Trisha POV

I did not know if he ate or not. I did not know if he would come back to sleep here or sleep in the tent.

As the night grew darker, the stars shone bright. I had a few bites to calm the aching in my stomach down and went inside the cottage. I kept the door open in case he would come late.

And, I changed into my normal clothes mine before slipping under the blanket.

The tiredness brought me the sleep easily. But, I was alarmed as a dog. And, my eyes opened wide when I heard the door closing.

"Abhi," I immediately muttered "Hnn?" he replied from the other side of the partition and I inhaled a deep breath closing my eyes back.

It comforted me after hearing his voice.

"You are still awake?" he asked, and I heard the slight noise of his breathing, and him opening his trunk.

"No, just woke up with the noise," I replied and shifted a little, pulling the edge of the dupatta slightly over my chest.

"Where is my Kurta?" he asked, and I remembered that I did not pick the clothes from outside.

I quickly sat up. "I left it outside to dry and forgot to pick it up. I shall go and fetch it," I said and was about to stand up when he replied.

"It's raining,"

Now, I noticed the slight chilling and rustling of rain on the cottage's roof.

"Oh," I managed to say and I gulped before asking.

"Khana khaenge aap?"

"Will you eat food?"

"Nahi,"

"No," he replied from the other side and I heard his slight footsteps walking towards me. And, the moment I saw him standing before me, my gaze lowered to his half-naked presence. He was just in a full-length loincloth and I lowered my gaze.

"I only brought one Kurta for one night," he explained and I nodded.

"That's okay," I said, and pulled the blanket aside and looked at the finely laid cotton bed sheet over the layer of two mattresses.

I heard his movements as he lay beside me. I noticed him palming his face and inhaling deeply.

"You look tense," I said, covering him with the blanket and he shook his head.

"What happened?" I asked laying back and he placed his arm under my head.

"Sleepy," he said and I felt him placing his palm around my arm and gently caressing it.

"Good night," I muttered and turned my head opposite him, closing my eyes. And, his arm wrapped around me.

"Trisha," he said, after a few moments of silence and I felt him turning towards me. I felt his chest against my back and his other hand holding mine.

"Turn this way," he muttered and I inhaled deeply before slowly turning on my back and looking at his tired face. His eyes were slightly red, the hair falling on his forehead and the way a tiny candle's light fell on his shoulder, I could not help but feel a sense of calm and thunder.

"Does this closeness scare you?" he asked in a low and sleepy voice and I looked up at his face turned down on my stomach and lifted my face by placing both of my elbows down.

"A little," I muttered and he stared deeply into my eyes, while holding the edge of my dupatta and asked.

"Then, why are you having this around,"

I gulped silently, feeling him pull it slowly and keep it aside.

"Ese hi, dhyan nahi raha, sote nahi hai bina chunri ke hum jyada,"

"I did not notice it. I do not sleep without it much," I managed to say and he just kept staring into my eyes.

"Did you talk to your father?" he asked, and I lowered my gaze. I felt his hand come closer and then his finger gently tugging the loose strand of my hair behind my ear. It tickled me a little.

"No," I muttered and looked up, biting my lip, "I do not know what to tell him," I clarified and felt his finger drag down along my jaw and his thumb brushing my chin.

"You know, you look even more beautiful when you are calm and silent," he muttered in a slow voice and I smiled weakly, looking up into his eyes.

His words felt beautiful to me.

"You were sleepy," I reminded him and felt the back of his hand caress my cheek. I could not help but lean into his touch and feel his skin so light yet leaving some weight on my chest.

My breath hitched when he opened his curled fingers and feathered them against my neck, touching some untouched region.

"I am sleepy," he muttered and slowly took his fingers over the nape. I lowered my gaze to his chest and closed my eyes before placing my face on it. I heard him inhale deeply.

His chest felt hot.

"You drenched in rain?" I asked, and he nodded. His fingers brushed against slightly lower to my shoulder's back side.

"Unn-hnnn," he hummed and I gulped trying to calm myself down.

It was so silent here. Peaceful.

"Abhi," I muttered, remembering suddenly that would be of his help.

"Hnn?" he asked and I lifted my face slightly up, by placing my chin timidly on his chest. His eyes were always closed.

"My friend got married and in the morning, I talked to her," I said, and he remained silent. I could feel his breaths through the rising and lowering of his muscular chest. "She told me about some marital things," I said and he did not react anything. Though, I knew he was awake as I could feel his fingers draw lines on my shoulder and a little over my back.

"She told me that it only hurts for the initial times and it feels good," I managed to say, and shifted a little upwards to look at his face more clearly.

I hovered over him a little.

"I do not think it will hurt now," I muttered in a slow voice and he opened his eyes lazily.

"No," he whispered and I tightened my jaw.

"But, she said that women enjoy it. And, she said that she enjoys it a lot," I tried to say and he gulped staring into my eyes.

"You want to get pregnant so that you leave me soon," he said, and I stared silently into his eyes.

