John's POV

  'Here it is' I thought as we pulled up to a large brown building surrounded by an even bigger courtyard. "Ready John?" My sister Harriet asked me from the front seat "as I'll ever be Harry." I replied. I grabbed my bags out of the trunk and Harriet helped me "remember, you're allowed to make friends here. You don't need to isolate yourself." She said "yeah whatever" I mumbled "go straight to the front desk and tell them your name." She instructed. I nodded and gave her a hug "bye, maybe I'll see you soon?" She nodded "I'll write to you if I can." She smiled and waved as I walked towards the large building.

 As I walked through the doors of St. John's, a million thoughts were racing through my head. Soon enough I found a room marked Main Office and walked up to the lady sitting at the front desk. "Um excuse me? I'm  a new student here? I'm John Watson." I said to her. She looked up from her computer and adjusted the glasses on her face "John Watson? Oh yes of course." She looked through a large portfolio of papers and took out a page with my name on it. "Here you go dear, you're in room 221B. It's upstairs last door on the right at the end of the hall." She smiled and handed me the piece of paper. "I'll have a student sent down to help you find it." She went over to her intercom and said "hello, yes Mr. Singer. Could you please send Mycroft Holmes down to the main office? No, he's not in trouble. Just send him down as quickly as you can please." She smiled again at me. 

 About five minutes later a tall, thin boy with a kind of reddish brown hair walked in "you wanted to see me Ms. Sinistra?" He asked, apparently not noticing me "yes Mycroft, this is John Watson. He's a new student here, he'll be staying in room 221B I trust you know where it is?" She said pleasantly. "Yeah." He nodded and led my to the door "come on Watson, let's go." I followed him out the door and through a maze of hallways. "What kind of a name is Mycroft?" I asked him. He whipped his head around "why? Do you have a problem with it?" He asked me with narrowed eyes "n-no, not at all. Just curious." I said stumbling back a little. His face relaxed a little as we reached a staircase. "Just up these stairs." He said as we climbed up them. "Here we are." He said as they reached a door marked 221B in brass letters. Mycroft knocked on the door "Sherlock? It's Mycroft. You have a new roommate." The door opened and Mycroft led John inside. "Here you go, I better go and get back to class. Sherlock! Come be sociable!" He called as he left the room.

 I walked a little farther into the room and and set my bags down on a neatly made bed. I looked at the opposite side of the room at a messy looking bed that was next to a desk covered in papers and notebooks along with a laptop. Then I looked at the desk next to my bed, which was also covered in papers. "What the?" I thought out loud. No sooner had I said this that a boy who looked slightly like Mycroft appeared almost magically behind me holding a steaming hot cup of coffee from the smell of it. 

 "Hello John Watson." He studied me for about ten seconds then looked back at my face "or would you like me to call you doctor Watson? Also, I wouldn't dog-ear your books. It ruins the pages, also how is Mycroft? What did you talk to him about? Besides his name. I love when people ask about it, he always get so upset about it." He smiled slightly at the last part "wait, how did you know my name and what I'm studying? And what Mycroft and I talked about? And the book pages?" I asked very confused "easy, your name is embroidered on your bags. Your medical books are peaking out." He pointed to my bag "and you have paper cuts on your hands as well as not all the pages in that book have their corners showing. As for Mycroft, everyone always asks about his name." He stated plainly as he took a sip of his coffee. "Pleased to meet you. The name's Sherlock Holmes." He nodded slightly
