The timeline will be a bit different than in the movie. The movie was probably like 3-4 day and this is gunna be like a full week maybe more. Just to let you know :)

Trevor sighs and leans his head against the car window. A blur passes by his window startling him. He watches as the person roller-skating does a spin before calmly rolling away, laughing as their co-workers applaud them. Another person rolls by them backwards, grabbing their hand and spinning them. The person looses their balance and falls to the ground. The girl who spun them giggles and helps them up, handing them something.

"If you're not going to take any orders, you could at least bring this into the kitchen." Lucky says.

Y/N puts the back of their hand to their forehead dramatically. "Oh, but, dear me. I just fell onto this concrete and scraped my knee. I can't walk."

Lucky rolled her eyes with a smile. "You're standing perfectly fine. I get you're probably tired from working all day so I wont tell our manager that you're slacking off."

Y/N takes the order and pats Lucky's cheek. "You wouldn't tell him anyways. You enjoy working with me too much." They say before rolling inside.

Trevor watches from inside the car. He licks his lips before gaining the courage to go inside and get a resume. "I'll be right back."

"Wha-oh." Callie goes back to resting her head on her hand once she see's what her son was looking at.

Trevor takes a seat at the counter once he gets a sheet, filling it in. He looks up when someone stands in front of him on the other side of the counter. He was a bit disappointed when he saw it was the girl who spun the person and not the person themselves.

The girl had her back faced to him, clipping up orders. The cooks pretend to throw up some meat. She just rolls her eyes. Trevor's heart leaps into his throat when he sees the person rolling his way.

"Hey, Lucky. Guess who actually did scrape their knee when they fell."

"Don't be a big baby. Its just a scrape."

The person scoffs and rolls to the other side of her. "You owe me something. Like candy."

"Y/N, I earn minimum wage. I can barely afford gas."

"You don't have a car?"

"Exactly." Lucky nods and walks back outside. Y/N huffs and spins the order rack.

"You and you're sweet tooth, Y/N. Always wanting candy."

"Shut up." They say, giving them a small glare.

Trevor takes a deep breath. "Cool place."

Y/N turns around, leaning their back on the counter. They look at Trevor before pulling their lips back in a tight smile. "I... It's not mine?"

"I know it's not yours." Trevor says. Y/N gives him a weird look. "I-I mean, you look pretty young to own a business."

Y/N nods slowly, a small smile on their face. "Okay..."

"Oh! I, uh, saw the sign out front. Help wanted?" Trevor pushes the paper forward, while Y/N walks up the the other counter. "I can be helpful."

"Sweet. I'm tired of working full day shif-" Y/N cuts off as they look over the sheet. "You put the word friendly with a smiley face under experience?" Y/N looks at Trevor. "I cannot say that the big boss will agree with you in calling that experience."

"I-I didn't really... know what to put. It would be more of a quality, i guess."

Y/N shrugs, standing back up. "Alrighty. And you are how old?"

Trevor hesitates. "Seventeen." Y/N lets out a breathy laugh. "Think you can put in a good word for me?"

"I have a lot of good words." Y/N smiles. "Which ones do you want me to use?"

"Ones that'll get me hired?" Trevor responds, smiling back.

"Hey, Y/N." A guy rolls up, grabing Y/N's arm. "Some imbecile just tipped me five bucks to see you do a spin on roller-skates."

Y/N rolls their eyes. "Dude, what'd I say about using me to get tips."

"Last time. Please."

"Fine. You're giving me three bucks from the five you got, though."

"Two." The guy crosses his arms.

"Four." Y/N challenges.

The guy scoffs. "Okay, okay." He gives Y/N three bucks and rolls out. Y/N waves at Trevor, following their coworker.

"My name's Trevor!" He calls.

"Y/N!"

"My name's Trevor." One of the cooks mimics him.

"Ones that'll get me hired." The other says, pointing at him. "Dude, that was great. You really have a chance with them. For sure."

Trevor sighs, pressing his lips together and looking at the door Y/N walked out of.
