Kirito: that was a close one. That weapon might have some special ability.

Asuna: we gotta have tanks on the front row and keep switching out to wear it down.

Kirito: yeah it would better to have ten shield users.

Asuna: shield users huh?

Kirito: what? What's wrong?

Asuna: you are. You're hiding something are you?

Kirito: what are you talking about?

Asuna: you and Yami are one handed sword players. A shield can be useful, but for me I can't because it will slow down my rapier, others will say it looks dumb. Then what about the other sword that you ordered from Liz? That's kinda sus.

Kirito was getting nervous that his secret was going to be revealed but Asuna smiles.

Then they heard many footsteps and gotten ready to see other players and Kirito know that person.

Klein: hey Kirito how you doing buddy?

Then Klein introduce himself but Asuna apologizes that she's already met someone. The Furin Kazan guild were shocked to meet Asuna. This stopped them to hear more footsteps.

Kirito: wait is that the army?

Klein: that's the massive guild that runs the first floor. What are they doing up here?

Asuna: ever since they sustained heavy damage clearing floor 25, they're more focusing on strengthening their guild than clearing levels and haven't been gong to the front lines. Wait there's more is that the Moonlit Blackcats along with Yuna and Nautilus!?

????: at ease!!

Then the guild sat down taking a break while Moonlit Blackcats, Yuna and Nautilus walked towards Kirito and Asuna.

????: I'am Lieutenant Colonel Kobatz of the  Aincrad Liberation Army.

Kirito: Kirito, I'm solo. Sachi? What are you doing here?

Sachi: well we came here to help you don't worry we're at level 80.

Kobatz: have you cleared the area up ahead?

Kirito; yes we did. Where are you Yami!? We have a map leading to the boss room.

Kobatz: then I'd like you to hand over that map data to us.

Klein: you're telling us to hand it over for free!? Do you know how much a pain in the ass mapping is!?

Kobatz: we share the information and resources equally with civilian players!!  And we maintain order in battle to liberate all players from this world as quickly as possible!! Therefore, you are duty-bound to cooperate with us!!

Asuna: wait hold on.

Kirito: back off. I was going to go public with this data when we go back to town anyways. It's not a big deal.

The gunshots were getting closer and closer. Everyone gotten their weapons ready and it was Yami who was shooting a Famas with had a dragon camo and attachments.

Nautilus: what the!?

Yami: eat some else freakbags!!

Each bullets were eating the monsters heads. Killing left and right, he takes out the empty clip and reloads a new clip. More monsters charged in and he shoots them all down.

Yami: that's the last of them.

He puts away his Famas and looks to see everyone has saw him using a firearm.

Yami: oh shit.

Ducker: Yami is that a firearm!?

Yami: yes Ducker

Sasamaru: Seriously? You never told us about that?

Tetsuo: what are you?

Keita: something that you're hiding?

Yami: I'm a outsider, a observer.

Klein: Observer?

Kirito: wait do you mean by that?

Yami: that's all the stuff I can tell. Now we'll be dealing with the Blue Eyes Demon.

Sachi: but should we be prepared?

Yami: hold on I got it.

He takes out a orb and crushes it. It refilled everyone's health and SP.

Kobatz: what is that?

Yami: it's Soma, it fully heals all party member's HP and SP but cannot be used to dead allies.

Kobatz: thank you now men continue!!

Then they went on leaving the group.

Yuna: are they going to be okay?

Yami: we'll keep an eye on them. Even with the Soma they're not truly take on the boss yes they have numbers but the levels are only around the 70's. If they were higher leveled, more players and been ready then it would be easy.

Kirito: yeah it would foolish enough.

They all nodded and followed the army leaving only Asuna and Klein. Asuna was going to follow them but Klein stopped her.

Klein: Um, well Asuna...You see He's unarticulated, unsociable and he's an idiot who's addicted to combat. But take care of Kirito for me!!

(Quick Timeskip)

Blades were clashing echoing the floor as a Lizard Swordsman was defeated by Klein.

