Inspired from a student in our school. I don't know that person much I only hear rumors, but ey I'm not saying that I believe those rumors, but the story's just fitting for this. So lezgo :>

~~~Evan's POV~~~

For years I've been here in school, I always though of the Murphy siblings and their friends to be perfect. And I really mean PERFECT. They had many friends who supports them, they never fight, they always got along. And they were extremely nice to everyone. 

I always thought of them to being super happy all the time, that they would never have gloomy days like mine. I always have blue days. I fail at everything, I tried talking to at least one of the Murphys. ( or Murphies ) But I ended up backing out because I knew I would fail. 

They are very nice siblings, and they are friendly though, I just really have a bad social anxiety. I can't walk up to them and just simply...talk. My brain process too much. 

Anyways, the bell just rang signaling that the class just ended. It was lunch break. I walk out of the classroom and out the school corridors. The school had a cafeteria, but I didn't know where to seat. I knew no one would want me on their table. 

But before I do go out, I got a glimpse of Connor  Murphy. One of the Murphys in school.He looks so cute. I uh...I mean...Yeah...uh....Going back....

I saw his sister as well walking up to him and waving hello and joining him walk up to the cafeteria. Avoiding any eye contact, I headed outside to a near by tree. And also an amazing tree! This is my favorite tree to be on when I'm at school. 

Did I mention I love trees so much? I love trees. Anyways I quietly ate here. I love that t's so peaceful. I get a perfect view of the orchard just across the school. And if I turn back, I get another perfect view of the cafeteria, where inside, is the Murphys. 

After lunch I do my usual normal ways and walk to the classroom to begin the afternoon classes. I sat at the back. It's Math class and I knew no one would ever sit with me, so I just sat in the back. But to my surprise, Connor Murphy sat next to me! 

"Hey! Evan right?" He said with a perfect smile. I didn't realize I was staring for about a minute. "...Right?" He said again. I shook my head to reality and smiled. "Uh..Yes. I'm Evan...Evan's my name..." I said gripping the hem of my T-shirt. 

"Well it's nice to meet you, I'm Connor." He smiled again and patted my shoulder. I smiled back and blushed. Oh wait...Did I mention I'm gay for him? I am super gay for him alright. After a few hours I would steal glances from Connor. Whenever he would turn I will look away quickly.

After classes it was dismissal time. I quickly walked out and went inside the school bus. I got a ride home and grabbed the keys. I opened the door, I expect my mom wouldn't be home because she's always at work. 

I went upstairs to change and get started with homework. I grabbed my phone and opened Instagram for a while. I saw pictures of Zoe and Connor's afternoon in the mall with their friends. They all looked so bonded and happy. Something I ever wanted. 

I wish I could be like that.

~Connor's POV~ 

Everybody thinks I live in a perfect life. I'm popular, I have friends, they think I have the best sister ever. In reality, It's not. I'm just in a world filled with fantasies. No matter how much I want everything about my life that other people know to be true, it's not because it will never will. 

When I go back home, I always have an argument with my sister. We always fight about our mistakes during the day. Our obvious fake smiles but somehow fools just about anybody. I would always point out that we shouldn't act like someone we're obviously not.

Because on what they think that we're so perfect in life, we're actually not. It all started in freshmen year. 

Me and my sister would always fight about something. I didn't have friends, I never had a boyfriend ( yes I'm gay ) or a clue(....Sorry...I...I can't help it xD ) . I was a complete looser. The only thing me and Zoe agreed on was that we were tired of being such a looser. 

One day we decided to act like we're so bonded and perfect. We 'bought' friends, we became popular. We all looked like we were so perfect. Every fight we would eventually have with me and Zoe, we would stop it and resume the fight at home, where everyone can't see. 

But even after all this, my crush can't even notice me. I think, because he wouldn't even look at me. I guess no matter who I am or what I am I can never get his attention. 

We were in the mall with my 'friends' and ate dinner with them. We had to take pictures just to make sure we had a good time, but again, obviously not. 

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The Next day~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It was lunch time and me and Zoe are about to have a fit. I can't take it anymore, I walked out before I could do anything violent or catch any attention. I ran outside the school and hid behind a near by tree and sat down.

I hugged my knees and slowly began to cry. I suddenly felt a presence beside me. I slowly moved my head toward someone who's beside me. I squinted my eyes because my vision was too blurry from crying. I examined who was beside me.

"Oh hi Evan." I said sadly. He looked at me and frowned. He placed a hand on my shoulder and slowly moved it up and down. "There there...Are you ok? Oh wait of course your not I'm so stupid for asking." He said as he moved a little closer. 

"No no it's ok." I said with a forced smile. "Uhm...If it's ok with you...uh..what's...wrong? I uhm..I n-never seen you cry before..." He said trying to wipe my tears. He was so gentle I wish I could just hug him to dry my tears away. 

"I...I can't tell you. If you knew who I really am, you would never see me the same way ever again." I said looking down. "Hey hey I d-don't judge." 

How could I tell him? No one knows except for the people who are involved. Everyone else thinks I live in a comfortable life, a life where I always dreamed of, but could possibly never have. 

I looked down and tried to think of what to say or how to start saying this. I said something really well thought of like "Uh...."

I looked around and began to look at him. I realized his eyes were so beautiful, and cute. I could stare at them forever. I also begin to realize that he was staring back at me. Then suddenly Evan placed a hand on my shoulder this time. 

"Hey..Uh...I-it's ok if you don't wanna tell me, since this is your life after all who am I to interject? ...I should...probably go. Bye Connor." I looked at him with wide eyes and grabbed his hand before he could walk away. 

"Evan wait...I kinda need some company right now." I said, suddenly being interested in my feet. Fortunately, he stayed and sat right back down with me. I slowly leaned on his shoulder and pretended I didn't realize what I was doing. 

I wanted to stay like this for forever. Even if my life was truly horrible, and devastating I would still have something to look forward to. I smiled at the thought, maybe I wouldn't mind telling the truth to anyone if he's with me?

"Hey Evan..." "Hm?" I slowly prepared myself. "Hey so uhm you...wanna...hang out?" 

~Evan's POV~

...Connor....Wait I'm right, right? THIS is Connor Murphy! The guy who has wonderful friends and a wonderful life...Asking....TO HANG OUT WITH ME. Although I would love a 'more than friends' hanging out I would always love to still be friends with him. Maybe I wouldn't feel so bad for myself.

"YES!" I covered my mouth. "I mean...uh...Yes." I said more softly. I blushed and looked away. He held my hand and help me pull up. "But don't we have to go to school? You know for afternoon classes?" I said worried. 

"Oh psh! Who cares about school anyway? When you go to work you don't need to know ALL the things you learned in school. Unless you're going to be a physicist and...Ok Author please stop watching the big bang theory!" I looked at Connor slightly confused.

"...What?" "I uh....Sorry...Let's go to...Oh! I know there's this orchard place that I know you'll love, come on!" He said smiling and ran while holding my hand pulling me with him.
