Yugi

I woke up, as I saw that I was strapped to a device. "W-where am I?" I said. 

"Awe, the King of Games. It's quite an honor to meet you."  A voice said in the distance. 

"Who is there, show yourself!" I demanded. The mysterious person came to be a young girl with an evil grin. 

"Who are you?" I ask , "Get me out of here!" 

"Oh, I don't think I would allow that. You're my ticket to dimensions." She said, "As for my name, it's Nicole." 

"Nicole, you can't do this!" I said, struggling against my will to get free. 

"Ha! You think that you were the greatest duelist that Domino City has ever known. You're a weakling, Yugi Moto. " 

I said, "My friends would come for me, Nicole, and when they do, you'll be sorry!" 

"Ooh, I'm scared." Nicole mocks her scared face, "But you'll be losing your spirit if they don't come in time." 

Jemma

As we ran to rescue Yugi, I still wonder if I can be able to find a way back to my dimension. 

"Is something bothering you, Jemma?" Atem asks. I still couldn't believe that he and Mana appeared to us , just because Atem knew Yugi was in trouble. 

"I'm sorry, Atem, it's just I was thinking about my dimension." 

"Oh, I see. It's going to be fine, Jemma. I'm sure we'll get you home safely." Atem said, which makes me curious. 

"Atem, I don't get it. How is it possible that you and Mana would be here, in this dimension? I thought you and Yugi had that ceremonial duel to get into your spirit in the afterlife. It was very hard choice to leave Yugi and the others behind."  

Atem looks at Mana as she nods of telling me . "Promise that you wouldn't tell the others?" He asks. 

"Come on, Atem, keeping anything from the others isn't really your strong suit. Remember how you were tempted by the Seal of Orichalcos and you have to risk everything , including Yugi's soul?"

Atem blinks a bit, then chuckles. "I guess that you have a point. In a lot of ways, you remind me a lot of Yugi . "

I said, stopping in my tracks, "I do?"

The young eighteen year old nods, "Of course you do. The determination of saving Yugi is something worthy of a duelist and a friend . "

"So, tell us what's up." I said, as Joey asks, "What's the hold up? I thought we were on our way to rescue Yug."  

I said, "Well, Atem, we're listening." 

"Atem, just tell them about the spell. It would not be so shocking." Mana encourages him. 

"Mana found a spell that allows the both of us to go from the afterlife to the present." Atem explains. 

Everyone was amazed of the revelation. " Really? That's incredible, Mana." Joey said. 

"As a result, Atem and I... we can't go back , ever." Mana said, seriously. 

"You mean, you and Atem really can't leave this dimension, and you sacrificed your spirits to go back to the afterlife, for Yugi. 

That took guts." Rebecca stated.

I rubbed my head, "Wait until Yugi finds out about this. He'll literally be thrilled that you would not leave!" 

Atem blushes in total embarrassment.

T'ea  

I couldn't believe that Atem changed his fate of being in the afterlife , to be with us. My heart felt fast in a heartbeat, as Jemma looks curiously at me. 

"Uh, T'ea, is something bothering you?" She asks, which I knew that I can't reveal that I had a crush on Atem! 

"It's nothing , Jemma, don't worry about it." I replied , which the red-haired duelist wasn't convinced otherwise. 

"T'ea,  even though I came from another dimension, I can tell that you obviously have a crush on Atem, don't you?" She smirks. 

I gulped, as the girl laughs . "It's not that bad, T'ea. I think it's absolutely cool!  I mean, think about it, two powerful duelists in Domino City , and would do anything for one other.

My friends back home would freak if they found out that I've befriended all of you." 

I begin to smile a bit, as Jemma's card suddenly grows brighter than before. "Uh, Jemma, your Sliverwing Gandora , it's glowing brighter." 

Jemma looks at the card, "It means that Yugi is somewhere close by, and could be in major trouble." 

Joey said, "Then, let's get going! We have to save Yugi at all cost!" 

We arrived at some building as Jemma groans. 

"Jemma, what is it?" Atem asks, worried. 

"It's a dimensional rift between our worlds. Someone is trying to break through the Time Void." 

"The Time what?" Duke asks. 

"It's holds all space and time, and I figure that is what causes our dimensions to exist in the first place. Pretty typical for a daughter of a scientist to know. " A voice said.

As the girl came out, Jemma was in compete shock.

"Nicole?"

"You know her?" Rebecca asks. Jemma nods, "Yeah, she's from my dimension back home. I don't get it.

How is she here, and why is acting so different?"

I look above her as there was Yugi, who was strapped in the gateway and was fading.

"Yugi!" I cried.

Atem tries to get his best friend, but he couldn't as electricity shocks him.

"Atem! " Mana exclaims as she helps him up . "We have to get Yugi out of that thing!" Joey said.

Nicole said, "The only way you'll getting out is by dueling."

I said, "A duel, huh? Well, I'm up for it, I'm not going to let you hurt any of my friends!" 

As I was about to raise my duel disk, Jemma quickly jumps into the gateway as she raises her own duel disk. 

Atem yells, "Jemma, what you doing?!?" 

"Something I have to deal with. I'm going to duel Nicole. She's my friend from my dimension, so I have to be the one who should duel her!" 

Nicole laughs as I noticed the familiar purple clouds surrounding the arena. 

"Oh, no. It's a Shadow Game!" Joey said. 

Atem looks worried, as he said, "I just hope that Jemma knows what she is doing."