Klein: the only thing ahead is the boss rom, right? Maybe they used an item to go back?

Then they head a scream as Sachi, Yuna, Kirito, Asuna, Nautilus, and Yami ran towards the boss room.

Klein: hey!!

Then monsters began to spawn in and Klein ready up his weapon. The six players ran towards the path to the boss room.

Asuna: idiots!!

The finally arrived at the boss room.

Kirito: hey, all of you okay?

They gasped to see the players down breathing heavily. The boss was only down to 3 bars of HP then the boss swings it's blade damaging them.

Kirito: what are you doing!? Hurry up and use your teleport crystals!!

Army Member 1: It's no use!! The c-crystals aren't working-AHHHHHHHHH!!

Asuna: There hasn't been a boss room with a trap like this before!!

Then Sachi, Kirito and Yami remembered back at Floor 27 where Yami stopped them. Yami's throat was getting tighter.

Kobatz: For the Liberatoom Army, there is no such word as "retreat"!! Fight!! Fight!!

Nautilus: you fools...

Them Klein arrives.

Klein: what's going on?

Yuna: they can't use the teleport crystals in the boss room.

Sachi: if we go in, we might be able to open up an escape route, but..

Klein: isn't there something we can do?

Yami remembers their deaths on his TV. Seeing them die never having the chance to continue on and Sachi's last moments before death.

Kobatz: Everyone....charge!!

Then they charged and Yami yells at them.

Yami: no don't do it!!

The boss charges up a attack and shoots out purple energy spheres causing dust to be in the air and swings it's large Zanbato Sword at them damaging them and swings at Kobatz and he was sending towards the group.

Kirito: hey are you okay?

Kobatz's helmet was destroyed as tears was out his eyes.

Kobatz: Impossible...

Then he turned into polygons and he was dead.

Asuna: No...

Sachi: he's gone...

Yuna: It's too late and he's dead...

Then a scream was heard, the Gleam Eyes Demon was going to kill another player as Asuna was shaking in fear.

Asuna: No...I can't...NO!!!!

She charges behind the boss and thrust attacks it. It turns around and punches her sending crashing down to the floor. It thrust his sword at her but Yami takes out Zangetsu and clashes it's blade making it miss Asuna.

Yami: Get back!!

She nodded and jumped away as Klein, his guild, Moonlit BlackCats, Yuna, Nautilus help the guild members. Kirito and Yami attack the boss's back. It attacks them damaging them as they did the same clashing the large blades. Kirito and Asuna'a health are still green but he was worried.

Yami: why is my power not working!? I should've been powerful and clear this game already!! Wait no...

Asuna: Yami, Kirito!!

Klein: Kirito, Yami!!

Yuna, Sachi, Nautilus: Kirito!! Yami!!

The boss swings it's sword as both Yami and Kirito ran off but the sword it's the ground and they landed.

Kirito: I've got to use it then?

Yami: I've gotta use this release it's all or nothing!!

They looked at their friends, they looked at the Guild as their Health were at red. The boss thrust it's blade as both clashed it.

Yami: dammit!! It's not the time to be indecisive!!

Kirito: Sachi, Yuna, Nautilus, Asuna, Klein we need you to hold it for 10 seconds!!

They all nodded and charged at the monster as Yami charges up while Kirito opens his menu. They all attack it one by one damaging the boss.

Kirito: it's ready switch!!

They got back and Kirito blocks the attack as another sword appears out of his hand everyone was shocked.

But then they all stopped to see Yami as his aura appeared.

Sachi: Yami what's going on!?

They backed away as Yami began to remember his past before coming here.

(Flashback)

Yami: mom!!

A car crashed into her. The driver got out and apologized to them. This effected the family a lot.

Yami: ever since you were in the hospital everyone was effected by that. Dad was working overtime, coming home late, crying, my brother and sister rarely talked, having bruises on their bodies. But when we there by the bed you cried and died, everyone died because of your death.

