Diet: Carnivore.

Appearance: Fire lynxes are large Smilodon-like big cats. They are very similar to the long-extinct saber-toothed cats of the prehistoric times. Pelt varies between sandy, grayish brown to rusty brown with a lighter underbelly. Often the pelts are decorated with darker brown spots, rosettes or stripes. Mane varies from brown to black.

Status: Least Concern.
