'I heard of the Dimensional Witch being merciless-'

Standing underneath all the rain, I thought back to where I imprisoned the king of Celes; in hope of coming here to find a world where he can't find me, I traveled to find the Dimensional Witch.. now that I have I then began to unconsciously examine the female before me, only to realized she was wearing several off accessories, along with her stoic expression.

'Hmmm~, yet I can't seem to make assumptions on that quite yet.'

It was then I noticed the odd appearance of the injured group that was being treated by a boy with antlers and a girl who resembled a pig that rested behind the Witch..... The boy looked oddly familiar to me.... Actually they all did, even the odd children that accompanied him, however I noticed that he himself seemed to have the most injuries, but the most common among them all......

... was that they smell as if they were the same as me, born with a label but with a slight alteration in their scent from my own; the look of concern they all had upon their faces..... They were worried about something..

'Or someone.'

"Please Madam. My friend needs your help." I just observed, as I watched the boy bring the girl closer to him.... It reminded me of someone I knew long ago, he had that very same look in his eyes as he did. "She's a princess. Can you help me save her life?"

It was quiet, as if she was thinking of something, before I saw something move from the porch in front of me, to my right of the injured group.

It looked like a person, but I could have sworn I saw a tail, but before I could move closer the guy with black hair and sophisticated glasses stepped closer to that person, glaring at me in the process.

Making me even more intrigued, as I gave him a closed eye smile.

"Regardless of their seeming to be selected individuals that haven't arrived yet-" I raised a brow opening my eyes slightly at that, as well as hearing the series of growls coming from that group being treated, as I watched her approach the kid and the girl. "Welcome. This is Sakura, yes?"

I watched this kid nod slightly.

"Yes."

I watched the Witches eyes narrow, as I also saw the hidden figure turn their head left, from their hiding spot behind the right door.

"And who are you?"

I turned my attention back to the Witch and the boy, knowing I was about to get a name from the boy, much like I already did for the girl.

"My name is Syaoran."

I then watched the Dimensional Witch place her fingers against the girl's forehead, and began to glow in a similar way to a girl I met back when I lost slight control of my powers.

'If I didn't know better-' I then hummed, glancing at the group, accidentally making contact with the boy with antlers, and watched his ears raise with interest, further indulging my theory that I could very well know them. 'I would believe that I would meet an old acquaintance of mine with the way things are going~.'

But the likelihood of that is small. Considering he was admitted on making sure nothing bad happened to him or her....... At least, that's what I hope hasn't happened.

"I see, this girl has lost something very precious. Pieces of it have been scattered across the dimensions, to many worlds." I watched her take a silent breath. "Without these fragments-" I watched her make eye contact with the kid. "--your princess will die."

I watched the kid gasp, as the off samurai fellow with the sheath of a sword over his right shoulder, steps forward.

"All right, enough of the drama. Who are you?"

I heard a silent scoff from the hidden figure, and quickly noted that it sounded feminine.

"Introduce yourself first, please."

I watched mister samurai turn his head left, scowling.

"The name's Kurogane." I then saw him open his left eye and looked at the scenery behind him, and well, I guess I kind of did the same in secret. "So what is this place?"

"You're in Japan now."

I heard the male, Kurogane, scoff. Turning his head completely back to the Witch that hasn't moved from her spot once, as if she was trying to dull the boys, I think his name was Syaoran, pain.

"Huh? I'm from Japan, and this isn't it."

"This is a different Japan."

I watched mister samurai's eyes widened.

"What's that supposed to mean?--" "And you who keeps glancing at the figure hidden and the group of injured hybrids behind me-"

I subconsciously flinch at the fact I was caught, which secretly surprised and amazed me, for only one other person has done that.... Which adds, as well places another question to my theory.

"Who are you?"

I bowed slightly to show politeness, as well as an apology, and made eye contact with the Dimensional Witch with a smile.

"Just a humble wizard from Celes. My name, Madam, is Fai D. Flourite."

I heard a gasp from the deer boy, intriguing my mind once again, before watching the Witch stand up, turn her body to what would be my left, to face the male with glasses and the two children that stood beside that feminine sounding figure.

"Watanuki, retrieve the Larg from the storehouse; el meu bonic Ram, the first aid kit for when my important guests arrive."

"Yes ma'am."

I felt my brows furrow at the foreign words she used, as I watched the male look at the figure before taking the left hand of a little pale blue-haired girl and the right hand of a short haired brunette, walking to my left on the porch in front of us all.

However, my thoughts are still wondering if this Witch.... If she could very well be from-

"Thank you, el meu carnero."

I glanced at the Witch, and saw a black bird disappear, becoming an item that resembled a first-aid kit.

'Well, the language definitely adds to my theory.' I then glanced at the group, and saw that they weren't curious about the Witches words, or the language. Telling me they either already knew, or knew the language. 'Well~ whoever the important guests are, they must be very special to this group.'

"The only thing I care about right now is saving Sakura." I then felt something off, and narrowed my eyes. "Please, I'll do anything!"

"There's one way to save the girl's life. The shards of her memories that have been strewn throughout time and space, must be found and returned."

I watched as the kid had a deep look within his eyes.

"The shards of it? Wait, you mean those wings?" I saw his eyes widened, as if he had a look of realization. "All those feathers."

I watched as the Witch then turned slightly to face the boy more.

"Yes, boy. Each feather was a separate memory. Find them all and you will save her life." He was silent. "That is what you desire, isn't it?"

I watched him nodding his head, a strong sense of determination within his eyes.

"Yes."

I then watched her frown.

"As for you two-" I watched her glance from the samurai on my left to me with a nonchalant look. "You both came to ask for favors as well. Is that correct?"

"Sure, you want to do me a favor, lady? Then why don't you send me back from where I came from."

"And my wish is for the complete opposite, madam; any world other that my own will do."

I didn't need to see the scowl I received from the human smelling male beside me, I could practically feel as I heard the Witch hum after I told her my wish....... However, that feeling from earlier, the feeling of an abnormal amount of dread... it got stronger.

"It seems the solution for all of you is one and the same."

I raised a brow at that, and glanced at the group, behind the Witch.

"I take it that the injured group behind you is wanting something similar~."

I heard the growls that came from the group, but were silenced by the boy who stood up, and faced our way.... However for some reason I feel as if he was looking at me with a glare.

"Our wish is one wish; one would say similar to yours however we aren't running away-" Interest was caught when he said their wish was similar to my own. "We were driven away by death itself."

My eyes widened a bit, as I noticed the Witch's eyes held a sorrowful look when she glanced at the boy, who still stood tall.

"The two people missing, are the ones who will act on our wish-" "---and like we told the Witch-"

All eyes went to the woman who wore the features of a wolf, and the four wolf-like children that were crouched beside her, as the woman stood up by the boy, glaring at me as well.

"--- If any harm comes to either of them, from her-" They all growled at the Witch, and I definitely mean all of them. "We'll attack, no consequences. This family will always come first when it comes to this."

I blinked at all the pheromones the woman was releasing, even if the scent was off a bit, I could tell she was an Alpha, albeit an unnatural one, but one nevertheless.

"As you have heard from them, the ones who are missing are the ones who will be making the wish of them; all the while, you, Fai, are a fugitive and wish to travel across worlds to facilitate your escape." I blinked once with a smile as she then looked to the samurai to my left. "Kurogane, you seek the road that will lead you back home."

