After agreeing to meet everyone the for the next day, Asuna logged out of Alfheim Online along with her niece, Yui, and currently, Asuna looked at her niece sitting on the edge of the bed, shuddering underneath the bedsheets around her shoulders as it was cold.

Yui: aunty, it's so cold.

Asuna: I'm so sorry, Yui. I'll turn the air conditioner up a bit to warm it up.

Asuna turns to the air conditioner control and press the light switch, the lights came on, lighting up the room before Asuna turns up the temperature just by a slight movement of her finger sliding left over the adjusting button.
After that, Asuna stands up from the bed and addresses her niece.

Asuna: Since you're already bathed and you don't have to change out your clothes, you can warm up in the meantime, Yui.

Yui: 0-Okay, aunty.

Yui nodded cutely underneath the warm blanket before tugging the blanket closer to her body.

Asuna: It's a good thing we laid the blanket over ourselves before we FullDive, right?

She then went to her wardrobe that automatically flips open, revealing her clothes hanging over the length of the metal bar inside the wardrobe.

Asuna: After this, let's just hope the food remained warm for us. We don't want to eat cold ones now.

She said before glancing at her daughter nodding, causing her to stifle a small laugh.
Turning over to the selection of her clothing, Asuna smiled to herself before picking one dress.

After changing, Asuna led Yui out the room and towards the dining room. Since they were on the second floor of the house, they climbed downstairs.

In the midst of climbing the stairs while holding onto her daughter's hand, Asuna glances at a familiar face at the front door.
When she and Yui climbed downstairs and stand at the base of the stairs, Asuna was been called out to the woman.

Asuna: good evening, Sada.

The woman turns around to see Asuna and
Yui smiling at her before bowing in appreciation.

Yui: Goodnight, Sada.

Asuna: Thanks for coming every day. Sorry to keep you here so late.

Asuna apologizes as the woman named Sada shakes her head.

Sada: Not at all, Asuna ojou-sama. This is my job.

Sada is a petite woman in her early 40's.
She has medium-long brown hair that is tied at her back, while two large forelocks part to the sides of her face. She also has brown eyes and a mole below her lip on the left side of her face.

Asuna: can I ask, are my mother and brother already back?

Sada: Kouichirou will be out late. Your mother is in the dining room.

Asuna: I see. Thanks. Anyway, you may go. Sorry to keep you.

Asuna smiled as she bows her head in appreciation followed by Yui.

In response, Sada bowed her head in return.

Sada: I'll be going, Asuna Ojou-sama. Yui Ojou-sama.

Yui waved her hand towards Sada, to which Sada waved back with a smile, loving the young girl who had come into her mistress' life just a year ago. She could remember the first day when the girl had come to her mistress' house and she felt happy, seeing her mistress smiled ever so wide.

That event was then a reminiscence of the first time she saw her mistress smiled widely.

Sada: If I may excuse myself...

Sada bid lastly before she walked through the front door, leaving Asuna and Yui watching over her.

As the door closes, Asuna looks toward Yui.

Asuna: Let's go, Yui.

Yui nodded in return and the two of them went onwards to the dining room around the corner of the house.

Walking further through one of the hallways of the house, Asuna and Yui arrive at a door after some time.

Gripping the doorknob, Asuna twists pushes the door and the two of them were greeted by Kyouko sitting on one of the chairs underneath the long dining table.

Kyouko: Asuna. Yui.

Kyouko turned her gaze towards them.

Asuna: Sorry, mother. I almost forgot about dinner.

Asuna reasoned bowing her head to her mother followed by Yui.

After she bowed, Asuna lifted her head and motioned Yui to sit before her.

When the two were comfortably seated, Kyouko looks at them before gesturing for them to eat, to which Asuna nods and proceed to hand the food laid out for them to Yui before herself.

Once she handed the food over to both of them, Asuna looked over to Yui, seeing her laying the white cloth that was set on the table over her lap.

Smiling, Asuna folded open the cloth in her hand and lay it over on her lap too.

Asuna: mother, why haven't you eaten yet?

Kyouko: I'm waiting for you. Unfortunately, your brother has some late-night business over at his workplace and cannot be here with us.

Asuna: I heard it from Sada.

She nods.

Asuna: How was your day, mother?

Kyouko: It's been fine.

Kyouko spoke after eaten a piece of food before continue.

Kyouko: How was your day?

Asuna: It was enjoyable.

She answered with a small smile.

Asuna: Right, Yui?

Yui: Yes, Aunt! A few of our friends were with us and we spent time with them over tea.
It was so relaxing!

Yui said smiling as she recollected the relaxing moment spent with her friends.

Kyouko: If it is relaxing as you say, Yui.

Kyouko replied before she sips on her tea while Yui smiled at her and continue eating along with Asuna.

