He was sleeping next to the raven, it was early in the morning, they were not wearing anything and he could feel the raven's soft skin against his own, enveloped in his warm embrace.

He stared at the sleeping raven for a long time, holding him and feeling very happy.

He was feeling so very lucky to be with him.

The raven woke up and said something with a warm sleepy smile. Too silent.

He woke up right at that moment.

Naruto blinked his eyes open. He slowly covered his face up with his hands and groaned, too embarrassed.

That dream suggested what might have happened the night before and it was too embarrassing for the current blonde.

He rolled around in his bed, groaning and feeling mortified, before he finally calmed down and got up to get ready.

It's been a while since they started dating and they've gone out on a few movie dates or just hung out at a game center. They even hug a little too much when they hang out at each other's place but anything other than that is still.. They haven't even kissed yet after all.. He blushed red at the mere thought of it and tried to push the thought away.

Their exams were closing in on them, they didn't have time for stuff like that!

Okay, those were just excuses, he just wasn't ready for it yet. He's still way too mortifyingly embarrassed to even just think about it!

It's not that he didn't want to, he definitely wants to do more than just hug, and there are even a lot of times when he's overcome by the urge to just lean in and steal a kiss from Sasuke, but.. But! ..He was just too embarrassed to do anything.

He sighed, getting ready to leave for school.

As soon as he reached and was ready to get settled down in his seat, Kiba and the others beckoned him over.

He put his bag away at his desk and walked over to where they were seated.

On the other side of Gaara's desk shika had pulled up his seat and was laying his head down on the said desk- as usual. Choji was sitting on Kiba's seat and munching away while Kiba was standing next to shika trying to wake him up. He grinned, greeting them, and they started a random conversation.

There was still a bit of time before homeroom, but Sasuke was yet to arrive, he glanced towards the Uchiha's seat unconsciously and felt the teasing gazes of his friends which made him try to change the topic.

As soon as Sasuke walked in and over to his seat, his noisy friends suddenly went quiet.

But Naruto was too busy staring at the raven to notice it.

Sasuke was planning to stay quiet since the blonde was with his friends but feeling his stare, he looked back and smiled, "G'morning"

"Good morning..", Naruto smiled back, feeling just a little giddy.

Feeling the unyielding smirks and teasing grins his nosy friends were shooting him with, he blushed feeling a bit embarrassed and tried to change the topic to quickly escape back to his seat.

Saying the homeroom's about to start, he successfully escaped- leaving them laughing and chucking away.

Sasuke was also smirking at him, and as usual, Naruto ended up being the only one that's teased.

How infuriating..!

During lunch he decided to confront Sasuke about it, "Why in the world do you always join them when they tease me?!", he asked, angrily munching on his food.

Sasuke chuckled, "I don't really say anything though..?"

"Neither do they!! You guys just give me those looks! It's so embarrassing!!!", he yelled in a whiny voice.

Sasuke ruffled his hair, "You should just tell them we're dating, I'm sure they're just trying to show that they'll support you"

"they're just having fun teasing the heck outta me and you are too!", he sulked.

Sasuke smiled, poking his cheek with a finger, "don't sulk.. I'll stop them next time, 'kay?"

"Won't they just tease me more if you do?", Naruto was genuinely confused.

"if you tell them you don't like it, I doubt they'll do it again", Sasuke smiled and pinched his cheek.

"Hmm.. It's not that I hate it, I just think its too embarrassing..", Naruto held the raven's hand, stopping him from pinching his cheek.

Sasuke chuckled, gently caressing his cheek that was now a bit red, Naruto's hand still placed on top on his, "You're too cute for your own good"

"Don't start teasing me as soon as I say that", he whined, leaning on the raven's hand that was still caressing his face, he used his hand that was placed on top of it to press his face against Sasuke's hand.

Sasuke leaned in, nuzzling their noses, "Even though I'm only stating a fact?"

"..Idiot", Naruto couldn't take his eyes off of him.

Sasuke smiled gently, staring at his lips for just a second before pulling away, and going back to eating his lunch, "you sure you don't want to tell them about us dating? They already seem to know anyway", he asked, going back to the topic at hand.

"No.. Not yet.. They'll just tease me more for sure, and you'll join them too!", Naruto replied but inwardly felt just a little dissapointed that he didn't get to kiss him again.

Sasuke chuckled, "I told you, I'll stop them, I'm sure it'll be alright"

"Nope. Nah-uh. Not happening", Naruto would be damned if he was teased more than this.

Sasuke laughed, "Alright, let's just leave it be then"

"But don't tease me with them", Naruto pouted.

Sasuke smirked, "when did I ever..?"

"You meanie!", he yelled.

"you're the one who refused the offer when I said I could stop them", Sasuke retaliated, still smirking.

"but I only need you to stop", Naruto whined.

Sasuke leaned in and whispered into his ear, "now that's impossible, you're too cute for me to stop teasing you", finally revealing his true thoughts after going in circles for a while.

"I hate you..", Naruto sulked.

"I love you too", Sasuke kissed his cheek and smiled cheerfully.

"Idiot!", Naruto blushed.