"That's right."

She then looks to the boy, who had a firm hold on the girl in his arms.

"And Syaoran it is your wish to search through space and time, gathering all of Sakura's memories so she may reclaim her life."

I watched him nod, as she then turned to the deer boy.

"And young Gus-" My eyes immediately widened at that familiar name. "Once the missing members of your group arrive, you all would wish to be able to travel to find a new world to flourish in: one filled with no ridicule, no death."

My eyes secretly soften at his nod, as I watched the Witch's do the very same, but before she could speak an odd sharp pain appeared at the back of my skull for some reason, not really knowing that the Witch and the hidden figure also felt it, nor did I noticed that they realized I did.

"It appears the discussion of payment will be delayed a bit." I blinked as the samurai looked enraged, as I saw the Witch smile slightly. "They're here."

I watched the little deer boy's eyes widened along with the others who immediately stood up carefully.

"W-where-"

I watched as the Witch then gestured to the hidden figure, who I watched move their left hand in a fluid motion, before drawing a small circle in the air for some reason.

"El meu carnero, marked the area where your friends will land."

For some reason, I wanted to turn around, so I did as they all jumped up carefully and ran past me.

Once I was fully turned around, my eyes widened, for who knows how many times now at the arm net they created over the red, sigil-like circle.

Each person had their right arm linked with another person's left, and their right hand would meet within the middle where the four wolf-like teenager children would use their tails to lay over top....

.... It looked like a net that kept precious cargo from shattering.....

..so my curiosity was getting the best of me, as I watched the new arrivals sink from the sky, and carefully into the arms of the group.

However, I couldn't see who it was, as the group carefully placed the figure on the ground gently.... They were all crying, smiling...

I frowned slightly, for it made me wonder.

'What could have happened to have this reaction-' It was then that I also noticed that only one arrived, and narrowed my eyes slightly. '-- was there supposed to be another one as well?'

I was then brought back from my thoughts by the Witch, who slowly walked past me and to the group that was surrounding the new figure, who all I could see was the back of a head.

"You've arrived." I watched as the walrus-like couple moved aside, and saw the figure spin around to face the Witch, but wasn't able to see her due to the big guy with antelope-like horns.... Who was also watching me like a hawk. "You're a bit late, it was unexpected."

I saw their shoulders sag, telling me that they were exhausted for some reason, while I also noticed that this person was holding something quite firmly.

"Y-yes, forgive my tardiness-" My eyes secretly widened at the familiar, feminine voice, and grew worried for some reason, not knowing that it caught the Witch's attention.... But I was also curious as to if this truly was who I believed it was. "A-a lot has happened."

I felt my guard go up slightly from the female's words, even more when I realized that despite the rain masking the majority of her scent, I could tell this female was the same as me...

... a natural born Omega.... But.. I smelled blood and grime on her, and for some reason I felt powers from small lifeforms... but I didn't know where it was.

"Child." I watched the female flinch, and saw her tightened her grip on an object within her grasp, as I watched her family growling at her defense. "Young one, can you stand so I may see you as a whole?"

I saw that she was about to stand, when I then heard a growl coming from my left, instantly knowing it was the samurai, but what irritated me a bit was the fact that he caused the mysterious Omega in my sights to flinch.

"Why the hell did we have to wait for this b*tch!!" I felt a vein show out of instinct, and closed my eyes, now slightly annoyed with this samurai fellow, so I didn't see the Witch or the hidden figure's eye twitch, nor did I see the male in question point to the group that surrounded said Omega, who blinked at the item in her grasp. "And what the hell is up with all of-"

He was cut off, which made me instantly open my eyes just to witness a small rabbit-like creature high kicking the male from under his chin, before landing in the Witch's arms, with both a scowl, and an ominous aura.

"Mokona??" "YOU'RE MEAN~!! MEAN~!! MEAN~!!"

My eyes widened at the fact that something so adorable was actually scolding a full grown man, as I watched the Witch's expression show that she was intrigued by what had just happened, but I then saw the little rabbit's expression fall into that of a solemn look as it turned to face the Witch, with there rabbit ears tilted down.

"Yūko~." I heard the Witch hums, as I also gave the little guy my attention. "Mokona failed to get everyone~."

I felt my eyes change, as I watched the Omega that caught my attention, drop her head, her wet bangs covering her eyes as her friends gasp, and the wolf mother start to growl.

"Then that means-"

I heard the deer boy whimper slightly, and watched his ears tilt down.

"That Claude didn't make it."

I immediately took in a sharp breath at that name... cause now I know for a fact that nearly all of my theories are correct... gulping, I looked to my left and watched the Witch gently pick up the right side of the female's chin, to the point where they both met eyes...

... till I heard the female gasp, and discreetly look her way.

"Y-you're the Witch that lived in that man-made den." I watched her reach inside the left sleeve and pulled out what looked like an accessory of sorts, catching my interest as I leisurely walked closer to both the Omega, who may have answered one of my unsolved questions, and the Witch, who I then noticed had wide eyes, as I then saw what looked like a crown that curled from above where her ears would and back around her head till the ends started pointing up... all while I didn't know the boy holding his friend was intrigued as well. "Amor meu, and I found this locket-like pendant within the den."

I blinked and watched as the Omega handed the pendant to the Witch, as the latter opened it rather easily, only to give out a silent gasp, which only I, the Omega and her family heard.

'Could the Witch actually be--'

"Oh!" My attention was caught, along with the Witch's, as I also felt the eyes of the boy while I watched the Omega remove a beautiful, black woven blanket from her shoulders gracefully. "The locket was also wrapped with this beautiful blanket." I watched her hold it out to the Witch who slowly took it within her grasp. "I'm sorry for any residue that may be on it-" I then observed her look away as if she was ashamed. "I tried my very best to keep it clean....despite the circumstances."

Nobody said anything, I was mostly trying to grasp the fact, this Omega could very well be the same female I met long ago, but if she was, why were her horns different... but I noticed movement from the Witch and saw her raise her right hand, placing it on top of the Omega's head, right between both horns, smiling at her when she caught her gaze.

'... or are they still antlers??'

"May I know your name, young one?"

I watched her tilt her head left, confused. It was surprisingly adorable, I couldn't help the light giggle that escaped, all in which caused me to gain the concealed eyes of the female before me, as I kneeled down in front of her, placing the staff in my right hand across my lap.

"See~ we arrived not too long ago ourselves, and apparently your friends here already introduced themselves, in a quite interesting way, if I do say~!"

I couldn't tell if she was blinking, but I saw her nod.

"I see."

I then saw her try to get up on her own, and stood up, was going to offer a hand, but that nearly got clawed off by the wolf-mother, as she with the help of the deer boy helped the female on her feet...

... but now looking at all her injuries, I'm wondering how she got them.... Examining her even more.... My eyes widened slightly.

'Pregnant, and injured, yet still conscious?? I'm impressed and concerned.'

After she gained her regain her balance, I watched her smile at the other two in a way that said she was fine before she turned to fully face everyone, as she used her right hand to remove her bangs from over her right eye, and behind her right ear.....and my eyes widened when she opened her eye to reveal, tired red rose colored irises that I could recognize anywhere.

I also couldn't help the gasp that came from me as well as the others, when I noticed the whites of her eyes resembled that of a ripe peach, despite the red lines within that showed she's been crying.

I was in awe with this female, as I heard the little rabbit just giggle, as I watched her then give an exhausted smile.

