Past:

Lim Chang Kyun is part of a Korean gang that works against the government and eventually is chased by them in Japan. He fights for freedom and is rebellious. He escapes to South Korea and gets into a severe accident. He wakes up in 100 days, forgetting all his past. He returns to Japan for a trip but is caught, not knowing his past and is arrested for it. He is in prison for two years with a 6 young men group known as Rebellious. They tell him of his past but he has no clue what they say because of his forgotten memory. They then make up a new past for him, invited him back into the group, and escapes from prison. They flee back to South Korea and they work under an agency to also work against Japan. They change their name to MX, Monsta X, because they are monsters and they also like the letter X because it is cool and it is in every gang name in movies. Chang Kyun realizes he is known at cracking codes and turns into a hacker for the group and best at fighting with a knife and gun. They do everything they can to bring the government down. They are at war, and he goes under the I.M as his code.

He fell in love with a girl that was in his group as well. There were three girls, all of them were Japanese. But one of them falls in love with him and they begin a dangerous kind of love. Yet, the government finds their identity and they begin to attack their site. They all run away but the six members get caught, the two girls are kidnapped and the couple runs away to South Korea with the help of Rebellious. They promise to return to Rebellious once they find them.

But they get into an accident and they promise to find each other as they are separated. But they forget their memories of each other.

< Lim Chang Kyun POV >

I hear beeping noises and talking and feel the air conditioner in the room. I can't stand up, move, or open my eyes. But I hear these voices, "Once he opens his eyes, keep an eye on him. Pretend that you're his friend." I hear footsteps and door closing. I don't feel like anyone is near me, so I wait for a few minutes and I try to open my eyes very slowly.

I feel my fingers tingle and I start to move them. I slowly open my eyes and see a blurry vision of a light above. And I couldn't believe my eyes. I sit up slowly as I look around my room. I see the beautiful sun and the sky. I couldn't believe I was sleeping for so long. The doctors come in and tell me that I was sleeping for 100 days and that I have no guardians but a "friend".

I recover home after a week of staying in the hospital with my "friend" who is also my roommate. I don't trust him as much because of the conversation I overheard him. I decide to take a trip to Japan alone and in private because of my friend. He keeps mentioning Japan and I always wanted to go. I feel like I've went before I've got the accident. I pack my things and grab a ticket and run out of the house quietly. My friend wasn't home and he called me where I was and I told him I was going to Busan. I turn off my phone and board the plane and arrive at Japan.

However, the problem was that the government was looking for when I arrived. The security is no joke and they handcuff me as soon as they see my face. i have no clue to what's going on so I run out of the airport with only my backpack. I leave my luggage in the front desk and promise to receive it once I return. I run out into the streets and they seem familiar, like I find all the twists and turns into alleyways and find myself hidden between a trash can and a small shop. They run past me and I go through a heavy crowded mall as I slip into a department store filled with clothes.

I run over to the guys section, grab out a white tshirt, some blue jeans, and change into some black Nike and put on a gray hoodie over. I put on a pair of dark big sunglasses and a black hat over my head. I walk to the register and pay for my clothes. I then realize I could get some makeup done, and quickly press on some makeup. I noticed a few days ago that an Kpop idol looks like me so I pretend to be like him. I grab some earphones off the shelf and stuff it into my pocket, realizing I was stealing. I feel guilty but I have no choice. I connect the earphones into my iPod and stuff them into my pocket with my head down. Luckily, it grabs some attention, girls yelling that I am Sunggyu from Infinite or Ikon B.I or what not. They follow after me as I put on a black mask to cover my mouth and nose and they yell, "B.I!!!" or sometimes "Sunggyu Oppa!" I laugh to myself as I run out of the mall with girls chasing after me.

I run into a motel, where I use my name, Kim JunHo, I have no idea where that came from with a fake credit card I found in my wallet. I go into my room and lay down on my bed. What a long day, and then I sit back up. Realizing, I have been here before. I know the moves, I know how to steal properly, and I feel it in my heart, tingling. I resist this good feeling because I know I am being chased. I fall asleep on my bed but the next thing I know, the cops find me again and they lock me up this time in jail.

Someone reported me for stealing a pair of earphones, which was great. And I went against the government, which is another great because I don't know half the things they are talking about. They realized that my brain didn't have the memory and keep me in prison for 2 years and 3 months because they can't do anything about that. I walk towards my cell and see six guys already in the room. They push me inside, telling me to join my group of friends that I was supposed to be with.

They all run up to me, smiling, hugging, crying, hitting, and these emotions are pouring out as they speak. This one guy, he looks the oldest, says, "ChangKyun ah. We waited for you for 3 years. Where have you been?"

His name is Hyunwoo, Shownu for short. They all introduce themselves. I meet JooHeon, Kihyun, HyungWon, Wonho and Minhyuk. They tell me that we worked against the government, they helped me escape with this girl to Korea, where we apparently lived together for 2 years and got into an accident and thats when my life of forgotten life started. I couldn't believe myself. I was that kind of person, who looked for freedom and the first one into the battlefield. Also, I had this scar on my hip, which was a gunshot they say but my "friend" said that I cut myself with glass. I trusted these guys and that's how we were able to last for 2 years in prison.

But this is just the beginning of my story...

Momo is one of the fiercest girls but whenever she sees me, I see her hesitate. Today, she beats up Kihyun for talking about my name. She makes him into a bloody body and he backs into our cell. Everyone in the room look at her as she is angry but doesn't want to hurt anybody. Kihyun looks at me and shakes his head but I stand. I challenge her into a duel.
