Chapter 21
Alex POV.

I was once again sitting in the potions classroom, not really paying attention to anything my spoke of. I was fully healed and bored.  My father walked along the tables checking on people's potions. He could not sit down since I was occupying his desk.

I tipped my head back exposing my pale throat and my pink hair hung around my shoulders. I glanced sideways at the guitar that I had brought with me and at my father.

Gingerly I picked up the instrument and settled it over my lap. Father always loved it when ever I played or sang for him. I gave an experimental stoke to the strings as I watched my father. He stopped for a moment before continuing to walk but before he could his his smile, no matter how small, I had seen it.

Taking a deep breath a started to play, a random tune that I had created years ago for my love, I haven't sung in so long, besides the song shouldn't be wasted on a bad memory.

Drumming my fingers over the strings I took a deep breath and started to sing, not noticing the yes that were watching me.

Glancing up I almost froze when I saw the class watching me and a huge smile on my father's face which no one noticed. My father sent a wink my way before wiping all emotion off his face and barked.

" Don't you all have work to do. "

The students rushed to get back to work and I had to hide my smile in my shoulder. 

Leaning my head back one again I started at the dark ceiling with a silly grin on my face .

Peace at last. All I had to do know was wait for the third task. Then I would be free and all i would have to do is sort out my one problem.