"My name is Frieren, it's a pleasure to meet you."

I was quiet, before I heard the Witch hum, and turned to my right and saw her smile with closed eyes.

"Indeed, and I take it, you will be the one making the wish you and your family share as one?"

I watched the exhausted female in front of me nod, smile still present upon her face.

"Yes. As you have probably guessed, my mate was-"

The Witch held her hand up to cut off the transcendent creature in front of me, her smile still present, while her eyes were closed.

"You are correct, I am aware." I then saw the eyes of the female filled with sorrow, as I watched the Witch close her eyes. "However, I would've chosen you over your mate."

My eyes widened at the words that came from the Witch, and I can feel the very same from nearly everyone else, the samurai just scoffed, as I could feel the boy get more curious than before...

'What does that mean?~'

"While it's true, given your current predicament, your mate would've been a reasonable choice." I then saw her open her eyes, as I looked from her to the wide eyes of the female I now know, and remember as Frieren. "However, as you probably already gathered from the pendant, as an Omega myself-"

I gasped, cause I wasn't actually thinking I was right about that theory!!!!!!!

"--- we're the ones who must push through all limits, including hardships, and judging by your physique, this isn't your first pregnancy either, I take it?"

I heard the boy from behind me gasp at this reveal, as well as felt the samurai instantly sit up at attention, all the while I finally placed the pieces together on where the unknown pheromones and magic came from.

'Then that means-' "May I meet them before we discuss the means of payment for your travels?"

I just blinked before seeing the little rabbit jumping around happily.

"Mokona wants to meet butterfly-man kids too~!"

I saw Frieren's eyes widened, as she smiled sadly.

"I wish I could, but with all the energy spent just to get this far-"

I then had an idea and slid to miss Frieren's right, having my left hand on my hood to keep it still, not knowing of the narrowed eyes of one, the curious gaze from two others, but I definitely heard the growls that came from the labels behind her.

"I may have a solution to that~." I watched her right pointed elf ear raise slightly, as well as widened her right eye in stun, I believe.... And I can also guarantee that the Witch has probably already placed the pieces of this together. So I actually had nothing to lose~. "If the child in question has been placed or seal within an relic, or perhaps an item-"

"It's just a condensed gem created by blood magic with complex sigils, and children I'm afraid... and have we met? You seem oddly familiar."

I blinked at the first part, because condensing a gem with only blood magic, and sigils is actually pretty fickle and tricky, however I was stunned when she corrected me by saying children, but if that was her first pregnancy....

'Oh dear me, she must've given Claude twins or triplets~.' I then realized something else. 'Hold on, why would Claude let her use Blood Magic pregnant, and on their own children??'

Disregarding the last concerning thought, I gave the beautiful elven-deer soft eyes and a kind smile.

"Well~ I may not know blood magic, but I know how to assist in replenishing life energy~."

I watched her immediately turn her head to face me with a look of shock.

"Then you know of Qi??"

I tilted my head right in confusion while looking at her, so I didn't know of the curious eyes of the group behind her, the Witch or the hidden figure.

'Chi?? Wait- we were talking about energy-' "How, pray tell, do you know Chi~?"

I watched her blink with narrowed eyes.

"I believe Chi is a name, bon senyor~."

I actually wanted to chuckle, cause that gave me my answer.

'Ah~, so it's Q, I.'

"Forgive me, my dear~. It has been.... Quite a while since I have heard it pronounced that way~." I watched all the animal ears perk up from my words alone. "--and I am sorry to say, but I am only practiced in the art of sigils~."

I looked away slightly with closed eyes, after I saw her right eye widened, but not seeing the Witch's, but I did hear her hum in amusement I think.

"Nevermind that boy." The Witch has my attention. "A particular sigil is enough to release the children from their confinement."

She then snapped her fingers, as a piece of paper was thrown at me but was caught by a translucent, white tail.....

I blinked.

'Hold on-' "That paper holds in sigils for temporary energy replenishing."

I followed the tail, and saw it was protruding from Miss Frieren's lower back.

"Grab it from the poor girl's tail, and use it if you truly want to help."

I immediately heard the threat behind the Witch's words, and carefully grabbed the paper containing the sigils, as I try to remember the words Frieren used from back then.

.... Only to remember, I didn't know her language, so I just held it out to her and infused my own magic.....

....and yay~! It worked when I saw her body glow slightly, before reaching into her left sleeve, and pulling out a beautiful crimson gem, it nearly looked like a philosopher stone from both the size and shape.

I watched as she held out her hand, a stone within her opened palm that was faced up towards the rain, and closed her eyes as I then watched her hair rise, as well as her antlers glow along with her tail.

"El teu amagat en pedra protectora-" I then watched her eyes open slightly, as the stone lifted from her hand surrounded by the colors of blue, green and white. "--ara es pot alliberar, lliure de vagar."

A bright light blinded everything, and even as it dimmed down my vision was still slightly dark, but I then heard a sound... no.. a series of sounds that instantly cleared that up.

I immediately looked to the source, with the now standing samurai and the boy doing the very same as I, only to see Miss Frieren on her knees, hugging three sets of antlers with antennas.

"Momma~! Momma~!!" "Momwe~."

I heard two feminine voices, instantly telling that they were girls, as I then watched the set of antennas in the middle wrap around Miss Frieren's horns.

"Mother." The sad voice from the now revealed boy, triggered a protective instinct, even more so, when I saw the other two sets of antennas do the very same, but they hummed in confusion, as I watched one look around. "Are we swfe wow?"

I felt as if I was hit with something, when that question got asked, until I met eyes with the one that was looking around, and saw her eyes widened.

"Papa~!!!" My eyes widened, as did everyone else, as the girl removed her antennas from Frieren and ran to where she was in front of me. "Papa~, Papa~!!"

I chuckled nervously, because while I did expect it, it's a bit different when it is real.

"Yuhei-" "It's alright Miss Frieren~."

I carefully knelt down to the girls' level, and I would be the world's biggest liar if I said this wasn't the sweetest little thing I've ever met.

Her antlers somehow looked like the ones her mother has now, little braided buns behind her little deer ears, adorable blonde hair, beautiful rose eyes, adorned with antennas that were waving around along with her tail-

I blinked.

'Guess the tail is a dominant trait.' I watched it wave around, as she was bouncing left and right happily. 'It's actually kind of cute~.'

"Little one~." She stopped jumping, and gave me her attention.... But the sweet little eyes made this hard. "I'm sorry to say, but I'm not your papa~."

I watched her hum and tilt her head to my left.

"Yow're not papa~??" I felt like I just got stabbed, even more when her face started to get sad. "But you wook just like him~."

I almost wanted to hug this little tike, so I just closed my eyes, not really knowing of the other infront of me till I reopened my eyes, and jumped slightly from violet, insect-like eyes that were looking at me, blinking repeatedly.

"Wow~! You weally do wook like daddy~!"

Examining this one, she had antlers like the other one and her mother, but the antennas adorned her head curled around them, human-like ears, violet insect-like eyes, long white hair placed into a beautiful, well-kept braid that perhaps could reach her ankles...

These two... they're truly beautiful.

"And who might you be~?"

I watched her tail wag slightly and her wings flutter- Oh!!

'Did Claude have wings~??'

"Lorelli~, mister~!" She then points to the girl that first approached me. "She's my sissy, Yuhei~!"

