was to see Poppy's smile.

He finished and the whole place went quiet and then he got the biggest and loudest applause and fireworks went off and all the girls were screaming like crazy and the guys were cheering and whooping.

''Can I have all the contestents to come up to the stage!'' Called DJ.

They all came out and Guy went up to Branch and smiled. ''You were amazing! I never heard that voice before you truely have a gift.''

Branch smiled at Guy and Creek was shocked and wondered who it could be he was happy beacause since Branch wasn't here he could humiliate him. Poppy came up smiling.

''This has been a great night and wonderful singers you guys were great and now the winner of this contest goes to non other then the Silent masked singer who got more applaud then anyone and who I pick as they winner.'' She said all the trolls cheered.

She looked at Branch. ''Now please take off your mask so I can give you your kiss.'' She said.

He used a deeper voice. ''I'm afraid I can't do that you wouldn't want to kiss me.'' He said shyly.

''Please I wish to look upon the face of my wonderful masked singer please.'' She made puppy dog eyes and places her hand on his shoulder he felt a jolt and then nodded and took off his mask.

The crowd went silent, and Poppy looked surprised. Guy grins he knew it, he guest it was Branch.

''Its you Branch.'' She said smiling not daring to hope.

''Yes princess its me.'' He said showing a smile.

''I have to know who was that song directed at?'' She aslked.

''It was meant for you Poppy I just wanted you to know who I was.'' He said smiling a genuin smile.

Poppy couldn't contain herself screw the kiss on the cheek she then leans in and kisses him on the lips.

Branch almost couldn't believe it the Princess was kissing him! He then kissed back and placed his arms around her waist as her slid to his chest they pulled away.

''I had hoped it was you.'' She said.

''Alright great job mate you win nwo you have the bragging rights and enjoy your time with your new prize.'' Creek said not happy.

''Wait what?'' Asked Poppy.

''Yes me and Branch took a bet that whoever won we would get to spend the evening with you.'' Creek said.

Poppy was shocked. ''Is that true Branch?" She asked pulling away.

''No its not Creek wanted to bet that I told him no I only took his challege so he would leave me alone I never bet on anything.'' Branch said glaring not believing Creek.

''Its actually true princess Poppy I was out walking and heard Creek say to Branch and then Branch punches him in the stomach and yelled at him calling him out.'' Keith said.

The snack pack and Poppy look at Creek and glared. ''You think you can use me as a prize I thought better of you Creek we are no longer friends.'' She shouted.

She looks at Branch and took his hand. ''That aside would you like to spend the evening with me?'' She asked.

''Only if you want me too Poppy.'' He said.

''I want to get to know you and who you really are.'' She then takes his hand and pulls him away from the group as they spend time getting to know each other.
