Part One:
He loved her, she loved back
It was a perfect symphony
Never knew there was a gap
I always thought t'was you and me

Seemed so close in virtuality
Talking all day and all night
But was so far in reality
I was the shadow you were the light

They force us to become lovers
Seems they went too far
The teases got worse and worse
The light now left his star

Look where it led
Sweet emotions seem to fade
I remember the words you said
They now cut me like a blade

Part Two:
I woke up one normal morning
With a vague memory of yesterday
The sun seemed like t'was no longer shining
Why couldn't you just stay

We walked a fragile line
The pressure you can't take
I should've known all this time
A simple challenge and you will break

It just proves we weren't for each other
I felt like it was all wrong
Is there any way to make this better?
Or are we just playing along?

All seemed like an illusion
With all these confusion I cannot cope
Even in this critical situation
I cannot lose this little drop of hope

Part Three:
The dawn tries to take away the light
You gave in, without hesitation
Leaving me alone in this cold, dark night
We started to walk in different directions

I persisted, continued on chasing you
But multiple times did I stumble
Trying to forget what I thought was true
Now I'm stuck in this gloomy jungle

Even if the distance widened
A simple wish kept me holding on
I would still be here till the end
Until I take you back from the dawn

I knocked on the door of your heart
In hope of mending what was broken
To be like what we used to from the start
But no matter how hard I try, it wouldn't open

Part 4:

Another girl tried if she would last
But her heart was as frail as mine
Your coldness broke her really fast
The light has dimmed the shine

She swiftly faded
Her being you tore
The shine no longer gleamed
She wasn't visible anymore

She fell down a thousand meters
With no one to break her fall
What used to be sweet is now bitter
She became heartless, void, and null

This will definitely scar
Her already broken heart
She chased really far
Now stopped and fell apart

Part 5:

A story that was once true
Now just a fallacious fairytale
There is no more "To be continued."
A novel that became an epic fail

Although I still see a small chance
Of you and me being together
Your pride is taking a stance
To make the space between us wider

I think its time for the final bow
To bid my past lover goodbye
I shall be heading on now
Curtains are closing, my tears dry

I thought we were meant to be
But you and I wasn't possible
You finally found a better lady
At least, for once, you became my idol