I chuckled at the look of betrayal the first girl gave to the second, before the little butterfly girl, Lorelli, then pointed back to her mother, who I now saw had very sad eyes and a small smile as the boy in her arms glared at me......

"He's Lyserg~!"

"Lyserg, huh~?"

I heard a growl come from the boy, and heard a questionable hum from Miss Frieren as I watched the boy approach me with furrowed brows, a scowl on his mouth.

I took in his appearance, and was surprised.

He had his mothers elf ears, antlers, and tail, as well as the same antennas as the girls, but his elf ears had a bit of fur on the ends; his hair was white before it started to fade to a blonde color, and even with him glaring at me, I saw that his right eye was rose red, while his left was violet.

I quickly took in a sharp breath when I felt a sharp pain in my ankle, as well heard a gasp from Frieren, a laugh from the samurai and chuckles from the Hybrid group, as Frieren quickly took the boy away from me.

"Lyserg, that wasn't nice."

I watched him then turn and snuggle into his mothers chest.

"Fathers gone, so I protect mowther."

I felt my eyes soften, as I saw she was trying not to cry, as I observed the two girls look at each other.

"Daddy's gone~?"

"Where papa go~?"

I felt my heart tug, as I heard the heels of the Witch walk up to all of us, kneeling down to their height like I did.

"Greeting children." They all look at her, as my eyes are still on Miss Frieren. "Your father was a very brave man." I saw the boy now looking at her. "He made sure that you guys and Mokana got here safely. I'm sure he made some form of precaution, incase of any incident."

I felt her look at me, even with my eyes closed.

"However, you three need to know that your mother has a special job to do."

I watched their antennas raise up in attention, as the girls walked up to the Witch.

"A job~?" "What job~?"

Lorelli. Yuhei. Lyserg." All the children looked at their mother, who I watched smile smally. "Mommy has to travel for a while in order to find us a brand new home to live in, as a whole family."

"Okay!" I looked at the boy. "When do we go~?"

I watched her take in a breath.

"Lyserg, you and the girls can't come." "--why not!!"

She actually looked like she was about to break down, as I watched the Witch frown.

"Your mother is the only one strong enough for this trip, and I can promise you that I won't leave her without protection." She then stood up, as I did the same and gently helped Frieren onto her feet, with the boy still in her arms glaring at me. "Kanako."

She then turned her body to face the buildings to my right, as I saw her look to the porch.

"Come here my child."

My eyes widened at what was said, as I immediately looked to the porch along with the others, and gasped when the hidden figure from behind finally stepped out of the shadows.

This girl had Ram-like horns, raven black hair like the Witch's, golden like eyes, and a black colored tail...

'Are those an extra set of eyes on her cheeks?'

"Gentleman, ladies, this is my daughter. Kanako." I heard the girl, Kanako scoff, before the Witch turns back to the children. "She along with someone who has a promise to keep-" A shiver ran down my spine. "Will definitely make sure your momma is protected from mean Alphas."

I gulped.

'How exactly, did she know about that??'

I heard a whimper, and placed that question at the back of my mind, as I immediately turned to little Lyserg.

"W-well, I guess if mama and the baby will be swfe."

"I'm sure, right Kana."

"Yes, don't worry little tike, your mother and unborn siblings are safe with me."

I watched the kid look at the new person before he nodded, and actually allowed me to help Miss Frieren place him down with his sisters.

"Frieren, the wish of your family is to find a world where there's no ridicule, and nothing that includes early deaths, a peaceful life, correct?"

I watched her nod her head.

"You are, madam Witch."

I heard the Witch then hum, but I was actually thinking.

'I wonder if she would let me stay with her, if she finds a peaceful dimension.' I then hummed at my own thoughts, not knowing that three natural born Omegas were looking at me. 'I did agree to Claude's promise after all~.'

"I see all, so for the most part everyone's goals may be different, but the path is the same." She then turned her body so that she was facing everyone. "You all wish to travel, from this world to another."

I just smiled, as she then walked back closer to the house, where the Witch's daughter stood, with me assisting Frieren and her children that way, to the point where they were standing between me and the boy with her family close by, but listening nevertheless.

"However, as I mentioned earlier a price must be paid in order for these requests to be fulfilled."

I saw the samurai lean forward, scowling.

"Price?"

I heard Frieren hum.

"That would make sense in a way."

The samurai made some sort of a sound that sounded like annoyance, as I chimed in to save Frieren from his wrath.

"Crossing worlds is disruptive, and the universe must keep its balance. To gain such privilege, sacrifice must be made."

I felt a tug on my lower coat, and looked down to see the little tike, called Lyserg, looking up at me.

"So it's wike mother bringing Scarlwt back to wife~?"

I blinked and turned to look at Frieren with closed eyes.

"You actually brought someone back to life~?"

I watched her chuckled nervously before seeing hands-like paws on her shoulder, and a furry face licking her cheek, as I heard the wolf mother gasp.

"Scarlet!! Down sweetheart!!" The wolf-like teenager did as told as I watched it go back to its, or her, mother and I assume brothers. "Forgive her, Miss Witch."

I heard her hum, and turned my attention back to the Witch.

"This is actually a perfect example, what was taken from you in order to bring the child back?"

Frieren was quiet for a bit, and I turned to see her with a confused look.

"I honestly don't know." I smiled with my head tilted right. "Claude jumped in front of me, and then Scarlet came back in a ......relatively new body."

I felt my hair cover my eyes, mostly because I'm now aware of what happened, and I didn't know whether to think that moron was brave, or just plainly ignorant....

..... One thing I know for certain though.

"I see, it's still valid in the exchange, worry not over it." I watched Frieren nod, as the Witch closed her eyes. "Although even if that is the perfect example, I'm afraid I do not have the power to grant each of your wishes directly. For instance, I could only send the deer, so her family and children would have to stay here with me, until she found what she wanted."

I watched the children clutch on to Frieren, looking like they were about to cry.

"We'll just have to find a way to combine them into one wish."

I saw Frieren's elf ears rise.

"Like a compromised contract?"

I heard the Witch hum.

"Correct." I then watched the Witch look at us all. "However, first you must each surrender your greatest treasure. The balance of the universe must be maintained."

"Treasure? Like what?"

"Whatever you value most, my daughter gave me her price for the trip-" I watched her then meet eyes with the samurai. "--your price is your sword."

"The Silver Dragon!" I watched Frieren flinch from his yelling, all the while she was trying to cover the children's ears as I gracefully helped by petting the little blonde deer's head since she was trying to hide behind my left leg, under my coat. "You would ask a warrior to give up his blade? HA!!"

I watched him leap back away from the Witch, as I then noticed her daughter had a scowl of disapproval, I even heard a scoff from Miss Frieren.... She wasn't very amused either.

Then again, I'm not either.... He's being very childish.

"This sword is my life!"

The Witch looked amused, despite the scent of irritation her pheromones were slightly releasing, so I framed amusement as well, while also gesturing to Frieren to come closer, so I could share my coat so her and the kids wouldn't get sick.... Or well at least not too sick.

"I ask for nothing, Kurogane. I merely informed you of the price of what you seek." I am now actually amused at the scowl on his face, I even heard Frieren giggle when the Witch then smiled with narrowed eyes, poking the samurai's chest with her right index finger. "So, what's it gonna be, tough guy?"

