Tails' POV

I was at my workshop fixing up the X-Tornado. I was enjoy myself, fixing up and making machies but... something was missing... I was finished fixing the X-Tornado's engine after a malfunction 4 years ago... the malfuction that nearly caused... Trinity's death... I dusted of my red baseball cap and switched in round so my bangs stick out. In case you haven't guess, I'm no longer 8 years old, I'm now 16. I have grown those last 8 years, I also am wearing a red and white polo shirt with red stirpes going across the front, blue pants, red and white shoes and also red goggles on my red cap. *sigh* I still wish I could figure out what was missing in my life, then Sonic, Amy, Knuckles and Zeta came in. Sonic and Amy were holding hands and I chuckled, 8 years ago Amy was chasing Sonic, but now that she stopped, Sonic can't live without her and I was surprised that Knuckles and Zeta are dating as well. Then Sonic spoke to me.

Sonic: Hey Tails, how you doing?

Tails: Fine Sonic...

Amy: You don't sound so, something wrong?

Tails: *sigh* Kinda...I'm feeling a little... empty...

Zeta: I think I know...your thinking about someone, huh?

Tails: *blushing* Maybe...

Sonic: *evil smirk* Is it... Triz?

I blushed, maybe even redder than Knuckles' fur.

Knuckles: *laughing* You hit the hammer on the head Sonic!

Tails: No I'm not! Besides, I haven't seen her since...

Zeta: Since the plane malfuntion 4 years ago.

Tails: *nodding sadly* Right.

Knuckles: Tails don't beat yourself up about that, Triz's still well and alive after that accident.

Tails: But...

Amy: But what?

Tails: I felt guilty after that accident and...avioded her because of that for the last 8 years.
Sonic, Amy, Zeta and Knuckles: Oh...

Tails: I have been thinking about her those last 8 years but...I didn't have the guts to tell her how I felt...

Amy: I seen her around, she's got a job in a mechanics repair shop fixing cars and stuff.

Tails: Wow, I didn't know Trinity became a mechanic.

Sonic: That's what happens when you avoid her after all these years.

I blushed again.

Tails: I though she will be mad after that accident, I could of nearly killed her.

Sonic: *grabs Tails hand.* Come on Tails, we'll take you to her.

Amy: Yeah, she saw me on time and said she forgave you after that accident.

Tails: *blushing* Really?

Zeta: Really...

Knuckles: Let's go.

3rd Person POV

They all left my workshop and to a mechanic shop somewhere in Station Square. They all saw someone under a red Covet, fixing it, when the person came out, they saw it was Trinity, she is now 15 years old. Her hair and ears are longer, her hair is in a long ponytail and her right eye is covered by a bang and secured with a blue ruffle, she is wearing a white strap shirt that shows out her back, light blue jeans that are a little untidy on her, covered in a few oil spots an dark blue chocker and light blue sneakers. She looked at the group but Tails was hiding behind Sonic.

Amy: Hey Triz!

Trinity: Hi Amy, hey everybody!

Knuckles: Heya Triz!

Zeta: Sup sis!

Sonic: Hey Triz!

Trinity: Hey! so guys, what brings you here to the garage?

Sonic: An old friend of yours is here to see you...

Sonic moved and revealed Tails to her.

Tails: *blushing* Hi Trinity, long time no see...

Trinity: T-T-Tails?!

Tails: Hi...

Trinity came over and hugged Tails.

Trinity: *sobbing* Tails, I missed you after all these years!

Tails: You did?!

Trinity: Yeah, I knew you felt guilty after that accident. I never stopped hopping I'll see you again.

Tails: *dries her eyes* Don't worry...I'm here now.

The others give sly smiles and said...

Sonic: We'll leave you two alone...

They left, leaving Trinity and Tails alone.

Tails: They are kinda right...we have a lot to catching up to do.

Trinity: *nods* After I finish up here, let's go to the park.

Tails: *nods* OK.

Later after Trinity was finished, they went to the park, Tails and Trinity got ice-creams and walked about the park, then as the sun was going down.

Tails: Trinity, I'm glad we found each other after those years.

Trinity: I know, you were avoiding me because you though the plane accident was your fault.

Tails: Yeah and... I was thinking about you... I always was after that accident.

Trinity: Me too.
Tails: I felt empty after all those years.

Trinity: Same here and *blushing* Tails?

Tails: Yeah?

Trinity: I have to admit...my thoughts about you...*blushing even more*...turned into feelings...

Tails: *blushing* What kind of feelings?

Trinity: Like...*blushing an extremely red*... Love...

Tails: *blushing an extremely red* I admit... I feel the same way...

Trinity and Tails looked in each others eyes, then after what seemed like an eternity but acually 2 minutes, they kissed each other and time sorta standed still for them. Both Trinity and Tails had thier eyes closed, the after 6 minutes of kissing, they stopped.

Tails: I love you Trinity.

Trinity: I love you too Tails.

They both looked at the sunset holding each other in thier arms in a very strong and everlasting love.