Mother(FB): I'm sorry...My life is near to it's end.

Yami: I wanted to get stronger but I've gotten weaker. But now I'm here to save everyone but three deaths and I'm remembering our family's death.

(End Flashback)

Yami: I won't back down. I'll will protect everyone, I want more power!!

Everyone felt his energy even the other floors and a certain scrapped boss felt his energy.

Yami: I'm not going to lose everyone!! I WILL SAVE EVERYONE WITHIN MY POWER!!

He felt someone was hugging him like a mother's love and he hears a familiar voice, his mother.

Mother: awaken your power, protect everyone within your heart my son. I love you...

He gripped his other hand which was holding Zangetsu. His clothes were ripping apart as he said the word.

Yami: Ban..kai!!

His eyes glows as Zangetsu shot out a Getsuga Tenshou. The monster blocks it but still taken damage. The dust was covering Yami as everyone was worried about him.

Yuna: Yami, please be okay...

The dust was lifted up, revealing Yami's robe is replaced with a long-sleeved, ankle-length black coat (or shihakushō) with red lining, which is closed at his chest and left to flare out into ragged ends, much like that of a certain person himself. His sword was shrinks his sword down to a daitō(Long Sword) with a black blade instead. The cross guard has four prongs bent out to form the shape of the manji. Instead of the cloth his Shikai form had, a short length of chain with a broken link at the end dangles from the base of the hilt.

Yami: Tensa Zangetsu or Heavenly Chain Slaying Moon.

He puts his hand on his face using a hollow mask only a part of his hollow mask.

Yami:*hollow voice* well now you saw Kirito's duel wielding and my Bankai along with my hollow mask. We'll finish this come on Kirito.

He nodded and they attack the boss one by one. Each hit was going crazy amount of damage. The first hit is a horizontal swing from left to right with the right sword, immediately followed by an uppercut with the left sword. Kirito then jumps up and slashes the target with both swords from left to right while spinning, twice. Kirito lands facing the target and slashes an X from top to bottom, before inversely slashing the X again from bottom to top. Kirito then leaps at the target and makes two diagonal slashes from the same starting point, with the left sword heading from top to bottom to the left, while the right sword heads from bottom to top toward the right.

Klein: what is that skill?

Afterwards, Kirito reverses his grip on the two swords and slashes another X with both swords from top to bottom. Kirito then does a barrel-roll like maneuver while slashing at the target, like a corkscrew. Kirito then slashes another two X's at the target, first from top to bottom and then bottom to top. Kirito then makes a diagonal slash with the right sword, top-right to bottom-left, then spins left and uses this momentum to deal a horizontal, right to left slash with the left sword. Kirito then, at a very high speed, makes an uppercut with the right sword; then another with the left sword, a downward slash with the right sword, then a downward diagonal slash towards the right with the left sword, spins and repeats the previous attack, and thrusts the right-handed sword out. The final slash is a forceful downward lunge with the left sword.

Yami: not enough let me finish this.

He charges towards the boss in fast speeds. First attack was a upward slash, then it was downward slash with a Million Stabs, next he spins the blade backwards and slices the hips, the legs, and the back.

Sachi: I'll help him!!

She rushes towards Yami as she swings her spear. Yami smiles as they together attack the boss. It's health was getting lower and lower as Sachi swings her spear upwards and downwards. She backed away as Yami charges up his attack.

Yami: GETSUGA....TENSHOU!!!

Zangetsu absorbing Yami's spiritual energy, releases highly condensed spiritual energy at the tip of the blade, which, magnifying the slash attack, flies forward. The boss couldn't react in time was hit by the wave and it did great deal of damage and it was defeated.

Yami: I...Won..

A message appears.

Congratulations!!

Yami sees Kirito's HP low so he uses a Bead to fully heal Kirito. His body began to feel weak as he drops to the floor.

(Few Seconds Later)

????: Yami!!