I watched the grip he had on his sword tighten slightly, in fact he looked like he wanted to remove it from its sheath, but clicked it shut and held it out begrudgingly...... for the best, cause I was ready to protect Frieren as well her family if he did decide to remove the sword.

"I will be back for this Witch, count on it."

I hummed, as I felt the feminine nails gently poking my ribs, and I looked down to see Frieren looking at me with her head tilted left.

"How will he-"

I leaned down, and lowered my volume to where only the samurai can't hear me.

"He doesn't realize he can't, dear~."

I watched her ears, as well as the antennas of all the children rise slightly, confusion on her, amusement for them..... It was surprisingly adorable, as I watched the sword levitate from his left hand, and towards one the two girls that now stood in front of the Witch's daughter, with the long, pale blue hair girl holding it.

"And for your payment wizard, the tattoo on your back."

I gasp softly, frowning I'm sure, mostly because this tattoo has more importance to me than one would believe, and just smiled with closed eyes, tilting my staff a bit.

"Wouldn't you rather have this staff instead?"

"'Fraid not. A sacrifice, you see, is measured by its worth to the one who wears or makes it." She then looks from me to Frieren, who I felt was confused, before returning to me. "Not like the creator is no longer alive, to create another."

'That is besides the point-' I didn't even need to know that I was releasing my pheromones, because I could feel Frieren and the children shake slightly, so I steeled myself and continued to smile when I felt them calm down. '--although, she has a point in the fact that I have the artist by me now.'

"Yes, I suppose you're right."

I felt my back burn slightly, and saw the tattoo that adorned my back flew over the little brunette girl with buns similar to the little deer child; even though I'm slightly disheartened by the loss of the mark, I immediately realized from the gasp I heard from Frieren.... That I have some answers that she needs.

I watched the Witch then turn to the boy with a slight frown.

"Syaoran. For your sacrifice-" I watched her completely face him. "I will have your bond."

I stiffened, subconsciously bringing myself closer to Frieren and the children from that, not knowing that I got three curious looks, as well as one confused look.

"I don't understand."

"Your greatest treasure is not an object. Like one other, it is your relationship with that girl." I narrowed my eyes. "So that is what you must give up."

"You mean never see her?" "No, I mean, no matter how many of her memories you retrieve, Sakura will never remember the bond you had between you or what you have been to each other."

I watched her eyes narrow even more.

"She won't remember you."

I heard Frieren gasp quietly, as well the children whimpered for what I wasn't sure, cause Claude had an easier time understanding the emotion of people he didn't know than me, but the Witch's words made me uneasy.

'One other? So Frieren's payment is a relation, as well??'

"Your relationship with her will be lost; her feelings for you will be those of a stranger and that Syaoran will be your sacrifice." I watched as the boy then looked at his friend. "You must ask yourself, what does she really mean to you?"

I took a glance at Frieren, who was petting the hairs of the boy and the little butterfly girl, while feeling a tail wrap around my thigh, causing me to look down to see the little deer also had her left antennae wrapped around Frieren's right wrist.

"I don't have to, I already know." He was silent, but I didn't take my eyes off the mother and children beside me. "She's my best friend."

I closed my eyes, agreeing with that statement for a whole different reason.

"But then she's also my princess." I felt Frieren subconsciously lean against me, and smell sorrow within the pheromones she accidentally released, along with her family. "Everything. She's everything to me."

The Witch was quiet, almost as if she was giving him time to ground himself.

"But, I'll give her up. I can't just let Sakura die!"

"Be warned. Journeying through foreign worlds will be more difficult than you can imagine."

I then realized something...

'She hasn't gotten to Frieren.'

"Hold on one second-" I stayed silent with my eyes closed. "What about the freak over there hiding in his coat?"

I felt a vein show I'm sure, cause I was honestly seeing what made Claude so protective over Frieren as well as heard the growls of her family as I assumed they were ready to jump the male. I also heard the ram female scoff.

"Rude much."

I heard the samurai growl and move.

"Her payment is one that will take a toll, for it could very well cause damage to the four categories, and given your situation you may accidentally find yourself subconsciously seeking an Alpha or one to find you." I flinched when I heard that, and felt my eyes furrow as I watched the Witch look at Frieren. "Your payment, Frieren, is the unconditional love you have for your deceased mate; that includes admiration, adornment and anything that falls along that concept."

I heard the boy gasp, as the samurai got quiet, as I saw Frieren's ears fall as little Lyserg ran in front of the Witch.

"D-does that inwlude us?!" I immediately look at him as Frieren carefully walks out from the shelter of my coat, kneels on the ground and hugs him. "Will she forwet us and fawther!?"

"Oh, Lyserg." "Worry not boy-"

I looked up and saw the Witch smiling softly at the boy with his mother.

"I am only taking the emotion she feels for your father; her memories of feeling the emotions, and of you three with your family will not be touched."

"Wang on~!" The little blonde deer moved from behind my leg, gaining everyone's attention. "Woes that mean we may get a mew papa~?"

My figure stiffened, cause like hell I was letting that happen.

"Possibly, assume the one who made the promise to your father doesn't act in time~." My brow twitched from the mischief that I heard. "--and fret not Frieren, for every land may have its own dangers and beauties, but also they're own energies that my daughter will tell you about herself."

"V-very well.. I-I accept."

"You will all have to rely on each other." I silently gasped with the samurai, as I heard Frieren whimper a bit in confusion. "The power I give you will take you from world to world. But only fate can decide your destination." I saw something wriggle around in the ram girl's arms. "You will travel together, help each other in your quests or not as you choose. You may find people you recognize from your own worlds, living entirely different lives on another."

She then looks at both me and Frieren.

"Labels will also exist in certain worlds, some will be much worse than others; along with lands you will find filled with criminals, others built on lies." I narrowed my eyes slightly. "In some worlds you will find yourselves in the midst of war."

She then looked back at the boy, as I walked up to Frieren and carefully helped her off the ground to stand.

"Through all this, boy, you will be searching for feathers that could be anywhere." I heard Frieren give out a silent, high pitched hum. "The depths of the sea or the hands of a stranger, and these feathers have a power of their own that others will covet. It will be a long, long journey."

I then saw the Witch give a small smirk.

"You're sure you're ready to take this leap?"

"Yes."

The Witch then turned her body to my left, smirk turning into some form of a smile.

"You have a strong will. I believe that would be necessary on the journey before you. We can only hope it will be enough to see you through to the end."

I heard footsteps splashing within water puddles, and saw the black haired male with glasses from before was now holding a black rabbit, much like the white one that jumped from the ram girl into his left elbow arms.

The white one looked excited for some reason.

"You have them?"

I watched the male nod.

"Yes."

The white one then jumped from the male and into the Witch's right palm, as I then saw Frieren's ears raise up, along with hearing the collected gasps from her family.

"These are Mokona Modoki, or for Frieren and her family, either Soel or Larg-"

I blinked.

'Isn't that the rabbit that Frieren was clutching onto?'

"Frieren is already accommodated with this one, so he will be your guide, helpmate and companion."

It made an adorable sound and was doing a funny pose, but it made Frieren and the girls giggle so I didn't think much of it.

"Huh? Hold it. Why are we sharing if there's two? Just give me the black one."

"That one will enable you to contact me."

The black rabbit then turns to Frieren.

"Mokona has got a gift for a pretty deer girl~!"

"H-Huh?! M-me??"

My eyes widened at that as it spit out some form of device.

