"PSJ, drop the Carrington case, we've got a new project for you," ordered by man who he spoke to, but haven't seen his face ever since.
"Okay, got it. Who would be working on it then?"
"Someone from India I heard," he responded. "It shouldn't be a worry to you now. This new case you have to work on will be delicate. We would need a hundred and one attention from you. You have to drop anything because they are expecting a lot from you. You've been the best of the best agent since you've handled the Massimo case and that wasn't different from this one."
"Okay, so you're telling me I would be dealing with another crime group?"
"Yes, that's how it will go," he answered. "Are you going to accept this new case for you, PSJ?"
"What can I get in return?" PSJ asked.
"A lot," he answered which made him keen on knowing it. "If you're going to accept it, you need to visit the site and have to sign an NDA. You'll be getting all the details you need and what you will get in return. You got a two million reward for handling Massimo's case, right? I think you'll get triple or even more than that if you would get this done right."
"Can I ask what case is this all about?"
"That's what you have to know, PSJ. I'm just delivering the news to you. If you're not going to take it, someone else will and you will regret it. The Carrington's case shouldn't be in your hands right now. I think they knew what they were doing now so they were lowering the defense, but one shall rise after another, right? Now, it's time to let the world know what a Juventino is capable of."
"Yes, sir," PSJ muttered. "I'll be going to the site later."
"Of course, you will," he answered as if he was already expecting him to accept the offer without any hesitation. "See you soon, kid."
As soon as the call dropped, he knew he had to think of a new strategy for how he would handle this case. He had no idea what it was all about, but if it was something dangerous and far from what he had done in the past then it was about time for him to step up his game and let everyone know how menace he was on his field.
He looked at himself in front of the mirror. He was staying in a small apartment in the apartment—a place where no one would think someone like him would stay in a very crowded area. In doing his job, a lot is at stake, but he never failed once and he will continue proving the people higher than him and make him as powerful as they are. He didn't regret putting himself into this kind of situation which fueled him even more. It was something he was looking forward to every time he opened his eyes. The flare in his eyes burned even more knowing he could be a few million richer than he was today.
Later on, he suits himself up in a black bomber jacket and black pants. He was about to leave his cozy apartment when he forgot something else to pick up. He went back inside grabbed his black sunglasses and put them on. Once done, he went to their building's parking lot roared his motorbike out, and fled to the highway.
Running at the speed of sixty kilometers per hour, PSJ quickly arrived at the site where his bosses were staying. He removed his helmet, placed it on top of the steering wheel, and walked towards the building's front door.
He pushed the button and from the intercom, he announced his presence.
"Juventino," he responded.
A second later, the door opened. He knew exactly where to go. He met a few people along the way, but they knew PSJ had to meet their big boss so they were all directing him to where his office at. As soon as he reached their office, one of his boss's crew escorted him inside the elevator. PSJ stood behind him as he tapped the top floor button when in just a few moments, the elevator dinged as a sign that they had reached their destination.
The man walked out of the elevator first then PSJ followed him afterwards. He was only following his footsteps until he found their big boss sitting on a red bulky chair looking at the city view of Mexico City. As one of the tallest buildings in the city, it wasn't hard not to notice it.
"Good day, sir," he greeted.
His boss stood up and turned around to face him. His smile grew more as he found PSJ, one of the best agents to ever work for him. "Primitivo Sinforiano Juventino, I'm glad to see you again. . . Would you like to join me at this table?"
"Yes, sir," he answered politely.
He followed where his boss sat down. He sat down in front of the desk where his boss was.
"First of all, I would like to apologize if this was all of a sudden and that you need to drop the Carrington's case I know you've been working hard on it, but you'll be passing it to one of our members back in India. They will be looking closely at that case because I need you to work on this special case I got today."
"Which is what, sir?"
"The Orozco case," he announced, handing over a pile folder to PSJ. "Everything you need to know is inside this folder what you need to do. You can check it now and tell me what you think. I need an answer right away, Primo, or one of your agent friends will take the case from you."
He reached for the folder and opened it. There were a lot of papers in it, but pictures of a girl were included in it. At that moment, he knew what he needed to do. He found the NDA and the amount he would get if he would be able to finish the case.
Fourteen million pesos.
"I already made my decision, sir," PSJ stated. "I'll accept this case. I'll find Catalina Orozco, dead or alive."
