That didn't stop the smile that spread on my face though, I was free now I just needed a plan to stop Fenrir.

Chapter 25

I grunt as I trip over a branch and fall flat on my chest, it hurt , a lot and I think  I heard something crack when I fell, but I don't stop to check for any injuries.  I pushed  myself up and trying to ignore the pain in my ribs, I  started to run once more. I knew they would searching for me. I didn't have enough time,  I just hoped that my father had gotten away and that they did not hold him hostage.

I continue to run and my chest was burning, my limbs protesting for me to stop and take a break but as much as I wanted to, I couldn't, I would not let them catch me, I just had to find a way out. I knew Greyback would be on my trail, he has been hunting me  for years , it's a miracle that I had been able to stay hidden for as long as I did.

A loud howl came from a distance behind me and I sped up my pace my aching limbs that did not want to move any faster.

I risk a glance behind me and saw nothing, and I ended up once again tripping over the roots of a tree. I lay their on the ground for  several minutes, not being able to build up the energy to get up or even move. My loud breathing is the only thing breaking the silence around me. I lay my forehead on the ground my aching body making it's pain known. 

I knew I had to move, I needed to move but I couldn't get up, I was to tired, their was no way I would be able to outrun a werewolf.

I did not know for how long I lay their but it felt like hours ,the only reason I knew it had only been seconds if not minutes is because no one had found me yet. I closed my eyes, trying to rest my body, I needed all the energy I could get.

I felt something brush against my hand, but ignored thinking it was an insect or something from the forest . The feeling doesn't come back but when a harsh breath blows against me face a jerk back away from the feeling, eyes wide and heart beet rapidly.

I stare at the creature in front of me and let out a relieved breath. It wasn't Greyback.  I continue to look at the creature before as it assesses me with its blue silverish eyes. It's mane completely white and I saw a herd more behind the one in front of me.

A unicorn.

A herd of unicorns

I couldn't believe a herd of unicorns were in this forest. Another howl rang through the air and I tried to get up, it took lots of effort but I finally managed to get up, my legs wobbly and my breathing hard. I turned towards the unicorn and bowed as low as I could, my body still in pain. Protesting at every movement I made.

I stayed bowed and held my breath . In the back of my mind I could remember a story I was told, that Unicorns had been a Seers companion, we just like the seers died out so did the unicorns, it was said that with every seer born two Unicron's were born a male and female.

Movement from the unicorn caught my eye and I lifted my eyes just high enough to see the the leader bow, I let out the breath I was holding and quickly but carefully made my way over towards the unicorn.

Placing my hand on his mane I rubbed his coat thrice before he lowered his body and I was allowed to climb on. Careful not to hurt the unicorn I gently wrapped my hands in the hair of its mane and made sure I would not fall.

I patted the side of his neck and he stood up, he stared off with a slow gallop which turned put into a full sprint.  I couldn't help the smile that broke out on my face.  It felt amazing to have the air rush at you. But the smile did not stay on my face for long, for the pain in my body became very noticeable and the movement was no helping me at all.

I did not know where we were going but I trusted  the unicorn, their was no reason for me not to. I looked behind me but I could not see anything but the darkness of the woods surrounding us.  The rest of the unicorn herd had gone in the other direction, to where I did not know but I hoped that they were safe and out  of Grayback's  hand.

We continued to run and I did not know for how long we were running but it felt like I would soon pass out from the injuries I had sustained. I just hoped where ever the unicorn wanted to take me was close by.

Several more minutes passed and I saw what looked like an abandoned cottage come into view.  I did not know where we were but I presumed that we were out of Scotland. We stopped several feet away from the house and I gently slid off his back.  Standing next to the magnificent creature I looked at the house.

" Why did you bring me here? " I asked and did not expect an answer and almost screamed when a rough but  gentle voice spoke in my head.

" You shall find what you look for in this house, everything you need is in this house princess Ana. "

Shocked I took a step back but soon recovered.

" How can you speak?  And who's house is this?  " I asked.

" My apologies I am Nur the leader of my herd,  and you have much to learn if you did not know I could speak to you, this was a safe house for Seers many years ago, the owner had died from old age, you will find the history and Medical supplies you need in their. Just like Seers we unicorns know when we are needed. I must go know before my mate worries, do not stray from the house until you return to Hogwarts, my herd lives their, visit us.  I wish you well Princess.  " Nur said before he stared galloping away. I stood their  watching until he disappeared from view.

Shocked and in pain I made my way towards the house and felt the wards except me, almost like it was welcoming me home after being gone for a long time. I walked up to the door and slowly raised my hand to the door  handle.

Taking a deep breath I twisted the knob and stepped inside the dark house.