"That device my daughter will explain, but I will tell you that it will allow you to communicate with both your family and children while they reside here with me for safety."

I blinked in surprise at that, as she scoffed when she saw it.

"You are acting like I'm not a mother myself."

I sweat a little from that, cause I actually did forget.

"Thank you little Larg."

I looked at Frieren, as the little fuzz ball giggled from what she called it, and felt my body warm up slightly from the kind smile she had.

"The white Mokona will take you from world to world, but cannot control where you go. Whether or not you reach your chosen destinations will be up to destiny. Just as destiny led you here."

She then closed her eyes.

"There is no such thing as coincidence, gentlemen and ladies. There is only inevitability." I watched her then open her eyes. "It was inevitable that the six of you would meet."

I was watching the Witch in utter silence as she fed the white one something before holding up her right arm, lifting the white fuzz ball to us as the ram girl walked closer to me and Frieren as the children hesitantly walked away from their mother, sheltering behind the Witch, while the hybrid group stepped back.

"Now go."

The white one glowed before it jumped into the air.

"Mokona Modoki ready to go~!! WahHoo~~!"

It then grew wings as a magic circle appeared in front of us, as the little rabbit then opened its mouth and a variety of colors started to surround us as I kept my arms secured around Frieren, before being blinded, only to have my vision clear, mistaking that I was underwater looking up with rings of gold all around me..

I tightened my left arm, and realized this was a dream... that Frieren was indeed right here, I also saw a silhouette of a bird of some sorts.

It raised its head, but I felt no threat coming from it before everything went dark.

"----ello~! H-lo~! WooHooo~, anyone home~?" I gasped in a breath and quickly sat up and saw that I was somehow on a golden colored bridge. "Yay~! Butterfly-man lookalike is okay~, Mokona glad~!"

I turned and saw the rabbit, called Mokona, however the lack of reasonable weight put my instincts on alert.

"You wouldn't happen to know where the transcendent deer elf is, by chance~?" "Changing clothes~!"

I blinked.

'Changing clothes??'

"Yūko gave spare clothes for a pretty deer lady to Mokona~! No running around in muck and yuck nope~!"

My eyes widened for I instantly remembered how she was covered in blood and grime....

'I still need to ask her how she ended up that way.... Especially if I can keep it from happening to her again in the future.'

I felt something poke my right cheek, and turned to see Mokona.

"Were you friends with the butterfly-man~?"

I tilted my head left, confused by what he meant.

"However, do you mean~?"

"The look in your eyes~--" I saw his ears fall downard. "It's the same as the deer-lady's butterfly-man~."

I blinked and looked at the samurai, who was laying on his side guarding a small tent-like structure that had two silhouette's inside, most likely the girls, before turning to the boy, who was still out cold clinging to his friend.

I then leaned down to Mokona in a hush tone.

"Tell you what, i'll tell you a secret if you can keep it-" He hummed, ears instantly rising as he waved both his paws around. "Frieren was very special to both of us, we secretly fought about her behind her back quite often when I was in her world."

I heard him hum in confusion, so I elaborated.

"Ended up there by accident, left with a heavy heart."

He then leaped up, as I heard the samurai groan in impatience.

"Mokona believes Alpha- man can help pretty deer get better~!"

I lightly giggled from that, as he went to the boy and girl as the samurai sat up.

'Thank you Mokona, and I fully intend to this time, not just because of the promise-' I then narrowed my eyes to practically nothing. '-but for myself as well~.'

"Yoohoo~! Wakey~! Wakey~!"

I was brought back to reality when I heard Mokona, turning to him, I blinked when I found him overtop of the boy, before jumping to his right side and his little head right while releasing a little hum.

I then watched Mokona turn back my way, ears tilted downward crying with his little paws in front of him.

"Blubber he's ignoring me~."

I mentally chuckled.

'Awe~, how cute~.'

I carefully turn to face the boy with a closed eye smile while also gently picking up our crying little guide with both hands.

"Oh good you're awake you had me worried~."

He gasped.

"Sakura!"

I watched him immediately twist his body right to make sure his friend was alright, as I then turned to look at a strange city in front of me, with both of the males doing the same.

"What did I miss? Do any of you know where we are?"

Both me and the little guy shrugged our shoulders, with me blinking and him making an adorable sound.

"Actually, we haven't been awake very long either so we're not sure; can't say the same for the girls, but I can tell you one thing about it however-" I then looked off to the left at all the destruction. "This place is nothing like the world I left behind; how about you~?"

"Hmph." I then heard the samurai groan. "Those girls are taking far too long, that's for sure."

"Speaking of girls, you haven't let go of that young lady once since I met you~."

The boy then turned his head my way, as Mokona was jumping up and down happily.

"Mokona likes being carried too~!"

I then realized that I haven't fully introduced myself to the boy quite yet.

"Oh, sorry. I'm Fai."

"Hi, my name is Syaoran."

I closed my eyes with a smile.

"I guess I knew that, but it's nice to be formally introduced." I then frowned slightly when I turned my head right and back to look at the samurai, with a slight, unheard distaste. "So what do we call this sullen fellow in black~?"

"You call me my name. Kurogane." He then groaned. "Will those two hurry the hell up already, damn."

I felt a vein show, not knowing that Syaoran saw it as well as heard a feminine scoff from inside that tent.

'Certainly didn't like that~.'

I then closed my eyes and smiled, my eyebrows furrowed in annoyance.

"Kurogane, huh~? What about Kurgi?" I then secretly smirk, as I opened my eyes to meet his. "Or maybe Kuropoo~?"

He groaned as Mokona then leaped from my arms and onto Kuropoo's lap, jumping repeatedly, ears flopping like wings.

"Kuropoo~! Kuropoo~! Pick me up~, Pick me up~!"

"I'M NOT GONNA- IT'S KUROGANE!!!"

The little guy faced me covering his ears in front of his face with a smile, as I'm smiling as well for a completely different reason.

'Success~.'

The boy was silent, before I heard the sound of something disappearing before the sounds of footsteps, and turned my body right, accidentally letting out a gasp, not knowing it alert both males around me...

... mostly because I now completely understood Claude's infatuation, as I watched Frieren walk back over to us with Miss Kanako right behind her.

Frieren was now wearing one of those traditional white Shiromuku robes, her hair, now placed in three different braids, hung loosely from over both her shoulders while the third traveled down to where the tail ended up grazing the ground.

She was....

'Absolutely transcendent~.'

"Pretty~!! Pretty~!!"

I secretly agreed with Mokona, as Frieren calmly sat down in front of me and Syaoran.

"Forgive me, but I believe I have yet to introduce myself."

It seemed that caught him off guard, and if I hadn't already known about the regal way she spoke, I would've been caught off guard as well.

"It's alright, Miss."

She silently giggled as I heard the ram girl give an amused scoff.

"No need to be polite, I am Frieren." She then looks at the ram girl. "--and she is my new friend."

The ram girl hummed, looking at us all, before turning her head away.

"Kanako."

He nodded, as we all introduced ourselves to them, well I had to have a little fun.

"His name is actually Kuropoo~!"

That caused an instant reaction from Kuropoo, and the girls to blink, as I then saw Frieren look at Syaoran as if she remembered something.

"Oh! I actually have a question for you-" "Hey, what are you guys doing out here? Are you crazy?" I turned to who cut Frieren off and saw a boy in some form of uniform. "Run! Get out of the street!!"