"That's the topic of debate but," I muttered and slowly leaned in closer to his lips and pecked once. He was looking so good today and everything he told me earlier was melting me for him. "Thank you so much for telling me your feelings and I do not hate you that much," I managed to say and looked into his eyes. His gaze was turning even softer and calm.

"I do not want to hurt you," he muttered and I felt his fingers pull the loose hair strands off my cheek from behind. I noticed that with this laying position of ours, he could see a slight cleavage of mine. I flinched for a few moments before I realised that it was not that much he was watching in comparison to my friend's husband.

He caressed the back of my head and gently pulled me closer to his lips. I closed my eyes noticing him lifting his face a little up and placing his lips over mine a little. The touch lasted only for a moment but it made me warm in my cheeks.

"You should sleep," he muttered, and I placed my head on his chest, timidly.

He kept caressing my head and I did not realise when I fell asleep again.

I woke up in my arms at my regular time. My face opposed him and he was hugging me from behind. I could hear his calm breaths brushing against my ear and the weight of his hand on my waist was making me feel lazy.

For a moment, I wanted to close my eyes again and just feel this newfound silence and calm between us.

But, we were in my father's home and he would be leaving for the walk soon.

Considering this I gave up on my laziness and stretched my arms. And, with it stretched my stomach and he inhaled deeply shifting closer to me.

"I need to go," I muttered, slowly turning around to push him away. And, suddenly he placed his hand on the side of my bare waist and brushed his thumb on it.

"Where?" he asked and I looked up at his face. The lamp had died and it was dark in here. There was still time for the sunrise and slowly he turned me towards him. I felt his hand lower down to the small of my back and pull me to himself. Our chest collided and I could feel my breathes slowing down,

"Abhi, pitaji must be awake," I muttered and he leaned in closer and before I could realise what was happening he placed his lips to the side of my lips. My heart stopped for a moment.

I tried to reach for his hand behind me and felt him shifting closer and leaning into my neck. I inhaled deeply when he kissed my ear.

"Abhi," I muttered again and he just lowered his lips to my neck and I closed my eyes. I could feel my breath shortening. He was slowly shifting over me.

"Abhi," I breathed and felt his hands crawling up to my neck before shifting me down under him.

"Trisha," he muttered in response and I struggled to bring my hand between us and place it against his chest.

"Subah hone wali hai, Abhi,"

"It's going to dawn soon, Abhi," I muttered and he sucked me slowly on my neck. I closed my eyes, stretching it back in response.

"Hui to nahi hai na,"

"It's not yet dawn, right," he whispered against my neck and I felt his other hand cupping my cheek gently and brushing his thumb near my lips.

"Raatri me humne kaha tha tab to aapne mana kar diya,"

"You denied it when I asked you to do it at night," I reminded him and he brought his lips to mine and muttered.

"Kuch nahi karenge, bass kuch karna hai,"

"We will not do anything, I just want to try something," his voice shivered me a little and I asked.

"What?" my voice came out shaky and he sucked on my lips before whispering in a low voice.

"I have heard that woman like being sucked," his words made me knit my brows. I could not see anything clearly amid the darkness but I could sense whatever it was, it did not seem a good thing.

"Sucked, where?" I managed to whisper and felt him shifting down, and sitting up, closer to my knees.

"Abhi, what are you doing?" I asked, and I could feel my breath shortening as he placed his hand on my ankle.

"Sucked where?" I asked, unknowingly pressing my thighs together. I could sense something weird happening.

"Between the legs," he whispered and I immediately pulled my knees up, bringing my feet closer to my feet.

"Are you mad? Who told you?" I asked, trying to shit up but he hovered over me a little and muttered.

"Let me try, please," he said, and I shook my head.

"Are you mad? No," I said, and he touched my knee.

"Please, please, I want to know that," he whispered and I felt him pulling my skirt slightly up.

"Abhi!" I immediately sat up and shifted back. "I want to go," I said, trying to stand up and walk away but he quickly held my legs at my knees and at my waist before pulling me into his lap.

"Yuvraj!" I felt something twist in me with this bold act of his and he muttered.

"Nahi kar rahe,"

"I am not doing,"

I inhaled a breath of peace and slowly tried to move off his lap.

"Dara diya aapne to hume, esi oojhi baate kon batata hai aapko,"

"You scared me, who tells you these rubbish things," I asked and stood up.

He laid down inhaling deeply.

"How is this rubbish?" he asked, and my mouth hung open.

"You are impossible," I muttered and he sighed deeply.

"Aap apne bade hone ka bhot laabh uthati hai, har cheej me rok tok, or hame darati rehti hai, khud ka man ho to sab thik hai, chipak lo, chumban karlo, or doosre vyakti ka koi man nahi hai kya,"

"You take so much advantage of being older, controlling everything, and scaring me. You can hug me whenever you want, kiss me and do not care what other person wants," he said, and I stood wordless, fisting my fingers.

"Abhi what you ask is so... shameful," I tried to exclaim and he just stared blankly at me.

"Fine, go out," he blurted out and I shook my head. It was so difficult for him to hear a no.

"Fine, going," I muttered, picking the dupatta up from beside him and tucking it neatly around me.

I noticed him turning on his side and going back to sleep. He was cute.

