Today was Christmas Eve. December 24th. Poppy woke up in high spirits. She hoped that today, she could get Branch into the Christmas spirit. She went outside. Only to see the little kids playing in the snow. She just smiled. Seeing the little kids enjoy themselves made her so happy. Then, she saw Branch. "Branch!" She yelled before running up to him. "Merry Christmas Eve Branch!" She said as she got up to him. "Merry Christmas Eve Poppy." He replied. "So... What you wanna do today?" Poppy asked in a curious voice. "I don't know, why don't you teach me how to make a snowball properly?" Branch replied sarcastically. Thy both chuckled. "I should probably teach you not to aim for my head." Poppy said back again sarcastically. The 2 just walked around the town admiring the lights. They planned to sit together by a fire and drink hot chocolate together in the night. But that was still to come. So obviously, Poppy being... Well being Poppy, decided that they should sing another song. "Branch, I hear another Christmas song coming on!" She said excitedly. "Shocker." Branch said sarcastically. They started signing Underneath The Tree by Kelly Clarkson.

Once they finished up the song, the trolls and bergens cheered the 2 trolls for their amazing performance. They just smiled back. They headed back to the Troll Tree as it was getting dark. Branch went over to his pod to collect a few of his belongings and then went to Poppy's. Branch made some delicious Hot Chocolate and him and Poppy sat down by the warm fire. Poppy rested her head on Branch's head. She was still feeling that Branch wasn't in the full Christmas spirit, but she didn't want to think about that. She just wanted to relax and enjoy the evening with him. "So, what are we doing tomorrow?" Branch asked. "Oh don't you remember, I'm throwing the biggest Christmas party ever to celebrate your first Christmas in over 20 years." Poppy replied. "Oh yeah. I forgot..." Branch said. for the rest of the night, the 2 didn't talk much. Eventually, they fell asleep. Poppy fell asleep first before Branch fell asleep himself. The 2 slept peacefully on each other. Waiting for the morning.