I felt Frieren look at me with confused eyes, I met them with my own.

Luckily, we have Syaoran.

"Why?"

"Oh, great. Don't tell me you're not from around here!! I guess I should have known from those clothes you're wearing, huh? You don't exactly blend in."

I smiled with closed eyes, as Mokona jumped into Frieren's arms, causing mine to widen at her smile and soft eyes, before I turned to face the boy ahead of us.

"No, not exactly an excellent observation~--" "Well trust me this place isn't safe!! You have to get away, especially you two!!"

I stiffened when he pointed at both Frieren and Miss Kanako, as I saw Syaoran tilt his head left confused.

"Why the girls?" "Cause I can tell their Omegas from here, do you know how rare their labels are here?!"

I silently growled, when I saw Frieren tighten her grip on Mokona slightly, as the Witch's daughter placed her hand on the former's right shoulder, as I heard a grunt from Kuropoo.

"That again?" He then looked at me since I was blocking his view of Frieren. "Someone has to explain that."

Syaoran nodded, as I tilted my head slightly left.

"I'll talk to her about it-" "Wait, so you know what it is??"

I looked at Syaoran, and nodded as I felt Frieren hide behind me slightly.

"I do, but I think it's best to let her and Miss Kanako explain, considering they are the Omegas after all~."

"Regardless, "Not Safe" Why? What's going on, kid?"

I felt the female behind me flinch from Kuropoo raising his voice slightly, as well Miss Kanako growling for the same reason.

"There's no time to explain; you guys have to go with the Omegas before they start again!"

"Before who starts what?"

I heard what sounded like metal scraping, but was on edge when I felt Frieren subconsciously holding the back of my shirt with her left hand, while using her right to hold her ear.... She was wincing.

'Her ears must be sensitive since she's part elf.'

I carefully brought both her and Mokona, who was also holding his ears, closer to me, in doing so it caused her left ear to be placed against my chest, as I placed my right hand over the one holding her ear.

Finally getting them both to calm down, I turned and looked only to blink at the hefty looking male with a pink mohawk, wearing sunglasses...

'Why do they all have mohawks and sunglasses?'

"Uh oh. It's too late, they're here."

I heard the fear in the boy's voice instantly, and discreetly looked at him from the corner of my eye.

"Oh, yeah? And who are they?"

I turned to what Kuropoo was talking about, and saw another group wearing scarves with goggles..... All of them.

"Great, what do we do?" I watched the kid look around, before seeing him look at an abandoned bus, destroyed car and stacked tires. "Quick!! Over there!"

I quickly turned and picked up Frieren before looking at Miss Kanako who nodded, instantly following behind me while we headed for cover.

"Today's the day Shogo. So don't try to run."

I carefully placed Frieren on her feet, but made sure she stayed in between me and Kanako who was to my right behind Syaoran and Kuropoo, as I kept her as close to me as possible.

"Why? I wouldn't dream of it."

I carefully placed the palm of my right hand on her lower back and watched these two groups cautiously with a smile.

"See, those two gangs have been fighting for the territory around this bridge for as long as I can remember." I carefully turn my body completely to the right in both to shield and if need be, soften any damage.... Hopefully the latter won't happen. "But the past few days it's gotten really bad. I guess this is the last big fight, winner takes all."

"And should there be no winner?"

He got quiet from Kanako's question, as I heard Frieren hum in confusion as I looked at her and saw Mokona rummaging through the sleeves of her old kimono.

"Hopefully, that's not the case Miss Omega..."

"Well, at least that sounds interesting, but it doesn't even look like any of these guys have a weapon. So how are they supposed to fight each other?"

I turned back to the boy as I watched him turn to look at Kuropoo and Syaoran.

"Well, of course they don't have weapons. They're gonna fight with their Kudon."

I blinked repeatedly, tilting my head left slightly.

'Kudon??'

"What's a Kudon?" "As much as I hate this, I second the asshole here on that."

I heard him growl before hearing the mohawk person yell out.

"Let's kick some bod!!"

Both parties launched towards one other and each side held out a fist, but my attention was caught by the oddball of light appearing above them, before firing at one another.

"So this Kudon stuff is what they're shooting at each other with, kid?"

I watched the kid turn to look at Kanako with a look of surprise.

"You mean you guys really never heard of it?"

I ignored the others since Mokona caught my attention when I saw him gain Frieren's.

"Frie~, Frie~!! Mokona found it~, Mokona found it~!" Both she and I hummed, as I watched Mokona hold out something that surprised me. "This is what Syaoran needs, right~?"

I heard both her and Syaoran gasping simultaneously, as I helped her down to the concrete.

"What's the matter, kid? You scared?"

I looked at Frieren, who met my eyes and nodded shyly as I smiled.

"Maybe this will help~."

I watched Frieren gently hold out the feather so Syaoran could see it in her right hand.

"A feather."

"Yes, it appears Frieren has been wanting to ask if this was what you needed for Sakura, but timing hasn't been fortunate to her~."

"I do recall her wanting to ask me about something-" He then turned to Frieren who shyly gripped Mokona a bit tighter, slightly hiding behind me. "Is that what you wanted to ask me about, Miss Frieren??"

I heard her hum.

"It was, I gained that feather when my mate-" I felt my heart get stabbed when I felt her shake her head. "When the tree was destroyed after Soel and I were forced through and the roots remnants of it became the feather along with a butterfly. So I wanted to be sure it belonged to your friend."

I blinked, confused at that last part.

'A butterfly? How strange.'

I heard Miss Kanako scoff in amusement.

"And mom said it would be difficult."

I saw Syaoran look at Kanako.

"Nevertheless-" Syaoran then looked at Frieren. "I should thank you Miss Frieren."

I felt her jump and repeatedly shake her head, causing Mokona to laugh, as I then examined the feather still in Frieren's gentle grip.

"So this is what one of Sakura's memory fragments looks like, is it~?"

"Yeah, it looks just like it, I guess we should be glad it was Miss Frieren that had with her. Though it feels like a strange coincidence, don't you think?"

I closed my eyes, and recited the words the Witch used.

"Coincidence is a myth, my friend. "There is no coincidence, only inevitability."" I then opened my eyes and smiled at Syaoran. "Remember, that's the thing the Dimensional Witch said before we were transported. Guess she knew what she was talking about."

"Yeah~, you could have made a better impression of my mother, magic boy."

I playfully hummed and closed my eyes.

"If this was any other case, I say we got lucky~."

"Mokona thinks you should thank the butterfly-man~!"

I heard Frieren wince, as Syaoran turned to look at her.

"Butterfly-man?? Was that the mate you lost in your world?"

"Oi, kid." I gently released my pheromones to ease Frieren's sorrow, for I know that her payment was basically everything related to the love she had for her mate, so it makes the memories sorrowful for her more than ever. "Not the time to ask, just take the feather and let that question go."

I immediately nodded, feeling Frieren dozed off against my back, telling me she's hurting a lot more than I thought if she's this tired from my pheromones, so I gently took the feather from her right hand with my left and held it out to Syaoran.

"I agree, I'd take this to her quickly if I were you."

"Yeah."

He went to take it from me when the Alpha instinct kicked in, as well as Mokona's ears flying up startling Frieren.

"Watch Out~!!!!"

The area we were in was hit, causing me to accidentally release the feather to cover the shaking Omega behind me, as Kanako used her cloak to shelter all of us from any debris and smoke..... Except for Syaoran, who ran after the feather.

