When I first opened this book, I noticed that there was a small section at the beginning. This section would do better as the blurb of the book instead of the opener, as it is more intriguing than the one it currently has. 

Though I really like the idea of the story, the blurb and cover are both quite bland and seems like your typical romance novel or chick-flick. 

Moreover, the first chapter was quite messy as the dialogues were not separated properly and the emotions of the characters are just not seen or felt by the reader. Additionally, the first chapter has to be the one to draw readers in and hence has to be very spicy and have a lot of essence. Instead, it was very confusing and a reader would not be able to follow it unless they really concentrated.

My advice for the author would be to rewrite the first chapter and give it a bit of the flair I know they possess. 

Please do not be discouraged by this review. I know you have a lot of potential and will unlock it. Otherwise, I would not even be giving you suggestions. If you want, I would be happy to review it again and erase this one when you have made changes. :)
