Meanwhile at the Mukami Mansion, the Mukamis have been searching for Asami endlessly in the nighttime. Ever since Asami ran away from home, things have changed in the Mukami mansion where the Mukami brothers became worried sick about Asami especially Ruki who is constantly searching for her nonstop.

While searching for her, Ruki and Yuma are outside from the backyard of the mansion where Kou came up to Ruki panting from running around the mansion.

"Did you find her yet?"

"*pants* No...*pants* *pants* no sign of her yet..."

Kou replied panting breathlessly.

"Well none of us can't sense her presence anywhere. Where could she be gone to?"

Yuma asked.

"Don't know...."

Damn...how the hell did she disappeared from a split second?

Ruki thought as he looks back at the times with Asami.

****************Flashback**************

It was back in the mansion when Asami is living with them before she ran away. Ruki is in his room sitting on a chair reading his book until he heard a light knock on the door.

"Come in."

The door then revealed the sweet and innocent brunette with Hazel eyes named Asami who came into the room with a sweet smile.

"Hi Ruki san, I just came in to drop you some baked goods that I made in food prep back in night school."

"Mhm go ahead and put it on my desk please."

He ordered as Asami goes to his desk to put a bag of sweets on his desk, she saw a glance of a picture of Ruki as a child with his family.

"Ummm Ruki, what's th-"

Just before she asked, Ruki came up to her and swiped the picture from her hand and put the picture down gently on the small table.

"There's no need for you to ask that."

"But why? I just wanna know who are those people that you're with. Are those your parents Ruki san?"

She asked curiously as Ruki didn't respond to her question refusing to look back at his childhood.

"I-It's nothing important Asami."

"Yes it is, I told you my backstory and now it's your turn to tell me!"

She pouts adorably with Ruki slightly blushed by how adorable she is, he reluctantly sighs.

"Very well, but you have to keep this to yourself once we're done here."

"Yay! I promise won't tell anyone Ruki san!"

She grinned as Ruki sighed.

"Well then, let's start off with the picture that you've saw. Yes, those are my parents, and....it's hard to explain, but...we were once a loving family....."

He explained sadly as Asami tilt her head curiously.

"Really?"

"Yeah, and..."

Ruki then lightly chuckled.

"Let's just say that I was once a spoiled brat, I would always treat others like dirt and act like I was better than anyone else...."

He grinned slightly as Asami stared at him innocently, but understands where he's coming from.

"I see, you were once an aristocrat I assume?"

She asked as Ruki responded with a nod.

"I was, until my life changes when my aristocratic life turns into bad luck when my father wasn't good at managing his business and finances to the point where it became bankrupt."

"Oh...I'm very sorry..."

She spoke sadly with empathetic Hazel eyes.

"It's fine, but my father is a kind and generous man, but despite his generosity, we lost everything we have and the servants left us after they beat me cruelly for how I treated them. Not only that but, my mother left my father for another man. At first, I love her because she gave me a note that says she loves me, so I stayed in my home after my father hung himself hoping that my mother will returned until I realized she never came back nor loves me."

He explained sadly holding back the pain that he went through as a child growing up.

"...I then went to live in the streets where I was mocked by other aristocrats and that's when I met my brothers at the orphanage who are tortured by the people from the orphanage. We then vow to escape from that hell place and escaped, but...we ended up in the worst situation when they burned us alive until we are granted with a second chance. That's when all of us are now vampires...."

He explained clearly as Asami looked at him sadly, but she reached out her hand and cupped his cheek smiling sweetly at him.

"I'm so sorry Ruki, you and your brothers don't deserve that kind of treatment. If I were there with you guys, I would've helped...."

She assured sadly as Ruki cupped her hand gently, he slowly forms a soft grin.

"Thank you Asami....."

Ruki then looked at the bag of sweets that she gave which he barely ate because he kept it as a memento. He then suppressed his loneliness when he lightly crushes the bag of sweets.

Damn Asami, why do you have to leave?

He thought as he remembered the good and bad times that he shared with the girl he deeply cares. Ruki has been in love with Asami since the moment she came in the Mukami mansion. Asami is the only in who can understand her clearly with so much empathy to the point where his love for Asami turned from platonic to unconditional.

Then Azusa appeared with his brothers.

"Ruki...I'm..back....."

"Mhm."

He then put then bag of sweets into his pocket.

"Have you found her yet?"

He asked sternly which Azusa responded with a slight shake from his head.

"No....she's..nowhere...to be....found...."

He replied with Ruki suppressing his frustration and sadness with Yuma concern with Ruki's strange behavior.

"Yo Ruki, let's just calm down. We're going to be late for school anyway."

Yuma assured as Ruki sighed a bit irritably and nod.

"Fine, but we'll continue the search after school is over understand?"

"Right."

As the Mukamis agreed to find her again, the headed back to the limousine and go to school, but Ruki will not give up on finding Asami.

Asami....I will find you, and once I do.....I will tell you how much I feel about you.....