Yami slowly began to hear a voice. He opens his eyes to see his mother but he closes his eyes again to see Asuna with tears on her eyes.

Yami: ow...how long was I out?

Asuna: a few seconds...

She hugs him along with Kirito, Sachi, and Yuna.

Asuna: you idiot!! Acting you so recklessly!!

Yami: if you all hold me too tightly, I might pass out longer...

Klein walks in and gave them the news.

Klein: Kobatz and two others died.

Kirito: we haven't lost anyone to a boss fight since Floor 67.

Klein: that idiot!! There's no point if you died. Anyways, what was that just now?

Yami: it was Kirito's duel welding skills.

Klein: it's not on the broker's list. This is exclusives to you Kirito!! Keeping quite about such amazing skill.

Kirito: I was looking at my skill window, about six months ago, and I just found it there. But if people found out that I have this skill then...

Yami: people would gone crazy desperate for that skill.

Klein: yeah, since MMO gamers are the jealous type. I'm too good a guy to care, but lots of people would be really envious. Not to mention...

Them: mmm?

Klein:*smirks* Well, suffering builds character, so solider on, young men.

Kirito: whatever you say.

Klein: I want to know what is that power you Yami did?

Yami: you know the title Soul Reaper?

Klein: yeah?

Yami: well I'm actually have a power of spiritual energy.

Everyone were shocked to hear it.

Klein: we should trigger the warp gate...do you all want to go?

Kirito: no, We'll leave it to you. We're exhausted.

Klein: got it, have a safe trip back.

Then Klein walks away but stops for a moment.

Klein: and well...Kirito...Yami.

Them: yeah?

Klein: when you ran in to rescue those army guys..*sniff* well you know I was glad. That's all. See you around.

Then he walks away as Yami asked his friends.

Yami: hey what's wrong?

Sachi: we were scared. If you died we don't know what we'll do....

Yami: guys, I'm going to be okay. I've unlocked Bankai. Hey I event have Star, Darkrai and Cressilia with me. Even my demon summoning are with me. I'll be okay, you guys should level up more. But I'll help you. Asuna you want to leave guild because you party us and I'm happy that you did it and I want you guys to join us.

They nodded as Yami sends them a party invite which they accept it as they stayed there to rest and recollect.

(October 19, 2024, Floor 50: Algade)

Agil: a Blue Eye Demon boss, duel welding, spiritual power, a gun and you defeated the boss with a huge wave attack.

Kirito: right up my face. Now swordsmen and brokers were at my house now they know I live.

Yami: same here but they find my camping spot and it's a pain in the ass.

Lisbeth: well it was our little secret but now you show it.

Then Asuna come in running.

Asuna: we've gotten a problem now!!

(October 19, 2024 Floor 55: Grandzam)

????: I believe we've never met.

Kirito: actually, we spoke shortly at a conference on floor 67...

Yami: Guild Commander Heathcliff.

Heathcliff: That was a hard battle wasn't it? We nearly lost people, too. We maybe the top guild but we barely get by because of the amount of troops. And now here you are trying to poach our best players. I don't know what to say.

Yami: if she's the important then you've should've chosen a better bodyguard than that bitchy Kuradeel same with your rules it's nothing but bullshit.

Heathcliff: you have our apologies of any trouble with Kuradeel. But you both must understand that we can't allow our second in command to leave the guild like that.

Yami: then you're a pussy.

Heathcliff: Kirito if you want her, then take her with your duel blade I challenge you to duel. If you can defeat me in combat, you may take Asuna. But if you lose, you will join the Knights of the Blood. You Yami I'm not sure about you but if he loses then you'll join.

Kirito thought about this for a second and looked at Asuna and she gave him a worried look in response. Kirito looked back at Heathcliff and gave him his answer.

Kirito: Alright, I'll accept it. If duel you want,
then duel you got. Don't expect me to go
down before the fight.

Yami: also even if you win and I'm still wearing my clothing. I'll make sure to expose your ass and make sure you get no bitches and die as a virgin.