(Small Skip)

Yui: I'm finished.

She said as she put aside the utensils after she was done. Her plate which had been full of food had been reduced to food stains staining the clean plate.

Asuna: That's good, Yui.

Asuna then took a folded napkin and gently brushes away the food staining on the corner of Yui's mouth.

Asuna: Since you're done, wash up and then Aunty will meet you upstairs, alright? You can talk to Papa and Mama when you get upstairs. My phone is beside the bed.

Yui smiled at the mention of her father and mother before she nodded obediently to her aunt.

Yui: Alright, aunty!

She then picked the white cloth over her lap and put it over the edge of the table. She then stands up and pushes her chair underneath the table.

Yui: Excuse me.

Kyouko nods before the young girl walked out of the room.

When the door closes, Kyouko puts down the teacup from her mouth to the table and looks at Asuna who was dabbing her mouth with a napkin, having been finished with her meal.

A small frown appeared on her face as she thought about something regarding her daughter lately, much to her displeasure of thinking about the subject.

Kyouko: Were you using that machine again, Asuna?

A sudden question was thrown at Asuna who looked up at her mother.

Asuna: Yes, I'd promised to do my homework with everyone.

Kyouko: You need to move your own hands when you do it, or you won't learn anything.

Asuna: Everyone lives far away, including Yami. I can meet them easily through the Amusphere.

Kyouko: If you're using that machine, you're not really meeting them. And you should do your homework alone. If you do it with others, you'll just end up playing around. Listen.. you don't have time to play. You're two years behind the other children. To make up for it, you have to study two years harder.

Asuna: I am studying, mother. Yami helps me through them whenever I don't get the answers. Not to mention, I printed out my second-quarter report card and put it on your desk.

Kyouko: I saw it... But a report card from a school like that means nothing.

Asuna's eyes widen in shock at her mother's insulting words.

Asuna: ...A school like that? What do you mean...

Kyouko: Look at this, for the third quarter, I will ask Yami if he can teach you in addition to your schooling. If not, I'll hire a tutor instead.
He cannot always teach you after school. I'm not hiring an internet teacher, as is popular these days. I'll have them come to this house.

Asuna: W-Wait, this is so sudden...

Kyouko: Take a look at this.

She then handed over a mobile pad to Asuna as Asuna take it and looked down at the mobile pad which displayed a page illustrating a school and the entrance exam.

Asuna: What is all this about? An entry exam guide?

Kyouko: For your third year, I managed to convince a friend of mine to let you take the entrance exam for the high school he runs. A real school, not that makeshift one they put together. It uses a credit system, so you'll be able to graduate in the first half of the year.
Then you can start college in September.

Asuna: W-Wait! You can't just decide that!
And why now? Why do you decide to talk about this now when you could have talked about it before? The way it is, I like my school! There are lots of good teachers that taught every other student the same as I do! I can study there! I don't need to go to another school!

Hearing her daughter's statement, Kyouko released a sigh.

Kyouko: I did my research lately. The school you're attending is barely worthy of the name.
The curriculum is sloppy. The classes are easy. The teachers are a bunch of nobodies, with no real experience. I've heard that Yami didn't attended collage, it was a waste of a chance to go to collage.

Asuna: You don't have to put it like that...

Kyouko: They claim it takes care of the students whose education was delayed because of the accident, but they really want all the children who spent two years killing each other in one place, so they can monitor them. It's practically a prison.

Asuna: I'm one of the ones "who spent two years killing each other" too.

Asuna mutters quietly but as she looked at her mother, she realized that her mother catches the words and Asuna hurriedly looked away from her mother's gaze.

Kyouko: All your friends are taking entrance exams this year. Doesn't that bother you a little?

Asuna: I don't mind if it takes me a bit longer to start college. And it's not as if I absolutely have to attend college right now.

Kyouko: You do! You have talent. You do know all your father and I have done to nurture it, right?

Asuna: Isn't it up to the individual to decide how they'll live? Right now, I don't have the answer, but I think I'm about to find what I really want to do! I want to keep going to this school for another year, so I can find it!

Kyouko: *sigh* No matter how many years you're there, it won't give you any more options. Listen, Asuna. Your mother doesn't want you to lead a miserable life. I want you to have a career you can be proud of, no matter to whom you're speaking.

Asuna: My career? Then why did you make me meet that man in Kyoto during New Year's? He spoke as if I already engaged to him. Mother, you're the one keeping me from a career I can be proud of!

Take a glass of water in front of her, Kyouko takes a sip of her drink before she finally spoke.

Kyouko: Marriage is part of your career.

She then puts down her glass of water.

The TV turns on by itself as a hand came out and pulls itself and it was Yami or so they thought.

Fatal.E Yami's words as Kyouko then immediately stood up from her chair as Asuna looked away from her mother. While Fatal E.Yami chuckles.

