~Connor's POV~

I'm walking around just looking for some fresh air after smoking. I know funny right? Anyway, I didn't know where else to go, I know my parents would flip out if they knew this side of me.

I'm that emo kid in school. Always alone, I don't really have friends. I would scare them away, or they just don't really like me. 

I play my soundtrack and placed my earphones. The music plays, I placed it on shuffle. 'I float in a boat-'

I knew how this kid felt. No matter how much I try to be someone who's strong and helpful. Nobody wants me around, I look like a bully. I mean come on, if someone's pissing you off obviously you would be pissed off as well. 

I simply just fight back for my own protection. Though students in our school thinks that I was the one who started it. I continue to walk, trying not to shed in tears. Sometimes I feel so moody whenever I'm listening to music and smoking. 

I lift my hood over my head, to make sure nobody notices it's me. And that my tears are kept hidden. I try avoid any eye contact at all. I wouldn't want anyone to see me like this. I decided to walk to the park. It has plenty of trees, and if there are that means there's plenty of fresh air. Just perfect!

Once I walked in, I sat on a nearby bench still looking down. It was peaceful for some reason. There were only a few amount of people at the moment. I removed one of my earphones and try to relax. 

~Evan's POV~

What's life? Why am I heere? What is my purpose? If I have no purpose, nobody wants me, nobody likes me, anybody would fight me...Then...Why should I even be around them? Do I even deserve to be alive?

I have so many questions running inside my head...I couldn't make it stop. I decide to climb up the highest tree in the park, just to have a clearer mindset. I looked around trying to relax. Still the voices in my head kept telling me to do something I knew I would regret.

I looked down. I saw someone going inside the park. I couldn't see if it was a he or she. The hood was covering their face. I wanted a closer look, I must see who it is. For some reason I feel the urge to know who this is. 

I leaned forward. I kinda got a better view. I think it's a she, because she has long hair. But who am I to judge, what if it's a he that just have long hair. Suddenly, she looked up. I saw that she...was actually a 'he'.

Then after more moments of realization, he was Connor Murphy. The person who I have a crush with for years now! I can't believe he's heere. I leaned forward a little more...

Then I accidentally fell...

~Connor's POV~

I heard something fell off a tree, I decided to check out what it is. I secretly have a fascination on animals. If something fell, it might need my help. 

I ran to the place of where I thought I heard it from. After a few seconds I saw someone lying on the floor passed out. He was wearing a blue shirt. I freaked out and ran close to him. I flipped him over to see his face. He groaned in pain. I recognize his face all too well. It was Evan Hansen, the guy I always wanted to be with all my life.

I felt bad for him so I reached my phone and called the ambulance. "Hi Evan, it's going to be okay, I got you." I kissed his forehead. He was half conscious so I doubt he will ever remember this moment wen he wakes up, so I decided to kiss him on the lips. 

I hugged him close just to make sure nothing will hurt him while we wait for the ambulance. After a few minutes of waiting it finally arrived and took Evan with it. I wanted to come with them, but it would be so awkward when he wakes up.

~Evan's POV~

I slowly opened my eyes, trying to figure out where I was. The whole place was blue, I'm sitting on the bed. My mom on a chair across the room. I looked down on my arm, I saw it had a cast. As far as I know, I fell of a tree because of someone. 

"Evan, you're awake!" My mom said as she walked closer to me. I softly smiled at her and she smiled back. She placed her hands on my cast. 

"What happened? What did you do to fall off a tree?" She asked...
