Rebecca

I have to admit, I never thought of seeing Joey or the gang again, along with this mysterious girl. 

"Beck, I'm actually am grateful for the ride, but how you know where to find us?" Joey asks, with a curious look.

"Well, my grandpa told me to look for you guys. It seems important, and he was serious about it, and scared." 

The group exchanged looks at one other as we arrived at the historical museum.

"This brings back memories." Joey said, as T'ea said, "No kidding. This is where Atem, Yugi, and I discovered that he was Pharaoh who saved Egypt-"

The mysterious girl said, interrupting, "500 years ago, been trapped by the puzzle, by erasing his own name and memories and been sharing Yugi's soul as a vessel." 

T'ea said, "Wow, you really do know a lot from your dimension, Jemma. It sounds like this stuff doesn't affect you one bit." 

Jemma shrug, "It's basically everything that goes around in Domino City. Trust me, I know things. 

Still, Rebecca, I thought you were in college by now. What does this really mean?"

"Well, according to my calculations, we have a duelist who is rebellious and very delusional that Yugi is the bad guy." 

"Professor Hawkins! I never thought of seeing you here." Jemma exclaims.

"Indeed, and you my dear make an ordinary timing, as I know that you were from a different dimension." 

I look at Jemma with amazement and curiosity, as she blushes , rubbing her head. 

Atem asks, "You're from a different Dimension?!?" 

"Yeah, my dad kind of sent me here by mistake and I don't know how to get back though. So I guess I'm stuck here for a while." Jemma said sheepishly.

I said, "How about we have a duel?"

Everyone was stunned at my request. 

"A duel? With me?" Jemma asks, pointing at herself. 

"Yeah, why not?" I said, grinning.

I never thought of having an actual real duel before. I barely know my own deck! 

Joey begins to nudge me, "Com'on, Jemma, it would be a great opportunity to know your deck better, and you could say that you would face the King of Games once we rescued him.

Besides, I'm itching to watch you duel ever since you summoned Sliverwing. I bet that you can make awesome tactics that can help you later." 

I look at Mana and Atem. Atem gave me an encouraging thumbs up for support.

I knew that this is one of the things that would help me get the confidence I need. 

"Ok, you got yourself a duel, Beck. Let's do this outside, though. I really don't want to break anything in the museum do we?"

We head outside, as Joey, Atem, Professor Hawkins, T'ea , and Mana looked at the battlefield. 

"You ready?" Rebecca asks, as she raises her duel disk. 

"Well, that is what we're here for, isn't?" I replied. 

"Let's duel!" We yelled in unison. 

Rebecca said, "I'll start. I summon Witch of the Black Forest in attack, and place two cards face down, and end my turn. " 

I thought, "I see, she's starting out with Witch of the Black Forest. As I recalled correctly, that card has level 4 monster, and it's an Spellcaster Effect Monster with 110 ATK points. 

And my best bet that I have to encounter it with the same amount of attack points as her monster. 

Well, as Yugi say all the time, heart of the cards, guide me." 

I picked up my card as it reveals a card , "Cool! It's the Black Luster Ritual! But in order to summon Black Luster Soldier, I have to make a sacrifice two of my monsters on the field.

I have to make my move. " 

I said, "I summon Armored Protector Dragon and Baby Raccoon Ponpoko in attack mode, but wait, I'm not done yet.

You may seen this before, but let's save the suspense for later. I place one card face down and end my turn. "

Rachel was confused as she asks, "What you place one card face down, Jemma? It doesn't make any sense!"

I said, "Like I said, I would surprise you later."  

Joey

This is outstanding! It's hard to believe that this is Jemma's first time dueling in our dimension, even though she knew exactly what type of cards that Rebecca is using. 

"Joey, is something on your mind?" Atem asks, curiously as he watches the two girls dueling. 

"It's kind of unreal, Atem. Sure that Beck is a great duelist, but I'm curious of how Jemma is going to pull it off, considering that she is from a different dimension." 

Mana said, "Yeah, you do have a point there, Joey. I mean, it's weird that she is from a different reality . " 

I shrug, "Well, it's not entirely her fault that she stumbled here in the first place. She didn't know that her dad makes a teleportation device and didn't tell her how to get back. 

For now, she's willing to rescue Yugi from this new foe." 

Atem said, "Yeah, you're right. I mean, it feels like she really does know a lot about Duel Monsters." 

Rebecca said, "I play my facedown card, Graceful Charity!" 

"Oh, man, let me take a wild guess, discard 2 cards from your hand, and gain two new cards. That sounds like you, Beck." Jemma said, calmly.

"Yeah, you're in big trouble, since I played Graceful Charity, it allows me to summon Shadow Ghoul in attack mode! 

Shadow Ghoul, attack Jemma directly!" 

Jemma said, "Not so fast! I activate Mirror Force!" 

Atem, Mana, T'ea and I were shock. 

"How did that get in there?" I ask. 

"Easy, I discard it in the graveyard before the duel even started . I knew that I needed in just in case Shadow Ghoul shows up, so my life points are safe from any damage, but it counters the monster's attack back to Rebecca's life points." 

Rebecca groans, "You knew that was my plan all along! You planned this from the start!" 

"Not entirely, Beck. I have some trick on my sleeve, remember?

And I believe this duel is over." 

Atem, T'ea , Mana and I were confused by her words. Does she have a card that will defeat Rebecca?

"I sacrifice Armor Protector Dragon and Baby Raccoon Ponpoko to summon this!

Black Luster Ritual!"

"What!" Rebecca said as the monsters disappear.

"Remember this monster that helped Atem and Yugi in Duelist Kingdom? Well, welcome back , Black Luster Soldier!"

The Black Luster Soldier appears at Jemma's side as I exclaimed in total surprise, "I can't believe that was Jemma's face down card!

Talk about luck, I didn't think that Jemma actually summoned a monster of Yugi's deck like that."

 "I don't think Rebecca didn't expect of that encounter either. That was something I never seen before." Mana said, so stunned of watching a duel.

"Is that really the Black Luster Soldier that Yugi have in his deck?!?" Rebecca said, totally stunned.

"Now, my friend, do what you know best! Chaos Blade Attack!" 

Rebecca's monster disappears as we covered our eyes. 

"Outstanding, I never seen it in action before!" Mana exclaimed, holding onto me. 

Jemma smiles as Rebecca's life points go down to zero. 

Jemma walks up to her, offering her a hand, "Great duel, Beck! Thank you for letting me have my first duel in this dimension, I learn a lot from you." 

Rebecca smiles, "You're welcome. You're not bad duelist yourself. Just keep believing in yourself and things well go so sailing from there." 

Jemma smiles at her comment, as she felt something . 

I said, "What is it?"

Jemma pulls out her Sliverwing Blast Gandora , as the light got brighter. 

"What's with Sliverwing Blast Gandora? The card is reactiong somehow." T'ea exclaims. 

"I don't know , but let's find out." Atem said, as we race off to find the King of Games.
