"Superboy!" Robin tossed batarangs towards a few death-bots, as the batarangs stuck onto their metallic skin, the batarangs would beep a couple of times before exploding, destroying the death-bots.

 "Woah, thanks, Robin!" Superboy channeled his power, his eyes flashing red, his heat vision shooting the death-bots behind Robin, saving him from possible doom.Superboy stared at Robin, holding a smirk and a raising eyebrow, waiting for Robin to say 'thank you'.Robin sighed and rolled his eyes collectively, "Thank you, Superboy..." He'd cross his arms, all the death-bots they have been fighting were all destroyed, robot parts everywhere."How dare you, brats!" Robin and Superboy turned around, looking at the person they were here for, a scientist named Dr. Robotic.

 "You dare believe you could destroy my precious toys! HOW DARE YOU! GS-13, SK-99, DESTROY THEM!" Two 16ft death-bots appeared out of nowhere, looking down at Superboy and Robin with flashing red eyes, they were armed like the rest of the death-bots, but easily harder to take down."Superboy, maneuver 7-" Superboy flew towards the death-bots, not even listening to Robin's plan.

 Reeling his fist back, ready to smash it to the GS-13 death-bot, but the bot easily swat the boy of steel away like a fly. Superboy landed on his feet, skidding on the ground, causing rock and dirt to fly in different directions. Superboy smiled, firing his heat-vision towards the GS-13 bot, his heat-vision wouldn't penetrate the death-bot but kept firing anyways, the GS-13 droid walking closer and closer to the boy."C' mon you big piece of--" Superboy struggled, trying to penetrate the death-bot with his heat-vision, adding more and more power, clenching his fist and shouting.

 The GS-13 death-bot was getting pushed back by Superboy heat-vision, but it was still not enough to go through the death-bot, still continuing to fire, but he couldn't keep going, he was clearly getting tired.

 This gave Robin a chance to prepare an effective attack."Almost..." Robin would be evading the SK-99 death-bots, trying to prepare an attack that will defeat both of the giant bots. "Got it!" Robin collided into a wall, the force of the SK-99 smash was strong. Robin got back up, smirking, "Time to eat you fucking robots." Robin ran towards the death-bot that Superboy was fighting, attracting the SK-99 bot to follow him.

 "SUPERBOY!" Robin rushed towards Superboy, Robin took out a few batarangs while the SK-99 bot came along, these batarangs were basically an electrocution device, it'll have enough voltage to obliterate both of the bots, but only for one, so Robin had to get the SK-99 bot near the GS-13 bot so he can get a both of them, while only aiming for one."R-Robin, I don't know how long I can hold this f-for..." Superboy was getting weary, he wouldn't be able to keep this up forever, he was already feeling woozy, his vision becoming blurry. "Just a little bit closer..." The other bot was getting closer and closer.

 "NOW!" Robin tossed the electrocution batarangs towards the GS-13 death-bot, shocking it to oblivion, "SUPERBOY DO IT!" Superboy shouted, using his full power, his heat-vison was enough to make the GS-13 bot collide into the other, the volts chaining into both the bots now, the concentrated volts were enough to destroy the giant bots into oblivion.Superboy would be panting hard, clearly out of breath, falling onto his knees, he couldn't see clearly as of now, the heat-vision causing a strain on his sight."You alright?" Robin kneeled down to check on Superboy, he was a bit worried about his friend.

 "Y-Yeah, I'm fine, we gotta bring this guy to justice, c' mon," Superboy smirked, sweating as well. "Alright, bluebird, let's end this-" Superboy eyes went wide, Robin was shot.

 "ROBIN!" Superboy rushed to his friend, he was bleeding heavily. He was shot at his abdomen."If those bots can't kill you brats, then I'll just end it myself!" Dr. Robotic shouted, aiming his gun at the boy of steel. Superboy irises turned from his normal ocean blue color to crimson red, "HOW DARE YOU!" Superboy voice was enough to send the mad scientist back, his back colliding into the wall. As soon as Dr. Robotic opened his eyes, Superboy was standing in front, of him, looking down at with anger in his eyes, he'd grab the scientist throat, lifting him up."L-Let m-me g-go!" Dr. Robotic was struggling for air, he couldn't escape this, Superboy grip was too strong for the human.

 "You just killed my best friend! I'll turn you into DUST!" Superboy voice echoed, he was ready to kill the mad scientist but remembered everything his father taught him, Superboy irises returned to his normal blue color, dropping the scientist but not before knocking him out by flicking his forehead.

 "Y-You did well.." Robin said weakly, covering his bleeding wound with his arm, Superboy was surprised, the bullet should've killed him, or at least that's what he thought."C' mon, don't think one lucky shot was enough to kill me, it'll take more than that," Robin smirked, they have completed this mission. Time had passed, police officers arrived to take Mr. Robotic to Stryker's Island Penitentiary.

1 week later.

Nathan and Luke were walking with each other, heading to Hannah's house, "How're you feeling?" Luke asked his best friend, a bit worried about him. "It doesn't hurt, trust me, I've had worse, I should be asking how're you feeling, your vision doing better," Nathan asked. "Yeah, it's better, just took a little recuperating, y' know." Nathan chuckled, shaking his head, "Oh boy.."

Luke looked down onto the pavement, his smile faded.

"Hey, you okay?" Nathan asked his friend, his hands deep in his pockets. "Y-Yeah..." Luke sighed, "C' mon, just tell me, Luke." Luke looked at Nathan, "Okay, but promise me you won't tell anyone." Nathan nodded, assuring his friend that his secret his safe with him.

"I-I think I really like Hannah.." Luke said quietly, but still enough for Nathan to hear him. "Knew it, it was pretty obvious, the way you act around her, I'm surprised that she hasn't figured it out yet," Nathan smirked, playfully punching his friend on the arm.

Luke chuckled, "What if she rejects me, I mean she is a legit goddess, their way better guys more deserving of her.". "Hey, don't talk like that, you're Lucus Kent, you're a superpowered tank that can take a lot for his age, don't doubt yourself, man."

"Thanks, Nathan, I love you man." Luke smiled, raising his hand up for a fist-bump, Nathan returned it, fist-bumping him, "Yeah man, you and me, from beginning to end."

Before they knew it, they arrived at Donna's apartment, Hannah lived at the apartment, being Donna's roommate. Nathan knocked on the door, waiting for someone to open the door, they notice the doorknob was turning, someone opening the door.

"Hey guys, you made it!" Hannah said, sounding excited that her best friends arrived at her house, she thought that they come up with an excuse to avoid coming.

"Well, come inside," Hannah told her friends.

Luke nodded and walk inside first, Nathan walked after him but paused, staring at Hannah who was staring at him back, Hannah smiled and gave Nathan wink before walking off. Nathan was confused at first but suddenly remembered what happened a week ago on his mother's birthday.

He almost kissed her.

"Ah...shit."
