The celebration was about to begin, more than just a celebration though, it was Princess Glimmer's Sip & See party, a modern tradition that parents host for their newborn babies to gather more attention to their children. The event's appearance was pretty ominous as of yet, the usual blinking lights of the Spiral Groove system were pretty quiet as the guests arrived from all across the galaxy. Queen Stellar was pretty serious about this event somehow, Guy Diamond however still got used to these Disco Traditions that somewhat related to the ways of the Pop Trolls, but yet varied widely.

Poppy, Branch, and their friends had just arrived on Planet Jives from their earth through a musical montage. Froggy parked on the landing port flawlessly, barely leaving a scratch on the trolls' rocketship. The robot assistant pulled a lever and lowered the ramp for the passengers to exit the space vehicle. The royals and their allies paraded from inside the spaceship and crossed the footbridge toward the palace while rocking fabulous disco attire, all in order fo fit in with the crowd and the aesthetic.

"Well, it isn't my favorite costumers." A chill yet recognizable voice echoed from the top of the entry staircases, "Welcome back, Pop Friends!"

Satin & Chenille held each other's arms while sighting dreamily, "Casanova..."

"You got that right." Casanova revealed himself to the guests and winked at the twins, "Yall ready to bring this boogie down?"

Poppy grinned mischievously over that insinuation and pulled onto Branch's glossy paper vest, "OH WE ARE SO READY."

Casanova extended his arm for his date, it was Frizzy, who drooled over the disco troll's charm. The two walked up the stairs and entered the building as our group of pop trolls was halted before they could even step through the door. An intimidating masked individual put their hands in front of them, "Halt! Identifications please."

"Oh." Poppy blinked at this sudden yet unexpected behavior, "Well, I'm Queen Poppy and this is my husband B-"

"Putzy!" The guard responded with a less intimidating and much more approachable tone, the guard opened their arms and went for a hug.

Branch couldn't be more confused over this, "What?" He questioned not his wife and friends, who quickly recognized the person, "I'm sorry, who are you?"

"Huh? Oh right." The guard stopped the intense hug and deactivated their helmet, it was no one other than General Supergleam, "It's me duh!"

"Of course." Branchfacepalmed with a silly smile on his face, "Hi Supergleam."

Supergleam rubbed her hands together and stepped aside as she began to hand out some instructions for them, "Thank goodness you got here in time, the opening ceremony is about to begin. Please, before you enter the main hall, drop the gifts inside that huge box." Suddenly a synthesizer note played and she flinched, "Whoops! It's time for me to go! See you later!"

The group marched into the palace and wandered toward the main hall, each SnackPack member dropped their gifts into the crate as did Poppy and Branch. As they entered the hall, it was noticeable that a large portion of the Disco Trolls were missing from the audience and a large stage built on top of the thrones was prepared for a brand new performance coming from the royals and their people. Suddenly, Tiny Diamond emerged from the ceilings on top of a spinning mirror ball, "Attention trolls of all ages! The opening ceremony is about to begin. Trigger warning for flashing lights, lots of glitters, and iconic trolls. So now, stay put and enjoy."

The disco trolls all showed up from behind the curtains doing a beautifully rehearsed rollerskate choreography around the stage, as Tiny Diamond ziplined from the mirror ball and landed on his father's arm down at the stage. Queen Stellar and Supergleam did a small best-friend dance before Guy Diamond let his son do a break dance solo, and the father pulled his wife into a couple's dance. The disco trolls and the royal dance performed together as a nation, the Queen soon began to perform her solo, "Have you heard about the new dance craze?
Listen to us, I'm sure you'll be amazed
Big fun to be had by everyone
It's up to you, it surely can be done."

The Queen shimmied her shoulders as she passed the spotlight to the spotlight himself, her husband, Guy Diamond who used his autotune abilities to bring an extra flare to this performance and something new to the disco style of these trolls, "Young and old are doing it, I'm told
Just one try, and you too will be sold
It's called Le Freak, they're doing it night and day."

"Allow us, we'll show you the way." Supergleam added with her sole part, soon all the trolls began to do a beautifully performed in-line dance across the dance floor stage on top of the thrones. The baby Glimmer lowered down from her room on the floating baby carriage, the audience was really into the whole thing, "Ah, freak out

Tiny Diamond paused the whole performance and added a segment of his own, the child had to express his inner thoughts in song and his expectations to be the king of hip-hop in the future, he had a lot of responsibility now that his tribe would become much prominent in the troll world, he had to learn more about the ruling, "Standin' in the Hall of Fame (Yeah)|
And the world's gonna know my name (Yeah)
'Cause I burn with the brightest flame (Yeah)
And the world's gonna know my name (Yeah)|And I'll be on the walls of the Hall of Fame."

"Now freak
I said freak
Now freak."
The Disco Trolls came back with all their might and dazzle, pulling everyone's attention back to disco and glamour. The singing soon came to an end with a magnetizing pose, Guy Diamond and Quee Steller stood front and center with Glimmer in their arms, Tiny beside them and Supergleam floating above the royals, their closest subjects rounded the inner circle, "Ah, freak out

Ah, freak out

Freak out."

The audience went wild, everyone cheered over the beautiful introduction to baby Glimmer in the form of a song. Biggie hollered like a fangirl as he squeezed Mr. Dinkles as if his life depended on it, "THAT WAS BRILLIANT! AMAZING!"

Mr. Dinkles puked a rat from his mouth as Biggie continued to squeeze his brain out. Queen Stellar and Guy Diamond soon caught everyone's attention. Guy Diamond cleared his throat and spoke into the microphone, "Welcome esteemed guests to baby Glimmer's very first party! We are so excited to introduce her to the Disco-Pop culture and to all of her closest friends."

"Everyone will be able to meet her but the Meet-and-Greets are scheduled for later tonight." Queen Stellar continued her husband's introduction, "In the meantime, socialize and enjoy the appetizers we selected for you. Always have fun!"

DJ Suki leaned against a pillar as she clapped along with the audience when the speech ended, Supergleam hopped toward her with a smile on her face, "Hey! Disco-Jockey Suki!"

"Uhh, hi?" DJ replied with a skeptical look on her face, she knew she had been summoned to do her job at the party but she didn't expect that yet, "What's up?"

Supergleam smiled awkwardly, "So uhh... I thought you'd want to see the setup before you started to, you know, do your thing?"

"Oh, sure." DJ did not expect this to come from Supergleam, while it wasn't expected, she appreciated it a lot coming from her friend who isn't so close to her. Soon the party developed and many things started to lead to the meet-and-greet with the new princess, the guests clearly had a blast and the party was much more than just a Sip & See it was a proper Disco Party.
