I couldn't wait to get to Smith's and didn't waste any time when he opened the door. It hurt my arm but it also felt good to see him sprawled in his hallway. I dragged him to a chair and we exchanged a few words then I left. 

Smith watched us go with the lingering image of Hulk grinning at him.

On the way out I found a business and from the Mad maze Gallery and made a note to follow up.

All my ideas went up in smoke when Myna squashed my blackmail theory. Even the news from the Reverend Stein was a dead end. With trouble brewing between Chinatown and the mob there would be no muffins being distributed by anyone.

Brody was still on my major suspect list but I couldn't get any help from Lulu and she was plagued with more worries of her own.

Caroline was becoming disenchanted with my progress and I think it was only Hunk's grin that kept any hope of employment alive - even after I explained his interests.

Got back to the office to find it trashed and Daisy unconscious and beaten on the floor. Got her to the hospital and waited around until they made sure she was okay then they gave her a sedative to rest. We saw each other through the room window before she fell asleep.

I got hold of Billy to give him an update and let him know he'd better cover his backside. He already new and was raging at me. Met him for a coffee and we exchanged some words. Told him about Daisy and he backed right off.

He knew any arguing would be futile.

Billy gave me more headaches when he said he heard Lorne was gearing up to go after some NoLuks. Apparently AJ had been shot, was in critical condition and Madame Yu had been poisoned.

The hospital reports had come through the department along with the statement that AJ and Loren had been attacked by members of the NoLuks while on a date and after getting her safely home, he went to speak with Madame Yu about the members.

He found her poisoned and an overthrow of the Tong in progress. He was shot but one loyal friend helped him escape with Madame Yu. Billy also mentioned that Lorne was looking for me.

I needed to speak to Marion Frijole and make another visit to the Mad maze gallery.
