The next day, Tails woke up in his workshop. He brushed his teeth, combed his fur and tails, and went downstairs. He made waffles for himself and starts eating them. He was thinking about where to take Trinity today. "Hmm..." he thought. He then had an idea. "I know! The park. It's really peaceful there and I'm sure Trinity will be very comfortable!" He ate the rest of his waffles and flies towards Trinity's house.

With Trinity, she was in her room, feeling depressed, and secretly, heartbroken. She sighed. "Tails... I secretly have a crush on you..." Then, she heard a knock on her room door. It was her mother, Victoria Inue, came in her room.

"Trinity? Is something wrong, dear?"

"I'm just depressed, Mom" Trinity replied. Victoria hugged her for comfort.

"I know you're depressed of Tails going out with Cream... But I'm sure he'll take you out sometime because he cares for you."

"How do you know?" Trinity questioned.

"I know Tails" Victoria replied with a smile. "I used to take care of Tails when he was just a baby fox cub. He really does care for you, Trinity. He doesn't want you to get hurt... not at all."

"Really?"

"Yes, really."

"Thanks, Mom!" Trinity hugged her and Victoria smiled. They then heard the doorbell ring.

"I'll get it." Victoria went to the door. She saw Tails at the front porch. "Tails, welcome dear."

"Hi, Mrs. Inue" Tails waved. "Is Trinity home?"

"She certainly is." Vanilla turned. "TRINITY! TAILS IS HERE!" Trinity was shocked and went down the stairs and saw him.

"T-Tails?" She stammered.

"Hi, Trinity." Tails smiled. She walked towards him. "Do you want me to take you out?" Trinity was shocked, but then she got serious.

"But, aren't you dating Cream?" She reminded him. "You don't want her to be heartbroken, do you?" Tails remembered, but didn't care.

"Come with me and I'll tell you something." Trinity thought for a moment, then sighed in defeat.

"Alright, fine." Tails smiled and went out with Trinity. She waved bye to her mother and off they went.