After the classes ended, they went to study in the library together, because of the exams that were closing in on them, they've been studying together since a week ago.

Sasuke was really good at teaching so it was going quite well.

Shika and Kiba were staying overnight at each other's, with Shika trying to cramp all the information into Kiba's head.

Choji and Gaara were good enough to study by themselves, but Gaara was seen asking Neji to tutor him by Kiba.

Kiba couldn't help but wonder, why all his guy friends were ending up with another guy.. As if just him wasn't enough.

Yes, they don't act like it but Kiba and Shika have been dating since middle school. And surprisingly it was Shika who confessed, but Kiba who was still oblivious to his own feelings took a whole year before he realized that he was in love with his childhood friend too. He did immediately confess right back as soon as he realized it though and they've been dating ever since.

Choji and Gaara were friends with them in middle school too, so they'd casually come out to them. And the boys were shocked but accepted it easily.

Maybe because he himself has a boyfriend so it was easy for him to notice the blonde on the first day, who was giving the raven those lovestruck looks. It was too obvious.

Well, it was Shika who noticed it first and told him, but still, he'd noticed it too!

Gaara and choji seemed to have figured it out too. But he didn't expect even Gaara to start going after a guy, that was surprising.

He thought he was definitely the one who noticed it first about Gaara but Shika seems to have noticed it wayyy earlier.

Tsk.. This lazy smartass

So now, Kiba and Shika were studying overnight at Shika's.

Gaara was being tutored by Neji at Gaara's.

Choji was busy eating- I mean, studying while snacking on chips.

And finally our main characters, Naruto and Sasuke were still in the library, even though it was almost closing time already.

They were about to wrap it up for the day when Naruto worriedly stated, "There's only a week more left.. I wonder if I'll be able to finish it by then"

"Don't worry, you're doing well, we can cover up all the important topics before the week ends", Sasuke ruffled his hair, reassuring him.

"..can't I stay over at yours before the exam day?", Naruto asked hesitantly.

Sasuke looked a little worried, "Will you be able to concentrate at mine?"

Naruto nodded vigorously.

Sasuke smiled, "Alright, but it's better if we don't sleep in the same room when you stay overnight, is that alright?"

Naruto pouted, "..what's with that? You don't like being in the same room as me?"

Sasuke chuckled, "You have no idea how much I love it.. But..", he trailed off hesitantly.

"But..? ", Naruto persisted, nervously.

Sasuke smiled worriedly, "I might not be able to hold back... So I think it's better if we don't sleep in the same room"

"If- um.. ", blushing red, he hesitantly continued, "If you're holding back thinking I'm not ready for it yet.. You can stop holding back.. If it's you, I'm sure I'd be alright no matter what you do to me...", he trailed off, completely red from embarrassment. But he didn't want Sasuke to hold himself back because of him, so even if it's too embarrassing, he just had to say it out loud, to let Sasuke know he's more than ready to accept all of him.

Sasuke blinked at the blonde who looked very mortified after saying it out loud, and promptly blushed, "Thank you.. for telling me that.. It means a lot to me that you're willing to accept me to that extent..."

Naruto blushed even more, looking down at the books that were still scattered on the table.

It was too late and they were the last ones left in the library's study area.

Sasuke gently rubbed his head, continuing in a serious voice, "It's true that I'm holding myself back.. but it wasn't only because I thought you weren't ready for it.. I apologize for not being clear about it before.. I was just not confident enough to hold you yet"

Naruto looked up at him questioningly, face still tainted red.

Sasuke smiled at him, gently taking hold of his hand, "I'm not yet confident enough to stay in control if I have my way with you.. I might end up being too rough with you..", he slowly interlocked their fingers, bringing the blonde's hand upto his lips and lightly kissing it, "I would definitely regret it, if I don't treat you as preciously as you deserve to be treated.. That's why, I  was scared of carelessly laying my hands on you.. So won't you please wait until I'm confident enough to treat you the best way possible?"

"Of course! I'll gladly wait", Naruto had no idea that was why Sasuke was holding himself back, "Thank you for caring so much about me", he smiled gratefully, heart thumping loudly in his chest. He felt so very treasured and loved.

"How could I not? You're so precious to me", Sasuke smiled back, lovingly.

Naruto giggled. He looked at him, smiling happily, "I love you, Sasuke..."

"I love you too, Naruto", Sasuke leaned in and gently kissed his cheek.

Naruto chuckled happily, he always felt so safe with Sasuke, and now he knew why. Sasuke was always so gentle and caring. How could he ever not feel safe with someone so wonderfully loving?

Naruto personally wouldn't have minded a little pain if it's from Sasuke but when he thought about how Sasuke definitely didn't want to hurt him, not even a little.. It somehow made him feel so very happy. 

They walked together half way through and right before they parted ways for the day Sasuke pulled him into a hug, "See you tomorrow, and careful on your way back"

"hm-hmm, you too.. Love you", Naruto whispered the last part.

Sasuke chuckled and kissed his cheek, "love you too..", and let him out of his embrace, "Bye"

"Bah-bye", Naruto waved as he walked away, towards the direction of his house.

Sasuke smiled, waving back and then went his own way home.
