My Ex-Man's Got a New Girlfriend
Bebe stopped and placed her hands on her hips.
"Token," she replies snidely, as she turns around to look him over.
Token's face is stern, and he looks unimpressed by her.
"Do you have something against gay people?" Token asks, "Is that why you did what you did."
Bebe felt her heart rate pick up, but left her face completely unaffected. Wouldn't that be horribly ironic? "No," Bebe admits truthfully. "I took my revenge on him for thinking he can leave me," for someone way better than me goes unsaid and unheard- and on Token's part, unknown.
Token rolls his eyes- probably the only time Bebe's ever seen him do it. It sets the tone for their conversation: awkward and unnerving.
"Don't tell anyone about them."
Bebe nearly laughs, "Uh... most people practically already know that their gay for each other. It's not a secret, you know. I don't know what you're worried about, dear-"
"Okay," Token laughs dryly holding up one of his hands, "don't think you can start this act with me. I'm not going to fall for it. You're not my... type." Token pauses, "They'll come out when their ready. Just leave them alone."
Bebe laughs and tosses her hair, "Yeah, sure," and begins to walk away, "Talk to me when you have something better to say- or better yet," Bebe looks over her shoulder smugly, "Don't talk to me at all! Toodles."
