something middle-fingerish, ah but...

reverts to inscrutable, instead.

Dormouse abjures
winter's sweet sleep, fossicks gentle
beneath brambled reeds
Shelducks forego quacks;
blackbirds feast on persistent Crabapples -
red-gold Christmas baubles Wenchesles-strung.
All is hazed
with elongated slivers
of rain.
All is being cleansed,
reinvigorated, given second chance, baptismsl
