I first got the idea of writing a poetry manuscript two to three years ago. At first the poems I wrote were based on the experiences of women at certain stages of their lives. Three stages, hence the title "Triplicity," of being daughters, mothers and sisterhood. It has evolved since then to also depict female empowerment. The misogynistic culture we live in. As well as the unfortunate and not uncommon dichotomy in our sisterhood.

So far, I have 61 pages of notes and poems to sift through in order to assemble the manuscript. It'll be my second poetry book. The first, "Can You Catch My Flow?," received a publishing contract but I decided to self publish instead.

I've yet to come to a final decision to enter "Triplicity" to a poetry contest and or publisher or press or self publish again. The four poems below are from the manuscript & were previously published online by Feminine Collect.
