Branch and Poppy play 10 questions during a storm

So Poppy was sitting in Branch's bunker with him waiting out the horrible storm that was happening they may have been friends but it was awkward when you are with the troll you been crushing on without them knowing your feelings sure Branch and Poppy had saved the trolls and brought peace but there was always that thing does, he/she love me. Poppy was sitting at one end of the couch.

''So not that I'm complaining but what brought you all the way out here to see me?'' asked the teal color troll.

Poppy had a flashback.

Flashback...

The queen had finished helping her dad the former king plant his garden as he needed a hobby.

''So, what are you doing after this Poppy dear?'' Her dad asked.

''Oh, going to visit a friend.'' She said smiling a bit.

''Oh, you mean that troll um Branch was it. You finally going to confess your feelings for him?'' He teased.

Poppy looked up and blushed her dad maybe old, but he wasn't dumb.

''What do you mean dad he a friend that I care about.'' She said.

''Yes, but your always with him and he did say he loves you I'm surprised you haven't told him it back yet. unless you don't love him back but then why would you spend all of your free time with him?'' He dad said digging another hole for the poppies he was planting.

Poppy smiled and after helping her dad she decided to go see Branch and confess but she noticed it was getting stormy out and made it to the bunker just as it started raining Branch was outside watching the weather and pulled Poppy in and here, they were inside.

Flashback over.

''Well, I came here to visit you among other things.'' She mumbled.

''Well, what other reason did you come over for?'' He asked raising an eyebrow looking at her.

''Well, hey let's play 10 questions to get to know each other better and then you can ask any questions you want and anytime we answer we move closer to each other.'' She said smiling sweetly at him.

''Sure, let's play this storm is gonna be here awhile anyway.'' Branch said curious as to why Poppy came over, he loved it when she was with him.

''Ok I'll start first question um favorite color?'' Asked Poppy.

''Purple. my turn um what is your favorite color, Poppy?''

''Um pink obviously.'' She said smugly.

''Ok second question do you feel better now that the bergans are our friends?'' Poppy asked looking at him.

''Well, I'm still getting use to it I feel content is the word.'' He answered shrugging.

''Ok, third question. Um did you really know I was coming to help you?'' He asked curious.

''I was 99% sure you would why else would I have brought the trolls down there to annoy you?'' She asked giggling.

''And did you know I would come at that moment?'' He asked.

''Hey one question at a time it's my turn anyway. Third question why did you keep those invitation I made you after you destroyed them?''

Branch squirmed a bit. ''Well, I was actually gonna throw them away, but I just couldn't I guess I loved that even though I said no you kept making me more and plus it was nice to have something a bit colorful in here.'' He said honestly.

''Aww Branch that is so sweet.'' She said fluttering her eyelashes.

''Ok my turn question 3. Why did you kept trying to get me to be happy when I clearly didn't want it?'' He asked.

''I'm not the type to give up and plus you were and still are a challenge that I was trying to accomplish who knew all it would take was a bergan.'' she laughed.

''I warned you several times.'' He replied smirking.

''Ture alright my turn question four. Did you have a crush on someone before the bergan incident?''

Branch blushed a bit. ''Well yes, I did I still do but only from the distant as she could never love me.'' He answered.

''Who is she?'' asked the queen curious.

''Hey, it's my turn to ask you a question so here it goes who is your favorite in the snack pack?'' He asked grinning.

''That is not a good question I like all of them Branch but by far I'm gonna say you because you are now a part of the snack pack.'' She said.

''I never said I was.'' He said blushing.

''Ok question five. Why did you and Creek not get along?'' She asked it had been bugging her.

''Oh well several reasons 1. He thinks he better then everyone else. 2. He loves to torment me, and last, we both have our eyes on a certain crush.'' He said sweating a bit.

Poppy's heart was racing she was nervous Creek liked her so could it be Branch liked her all along she was gonna find out tonight.

''Ok anyway my turn did you have a crush on Creek?'' He asked trying not to get jealous.

''Well yes, I did for a bit, but it was like puppy love I believe but deep down I was crushing on a different guy but didn't know or wanted to admit but then as I got older, I realized he would never love me, but it turns out I think he does.'' She said her mind wandering. Branch was a mixture of feeling was she talking about him or did he have another champion to deal with.

Poppy shook her head. ''Oh, um question six who was the girl you were singing about when you were singing Total eclipse of the heart when you were by yourself under that tree a few weeks ago?''

Branch nearly spilled his tea. ''You mean you were listening to that? it's an invasion of privacy.'' He said.

''Not if you were outside singing it doesn't.'' She said smirking.

''It was the girl I had a crush on happy?'' He asked teasingly.

''Yes, ok your turn for question seven.''

''Ok Do you have a crush on somebody now?'' He asked.

''Well yes, I do he cute and handsome and I could stare at him all day and his voice is amazing I'm head over heels in love with him.'' She said in a dreamy voice.

Branch was curious and they were close to the end of the game. ''Ok your turn Poppy question eight.

Poppy smiled. ''So, is this girl you like are you friends with her?'' She asked.

''Yes we are a lot closer then she thinks I did tell her I loved her not sure if she got it or not.'' He said.

''Ok my turn so why did you come over here today to see me?'' He asked staring at her and smiling.

''Uh well um I came over because well I usually do and plus, I was helping my dad and he brought you up and something that I need to do.'' She said.

''Can you tell me please?'' He asked not realizing they were in front of each other holding hands.

''It's my turn question nine do you have a crush on me?'' She asked tightening her grip on his hands.

''Yes, Poppy I do you're my crush the girl I love.'' He said leaning closer. ''My turn do you have a crush on me Poppy?''

''Yes, I do it was aways you even if I didn't admit it.'' She said they were nose to nose now.

''Final question Do you mean it in the song that you love me?'' She asked.

''Yes.'' He closed the gap and kissed her sweetly she was surprised but kissed back her hands on his chest and his hands on her shoulders.

They continued to kiss and finally Branch pulled away breathless. ''Ok my turn why did you really come here Poppy?''

Poppy was catching her breath. ''I came here to tell you I love you my dad made me realized that I do love you and you said it to me, and I didn't say it back.'' She said wanting more of his kiss and she managed to tackle him on the couch and kissed him passionately he wrapped his arms around her and starts to french kiss her.

''Oh, Branch that feels so good.'' He had his big strong hands going all her body feeling her and she was touching him as well.

''I love you Poppy more then you will ever know.'' Kissing her neck leaving nice hickey marks on her and she left a lot on him.

The rain had stopped but the couple didn't care they continued their make out session for part of the night when finally, they decided to take it to the bedroom for some real fun.
