How Ratings Work

As all of you can see, I give each book a rating out of ten. This rating is based on your cover, blurb, grammar, tense, sentence phrasing, and overall appeal of your book to me as a reader.

Here is what the ratings mean:

1-2: Not impressed at all. You really need to step up your game and make your book better, or probably rewrite it

3-4: Flawed. Your book has some very obvious flaws in it, and needs to be fixed quite a bit.

5-6: Okay. Your book is readable, but there are certain concerns that you certainly have to address if you want it to find a lot of success here.

7-8: Impressive! Your book really caught my eye and I liked it, but there are certain tiny things here and there that you can change to make it better.

9-10: Excellent! You are certainly going to find success here as an author, and I barely have any advice to give you at all! Your book is a work of art and is fantastically written.

Note: I do not give a 10/10 on principle, but might just make an exception someday.

Another note: DO NOT compare your score with that of someone else's in completely different genres. Your scores are also based on how your book compares with other books in that genre
