The very opening sentence of this book had me hooked- perhaps because it reminded me of the spy books I used to read as a kid and brought a wave of nostalgia which washed over me. 

I thoroughly enjoyed the first chapter of this book, and found it quite beautifully written. The author has certainly done an excellent job of writing, and I can tell that the rest of the book will be just as good if not better. 

If I had more time on my hands, I would definitely read the rest as I am quite interested in it despite having read only one chapter. 

If I may say this though, certain elements of the wording must be changed as the main characters, who are straight, are said to be looking at each other with 'male attraction' or 'female attraction' or something of the sort. This might seem very inconsiderate and offensive to the LGBT+ audience, even though the intent is not so. 

Another thing that I noticed was that for what seems to be such a wonderfully written book, the cover does not showcase its uniqueness and could throw some readers off. 

Other than that, great job! I look forward to reading more when I get time.