Leaving him, I came out to finish my morning business and did the work that I usually used to do.

By the time I finished cooking breakfast, Pitaji came back and sat in his usual place.

"I have boiled the milk, Pitaji. Shall I pour it for you?" I asked and he nodded crossing his legs.

"Where is Yuvraj? When did he come back yesterday?" he asked, while I poured him the breakfast and replied.

"He is sleeping. He came after midnight," I answered and he nodded.

"He is not a responsible person, Trisha. He is... childish," he said, and I lifted my gaze to look at him.

"If he were not a responsible person, he did not have to tell you anything. But, he did it because he wanted to take responsibility for whatever he had done. And, about being childish. I agree that he is a little immature but what is wrong with being that all the time? He is not that bad, Pitaji," I said and inhaled deeply remembering what he called me yesterday.

"And, speaking of a likeliness towards royalty, money or power, he proposed to me almost ten days earlier of our wedding but I chose your choice," I said, and noticed him lowering his gaze. His fingers moved a little on his knee. "Also, he did not force me. Not the way he pretended in front of you. He... I always knew that he wanted to marry me, ever since you thought of marrying me off. But, I played rigid because like you I also took him as childish," I could not stop myself from saying and he said all of a sudden.

"You are taking his side. You are supporting him in his wrongdoing," his words made me gulp with slight fear. His tone sharpened and I nodded.

"He took my side too," I said, and he lowered his gaze, turning silent.

"Do whatever you seem fine. This is your life. Just do not come complaining to me. I spent twenty-five years raising you and it feels like coming down to nothing," he said and indulged himself in the breakfast. I sat silent, trying to control my tears.

If he was right, I could go to him and if he was not, then I could not go to him. Right.

But, before he could finish his breakfast I chose to speak.

"Pitaji, aaj apne ghar ke liye laut rahe hai hum, or nishtint rahiye aapke naam ko badnaam nahi hone denge. Aapke aashirwaad ke abhilashi hai,"

"Pitaji, I am to return to my home today, and do not worry I would never harm your name. Just need your blessings," my voice came out slightly shaky and he nodded.

"Be happy," he said and stood up to leave already for the Ashram.

"Do not wait for me. I have important work to finish today. I am going somewhere," he said, and now I could stop the tears coming out, and I looked away.

"Ji," I muttered and heard his footsteps leaving.

Washing my tears away, I picked up his used utensils and placed them in the corner to wash later. It was the beginning of the second Prahara and he should be awake now.

So, I went in and found him still asleep.

"Abhi, get up, we need to leave or we will get late," I said, picking up my used clothes to wash them.

He did not even flinch hearing him. Kneeling I placed my hand on his bicep and shook him slightly.

"Abhi, wake up," I muttered and he inhaled deeply and shifted on his back. His hand held mine to pull me closer to him. I sat and clicked my tongue feeling slightly irritated.

"Abhi, get up. We will be late. Maasa will get angry," I said, and noticed him opening his lazy eyes.

He sat up all of a sudden and looked into my eyes.

"Are you ready?" he asked, lowering his gaze down for a moment.

I shook my head.

"A little bit of work is remaining and then I will get ready," I said, and he nodded.

"Then why did you wake me up so early?" he asked, throwing the blanket away and I bit my lip a little.

"Fill three to four pots of water from the well and keep them in the bathing room, so that I can take a bath," I said, and he immediately lifted his gaze to look intensely into my eyes.

"Me?" he asked, and I nodded, rolling my eyes a little.

"Who is my husband?" I asked, and he smiled a little.

"Me," he muttered, and I nodded.

"So, who will do this?" I asked further and his smile widened a little.

"Me," he whispered and I smiled, standing up.

"So, get up," I said and walked out of there to finish my remaining work.

Agastya came to meet us too and I served both the boys. I served both of them breakfast and went into the bathroom to finally take the bath. I found six pots of water and a soft chuckle released through my mouth.

I stripped and sat down to take a bath. I washed my oily hair too and went out wrapping it in a towel and wearing my normal, homely clothes inside the cottage.

My trunk awaited there filled with royal clothes and jewellery. I took out a parrot and pink-coloured attire and went behind the partition to change. But, before that I folded the blanket, the bed sheets and the mattress.

Uff.

Unlike the last time, I was slightly excited to go back to the Kingdom. Everyone would be waiting for me. A tiny smile appeared on my face and I tied my wet hair in a loose bun before stripping my clothes down.

I slipped into that heavy skirt and tied it firmly around my waist.

And, by the way, I stripped my blouse and put on the new one, I heard the door open.

"Who is this?" I immediately asked placing my hand on the chest.

"Abhi," he replied from the other side and I inhaled a breath of peace.

"I am changing. Do not come here," I declared and tried to pull the shoulders up before trying to tie the strings of it.

But, as with all the time, I failed terribly and sighed deeply. I heard him doing something with his trunk and I bit my lip before calling him.

"Abhi, can you help me a little?" I asked, and he replied in a moment.

"Of course," his voice sounded slightly rough. He must have caught a slight cold.

"Come here," I muttered.
