I must say, as a lover of Mystery/Thriller books, I was very excited about this one. The idea behind it really pushed me to read it, and I was quite excited. The cover is quite nice, but the sheer amount of stickers prevents one from taking the book seriously. Unless the award is from a Watty or 'The Fiction Awards', I do not like more than one or two stickers on a book. 

What I noticed first about the writing style was that despite being descriptive, it lacked depth, imagery, and foreshadowing. A Mystery/Thriller book should send chills down your spines and this one just does not do that. It is far too blunt and seems more like a narration of a story than a novel. 

Though the characters and plot seem to have been thought-out pretty well, the story just lacked that flair that helps one envision the events. Despite a few readers' comments that they could picture the scene, I really could not. Imagery and word choice is essential. 

Another thing that I would suggest to the author would be to remove the picture versions of the chapters. The whole adding-gifs-everywhere-in-a-story prevents anyone from taking your book seriously, especially when it belongs to such a serious genre. The chapters with the gifs just seemed corny and an unnecessary means to get more votes and reads. 

The grammar and punctuation of the story seemed fine as far as I read it. 

Please do not be discouraged by this review. I am trying to show you ways in which you can improve your work. Congratulations on all of your awards. Keep writing and improving. I am sure you will find success here someday.
