Previously on Chapter 21

I can't believe Senku would say that to me. Didn't he know that I'm a human too... I have feelings! Why'd he say that?? How could he?

Y/N P.O.V

I stopped when I stand by the cliff. I take a seat and hug myself as I start to cry. I can't believe Senku... I can't believe he'd say something like that. Do I mean nothing to him? If that's what it is, then why'd he ask me out and told me he loved me in the first place?

Flashback

I was currently hanging out with Yuzuriha at my house. We were discussing about something when someone knocks by the front door. I turn my head to look at Yuzuriha.

"I wonder who that is..." I said. She just shrugged her shoulders. We got up from my living room's couch and make our way towards the door. I opened it to reveal Taiju. I stared at him in surprise.

"Oh, Taiju... what brings you here?" I asked. He smiles softly at me. He greeted Yuzuriha and turned to look at me. "Hey Y/N-Chan... can I talk to you for a sec?" He asked. I tilted my head, staring at him in confusion.

"Um, sure..." I said. It was a surprise for Taiju to want to talk to me. I thought he came to my house because he knows Yuzuriha is here, since she was the one he's been crushing on for... I don't really know how long.

Taiju leads me away somewhere. I noticed he was leading me to the park near my house. I turned to look at Taiju.

"Why'd you take me here?" I asked. He smiled at me and pointed somewhere. I turned my head to see Senku. I stared at him in confusion. "Okay... uhh. What's going on?" I asked.

Senku was holding something. I jump when there was a sudden firework. I turn my head to look at the sky. The firework starts to form random shapes. They seem to be custom made. Did Senku did all of this? And for what?

Senku walked over to me. "I made this fireworks for you... I hope you like it..." he said. I turned to look at him and turned to the fireworks again. One shot up and formed a shape, that looked a lot like heart. I stared at it in surprise.

"Y/N..." Senku said. I turned my head to look at him. He reaches out and gently grabbed my hand. "Uhh... I really like you, Y/N. Will you, be mine?" He asked. I stared at him in shock.

I didn't expect this to come from Senku. All these time, I thought he isn't into that kind of stuff. That's why I've always tried to brush the feelings I had for him aside.

"Of course, Senku... I like you too" I said. He smiled softly at me and wrapped his arms around me. I smiled to myself and returned his embrace.

End of Flashback

I choke out a sob at the memories. First he said he loved me, but then he broke my heart in two. Did I ever mean anything to him? What does this love means to him?

I feel something brushing my side. I turn my head to see P/N. He stares at me with his ears droopy, as if he understands what I'm feeling. I just gently wrap my arms around him, crying softly.

I flinch when I hear a growl. I turn my head to see lioness surrounding us. My eyes widened at the sight of them. They're the same ones that attacked us that day.

I stand up and backs away. P/N growls at them, but he knows he didn't stand a chance. The lioness start to come closer which makes the two of us cornered. We're standing by the cliff, ocean is beneath us. The current is quite strong. If we fall off, we won't be able to survive.

The lioness lunges forward. I let out a scream when my shoulder gets scratched. I clutch onto it with my free hand while the other still hold onto P/N. I can feel my blood starts dripping out of the wound. My vision starts to get a little blurry, as I back away from the lionesses.

The ground beneath me suddenly breaks. I let out a scream, while holding onto P/N. We fall into the ocean. I struggled to stay on top of the surface. P/N tries his best to help me swim.

My lungs feels burns because of the lack of oxygen. My vision starts to get blurry. The last thing I see is seeing a figure jumping into the water, then I give in to the darkness.

I sprung up into a sitting position, coughing up the water in my lungs. "Breathe, Y/N... just breathe" someone said, gently patting my back. I turn my head slightly to look at the person. But I can't see who it is, due to my sight being very blurry.

"You're okay... you're fine. You're save now. Just get some rest... I've got you" the person said. I can feel my head feeling a little dizzy. I can my body getting picked up. I just relax my body, leaning my head on the person's shoulder. I close my eyes, letting myself drift off to sleep.

Time-skip

I open my eyes slowly. The first thing I see is the rocky ceiling above me. I feel a lick on my cheek and turn my head to see P/N. I wince in pain when the wound on my shoulder starts hurting. P/N nudge his nose against my cheek, looking at me with a worried gaze. I give him a small smile as I gently caress his head.

"I'm okay, P/N... where are we, buddy?" I said. I slowly move to sit up. The last thing I remember is falling off a cliff after being cornered by a group of lionesses. Someone saved me from being drown, but I can't see who it was because of my blurry sight.

"I see you're finally awake..." someone said. I turn my head to the sound. My eyes widened in shock, when I realize who the person was.

"T-Tsukasa..." I said. He walks over to me, making me back away a little. I glance at P/N who seem rather calm at his presence. I turn my head to look at Tsukasa again.

"Was it you? Were you the one who saved my life?" I asked. He smiles and nods his head. I look down and notice I'm wearing something different. I panicked a little, realizing someone have seen me naked.

"It's okay... the one who changed you is your friend" Tsukasa said. I turn my head to look at him. "Who?" I asked. He smiles at me. "Yuzuriha, who else..." he said.

"Does that mean I'm..." I start, not really knowing what to say. But Tsukasa seem to know what I'm trying to say. "You're in my Empire. I brought you here after saving you from drowning" he said.

I just turn my head away from him, trying to process the news given to me. I ran away after Senku said those stuff, getting attacked by lioness... and now I'm in the Tsukasa's Empire. So much happened in such short amount of time. It's making my head hurt.

"How long was I out?" I asked, turning to look at Tsukasa. "A few days. You were sick too..." he said. I just nod my head at what he said. I look away from him, not knowing what to say.

"If you're still feeling sick. You should get some rest. I'll let Yuzuriha and Taiju know you're awake. They will be coming later" he said. I just nod my head. I feel too weak to speak.

He help me lay down. He gently pulls the blanket up to my chest. He moves my hair away from my face and smiles at me. He stands up and walks out of the cave, leaving me here on my own.

I just turn my head to look at the rocky ceiling. There are thoughts that are bothering my mind. He found me near the cliff after I fell. How'd he know I was in trouble in the first place, and where I was? Did he... stalked me? But why?
