Chapter 10

The first thing I notice when I came into awareness that I hurt .My whole side was aching just by me breathing I didn't want to think of the pain if I sat up or walked.

I managed to open my eyes and I saw a while ceiling .'oh ,no I thought please don't let me dead or worse the hospital wing .' I though .I looked around an d to my horror I was in the hospital wing ,Hogwarts hospital wing to be exact.

I really hated hospitals .I tried to !I've to get a better view of my surroundings only for pain to shoot up my side and barely could prevent myself from crying out ,though I couldn't stop the whimper that left me .

I quickly settled down trying to keep as still as possible not wanting to be in any more pain .Though luck seemed not to be on my side as Madame Pomfrey came bustling out of her office .

"Oh my poor dear ,you shouldn't have tree to move you broke a total of five ribs  .Really letting children compete in these silly tournament .I never agreed to it in the first place but do they ever listen to me ,they never listen to the healer." She continued to mutter to herself while gathering several potions .

"Now dearie , you need to take these it is for your pain and to help your bones heal you should be out of here in a few days don't worry about anything dearie." Madam pomfrey said in a soothing voice.

All I could do is take the potions so I wouldn't be in any more pain .

                           ************several hours later*************

The next time I came to awareness I heard several voices speaking .
I groaned why couldn't they go away I still felt groggy.

"Anastasia." I recognized the voice of my father scold me .

"Hhhmmmm." Was my intelligent reply.

"It looks like the sleeping beauty does not want to wake ,do thinkmi should our little beauty to awaken." I heard the similar voice of Riddle speak.

My eyes snapped open and I pinned him with my best glare.

"Don't even think about you bas-." I stopped myself when I remembered that my father was here instead I simply glared at him .I was angry at my father to would he actually have let him kiss me .

"You look like a angry kitten .You have to work on your glare." He said ignoring the fact that I was glaring at him.

Before I could say anything my father cleared his throat and both our heads turned towards my father .

"You have been unconscious for three days. " he said .

Was I really that long unconscious . I must of hit my head harder than I thought .Then I remembered that damn dragon .

"How did I do?" I asked .

My father gave me a small smile which he didn't normally do in front of other people no matter who ,he hardly shows emotions in front people .

"You made it first place...." He said ,he continued to talk but I wasn't listening I came first place .Something went wrong then I was supposed to come second that what was my vision showed me . One of the champions must of changed their minds last minute ."......You came first with 47 points ,Fluer 30 ,Victor 35 and Potter 40." The last part was snarled .

"So what happens now " I asked looking both at my father and Riddle who had been quite the whole time while watching me . I avoided looking into his eyes and tried for the first time to successfully keep my blush down.

"You retrieved the Golden egg ,it contains a clue to the next task which will be in three weeks ." Riddle said from his spot at the end of my bed .

"OK so I got three weeks ......when do I get out of here?" I asked looking around everything was so white ,no wonder my father wore black robes if had to come in here everyday.

"Not so fast dearie ,you just woke up and you are still healing .You need to stay for several more days until you are filly healed." She continued to talk not looking for something in the cabinet by my bed and thus never noticing my horrified expression.

"No .....definitely no I am not staying in here for a few days let alone several hours no offense by they but I will surely go mad in this room."

"You are my patient and you will do as I say!" She spoke in a stern voice but it did not affect me at all ,after all I live with my father.

I heard a chuckle coming from the end of my bed and saw it was Riddle who was smirking in amusement ,my father also had the exact same look on his face .

"She won't let you leave until you are healed." They said simultaneously.

I narrowed my eyes at them . This must of happened with several students before by the likes of it they had to stay ..........luckily I'm not like most students.

I looked back at Madame Pomfrey .I put on my best puppy dog eyes and myself look as innocent as possible .

"Please Madame Pomfrey ...... I swear I'll be good I'll be in bed the entire time I would just like a more comfortable place to be in , I would like to stay in my fathers chambers please , after all it is your duty make sure your patients are comfortable ." I finished my act by sticking out my bottom lip in a pout  as I gazed her.

She looked conflicted ,obviously debating whether she she would let me go or not . Her first mistake was glancing back at me because her resolve completely broke . She let out a defeated sign.

"You are to stay on bed rest .......let me go fetch the potions you are to take ." with that she left to her office to retrieve the potions .

I turned back to two stunned men .I gave them a smirk that said it all .
"Wasn't going to let me out ......huh........ looks like she just did."

My gather let out a small laugh his eyes giving the clear a message 'only you can be able to manipulate someone like pomfrey.'

Riddle on the hand had a look in his eyes ,something I could make out but he must of felt me staring at him because he immediately made his face blank of emotions.

"You are to take these every night am I clear "

"Yes Mame."

With that she left once again to go do Merlin knows what .I slowly got out of the bed careful of my side that was still aching .

"Let's get out this place .I don't think I've ever seen this much white in one place at once ." I said walking out of the Hospital wing leaving the men to follow .
