One of the many different life element skylanders in the Skylands, High Five is a fast and furious force to be reckoned with. High Five has the power of a dragon of Skylands, while having the properties of a insect, specifically the dragonfly. Like many other dragons, he has a mischievous behavior to him, though many can agree that it's his speed and natural power that makes him what he is.

His back story is something else. Compared to his 5 brothers, he's the youngest. This meant that he couldn't compete in the races with his brothers for the Sparx trophy. One year, some trolls came to take the trophy and ruin the races. High Five wouldn't have it, and without thinking, he flew in the race and managed to not only get the Sparx trophy back, but chased the trolls out of town for good. Master Eon heard word of this feat of courage and requested for High Five to come for a chance to be a Skylander.

High Five's moveset is not so surprising considering he's a bug. He can shoot rapid fire poison shots at his enemies, which can also produce poison clouds that chase the enemy to the death. He also can dash towards the enemy with his speed like Sonic the hedgehog. There's also a slam attack that where High Five flies in the air and slams himself to the ground. This move can be charged up, but this costs High Five's energy(or, in gameplay terms, health) making High Five one of few Skylanders that has a self-inflicting power. He also apparently has the ability to summon healing apples after slamming himself to the ground, making High Five one of a handful of Skylanders that can heal themselves.

High Five was one of three skylanders to be chosen in one of the chip bag contests that skylanders hosted. After a vote was held on what the three new skylanders' names would be and which one would be available early through the chip bag contest, it was decided that out of High Five, Bat Spin, and Flip Wreck, High Five would be the Skylander of choice.