Frieren gasps when she realizes this, as Kuropoo and the kid lean forward.

"Hey, kid!"

"Come back!! You'll get hurt!!"

I closed my eyes at his determination.

"So determined."

"But why? Why would he run out in the middle of a battle?"

I hummed, when I felt the female against my back gently move from me and discreetly looked her way, watching as Kanako helped Frieren carefully sit beside Sakura.

"People do peculiar things when it comes to love."

I then watched with a calm smile as the sleepy deer moved Sakura's head so that she laid against the right side of Frieren's neck, with Kanako on alert while Mokona was gently patting the palm side of Sakura's right wrist.

"Some more than others-" I then turned to look back at Syaoran with a slight frown, and furrowed brows. "Our own safety doesn't seem so important."

'However, I could relate, considering my priority will be Frieren if that was truly ever the case.'

"So he's actually risking his life for her?"

I was watching as Syaoran expertly dodged and maneuvered through the blasts of light, even gaining the attention of the mohawk groups, one even going as far as to call him a spy for someone called Shogo, all the while I didn't notice the kid look at me, or Frieren.

"Are you the same as him then?" I hummed, and gracefully turned my head and gave him my attention, eyebrows raised in surprise before noticing he was still observing the three females to my right. "I mean, you're an Alpha from the scent of your pheromones, right?"

"Alpha??"

I discreetly ignored Kuropoo, mostly because I don't want to answer that quite yet, and gave the kid a closed eye smile.

"You are quite right-" I then discreetly sniffed him, and was actually surprised with what type he was. "And if my understanding is correct, you are a Beta I believe~?"

I heard Kuropoo make an annoyed sound, but disregarded it as I saw the kids shoulders raise up to his ears, in what emotion I am not too sure, but he then calmed down and turned his head to me.

"Is the pregnant Omega with pretty white hair yours?" I was taken back by that question, and felt oddly warm. "I asked, because usually Underground Alphas take advantage of gang fights like these."

Attention was caught, and so was Kuropoo's surprisingly.

"And that means, what exactly?"

I heard a yell from Syaoran, causing us all to look and see him falling to the ground reaching out for the feather, succeeding in grabbing it, but now laid on his side on the bridge.

'At least he isn't injured.' I then thought about how I remember Frieren being able to heal, but with her pregnant. 'Frieren could very well exhaust herself, so best to make sure she doesn't use her Qi for healing.'

I then saw a blast head for Syaoran, before I witnessed him being engulfed in a ball fire.... Almost like a shield, it caught even Kanako's attention as if dissipated and turned into some form of a flaming wolf with a single horn upon his head.

"Well, would you look at that."

I was smiling, when I felt the astonished pheromones radiating off of Miss Kanako.

"Wow, your friend has the power of Kudon just like the others, and from the look of it I'd even say it's a class one."

That caught my attention, as I felt Mokona crawl into my lap, causing me to look down at him as he pointed his right paw to the boy.

"Class one~? What's that mean~?"

"Well, much like Labels there are different ranks of Kudon, like how there is with the Omegaverse." I hummed, but mentally groaned when I heard Kuropoo make a questionable sound when the kid mentioned the Omegaverse. "Class one the highest, only the most powerful fighters have it."

I then heard Frieren, hum and turned to her.

"I have a question." The boy turned to her, as I saw Kanako was also curious, as I saw Frieren tilt her head left. "Will being a label affect the type of Kudon, or is it just the person's soul itself that determines the type of power one receives??"

I blinked, before realizing that was actually a fair question, and saw Kanako agreeing with a nod of her head.

"Fair question-" She then crossed her arms and closed her eyes. "If a beta were to possess a class one Kudon, it would have to be by his or her will to survive and blend in with humans. Alphas and Omegas however-"

She then looked at the boy, who I saw had an astound look on his face, and Kuropoo who had a look of annoyance.

"Could those two perhaps change the playing field, assuming one or the other had a lower rank?"

I heard the boy humming at that, before seeing him nod his head and tilt his head left slightly.

"Perhaps, I've never met an Alpha or Omega with anything lower than a class two Kudon, but I can understand where you guys are going with this and would actually like to witness that."

"Hold on!! Someone seriously explain what the hell you're talking about!!!"

"So despite Syaoran being human, he's pretty hot-stuff~!"

I mentally chuckle at Mokona's cuteness as we all look towards Syaoran, who now stood tall with that one horned, flaming wolf on his right.

The leader of the mohawks was shouting, and half of what he said didn't register, for my attention was secretly towards the buildings behind the girls, since I noticed some movement.

I narrowed my eyes at the shadowed silhouettes, so I didn't see all the mohawks aim at Syaoran, nor see the wolf jump to deflect the shots... I didn't even notice Mokona looking in the same direction I was because my concern was hidden in the shadows.

About to stand up with Mokona and chase them off, I heard the mohawks scream and run off, those figures doing the very same before hearing the sound of metal denting.

Turning to the source I quickly noted a gray haired male, who seemed to be the leader of his group, kneeling on top of a destroyed bus.

"That was quite an impressive show you and your Kudon just put on, kid."

"Thanks."

I just watched with a small frown, mostly in wonder on who those silhouettes were, before turning back to Syaoran and the new male.

"My name is Shogo Asagi, and who are you?"

"Syaoran."

I narrowed my eyes slightly at the male in suspicion, mostly due to my instincts telling me to be on alert.... For what I have no clue.

"Well Syaoran, do you know what happens to fire when it meets water?" I watched him hold out his right hand, as water circled around his frame and formed a translucent sting-ray. "If you didn't before, you're about to find out."

I leaned down to the kid.

"This may just be me-" I gained both the attention of the boy and Kuropoo as my eyes narrowed slightly. "--but we should be closer to the girls."

"Huh?!"

The boy however just looks at me with wide eyes.

"Is it your inner Alpha??"

I then gave him a closed eye smile, as Mokona already ran to Frieren.

"Call it instinct for now~."

He nodded and as we were about to move my upper left arm was grabbed by Kuropoo, who didn't look very happy.

"I want answers on what the hell-" "--later, or perhaps one of these days, who knows~."

I really needed to be by Frieren in case anything happened.... Hopefully not, but still.

I pulled my arm away and dragged him to the others, minus Syaoran, ignoring Kuropoo protest as I dropped him to the right of both hybrid Omegas with Kanako just blinking at him before releasing a sigh, while gracefully sitting myself to the left of the darling silver horned elf-deer, who turned to look at me with a head tilt to the right, causing me to play it off with an amused giggle.

"It looks like I found myself a worthy opponent."

I watched the silver-haired male, not knowing of Frieren observing me while petting Mokona.

"Mister Fai??"

I immediately stiffened, and turned to her a little too quickly.

"No need to be so formal, just call me Fai, miss deer~."

I saw her ears raise slightly, with a surprised look on her face, before it calmed and she nodded.

"Very well, however I have some questions I would like to ask of you." I felt a shiver run down my spine at the serious tone Frieren had.... And to this day I can't tell if it's the Alpha in me reacting to her, or the fact that I find it kind of attractive. "Of course, when we're all relatively safe."

I turned and saw her looking out towards Syaoran with worry in her eyes as she gently tightened her grip on Sakura, with our little guide patting Frierens left elbow, and smiled before closing my eyes.

"Very well~, Miss Frieren~."