Kyouko: Asuna, come back right this moment! Asuna!

Asuna just ignored Kyouko's shouting as she closed the door and silent walking to her room without saying anything as her hairs shadowing her eyes. Kyouko looks at Fatal E.Yami.

Kyouko: how dare you!?

He vanishes with a dark laugh as Kyouko felt a chill on her spine. Once Asuna arrived at her room, she peeked inside and saw Yui already fallen asleep on her bed as Asuna then activated the air conditioner of the room.

Asuna proceeded to lay on the bed beside Yui with her face as she released a sigh of tiredness.

Asuna then turned at her sleeping daughter and strokes her hair as Yui smiles in her sleep feeling her aunt's hand on her head as Asuna can't help but crack a small smile.

Asuna looked at her desk seeing the picture of her, Yami and Yui as Asuna's eyes starts to get teary.

Asuna: Yui...Yami...

Asuna: I want to say with Yami and realize our dreams together. Living together along with Yui and the others, but...

She then recalled the words Yami told her 2 years ago before their fight in SAO with Skull Reaper.

Flashback

Yami: Asuna...you're strong. Stronger than me within the heart...

Asuna: But I'm not strong at all! It was only in that world that I had the strength to fight. Asuna the Flash of the Knights of the Blood is gone... In the real world, I'm powerless...I'm weak....you're the world's strongest Yami...

Asuna starts crying from the bottom of her heart while hugging Yui as Yui hugged her back and it was currently raining outside.

It was the next day. Currently, Kitsune who just logged in and he then started to make his way to the island on floor 24th.

The floor 24th is mostly covered in water, with an innumerable amount of isles dotting the landscape that is connected via floating bridges stretching out in all directions. At the center of the floor is the city named Panareze.

Panareze is designed as a man-made island in the center of a large lake, connected to innumerable other isles through floating bridges stretching out in all directions.

As Kitsune was making his way there, he saw Kirito laying on the grass nearby the island where Zekken at and Kitsune decide to fly down to him.

Kitsune: Yo, Kirito.

Kirito opens his eyes and saw Kitsune standing at his left. Kirito then lifts his body and sitting on the grass and looked at Kitsune.

Kirito: Hey, Kitsune. I heard from Sachi and the others said that you are going to take on Zekken.

Kitsune sits down on the grass beside his boyfriend as they continue to talk about Zekken.

Kitsune: Yes, I am. I'm surprised that Leafa and you lose to that Zekken.

Kirito: Yeah. Zekken is insanely strong and fasts almost like you.

Kitsune: Really? Anyway, why do you say that I'm the only that could beat Zekken? You know that my Shunpo is faster

Kirito: I said that because there is something that bothered me when I fought Zekken.

Kitsune: What is it?

Kirito took a deep breath as he looked at the players flying to the island where Absolute
Sword was holding their duel.

Kirito: I asked Zekken, "You're living entirely in this world, aren't you?". Zekken responded with a wordless smile and an incredibly fast Sword Skill. That speed was beyond the limits. And the only person I know whose power transcends the limits is you.

Kitsune: "Living entirely in this world?" Do you mean a heavy user, someone always on ALO?

Kirito shakes his head in denial.

Kirito: No. Not in a sense that they're an ALO addict. It's more than Zekken seems like a product of the FullDive environment itself.

Kitsune: What does that mean?

Kirito: I'm sure you will understand that, once you cross sword with Zekken.

Kitsune: Alright.

As Kitsune and Kirito were talking, they didn't notice that Asuna, Lisbeth, Sachi, Silica, and Leafa had flown down to them and stand behind them.

Lisbeth: There you two are. It's nearly time.

Finally noticed the rest of the group already, Kitsune and Kirito stand up from their sitting position and faced the group.

Kitsune: Right. Let's go.

Both of them meet up with the others, they then headed towards the island on floor 24th.

As the group arrived at the island, they saw that a duel was already in progress meaning that someone already challenges Zekken and currently fighting them.

Suddenly, one salamander player fell from the sky and hit the ground creating a smokescreen. After the smoked die down, the salamander player got up and held his hands up in the sky.

Salamander Player: You got me! I surrender!
Resign!

RESIGN

A resign notification appeared above the salamander player meaning that he resigned from the duel as Zekken winning the duel.
Everyone then started to cheer for Zekken for winning the duel.

ALO Player A: Amazing! That's a sixty-seven win streak!! That's insane!!

ALO Player B: Can no one stop her?

After weaving through the crowd, Argonaut saw a young slim Imp swordswoman with milky white with a hint of purple skin, lustrous and gorgeous, long, purplish-black hair, and red eyes flying down to the ground as she makes a front flip and landed on the ground.
She wore obsidian chest armor, a bluebottle violet tunic, and a windswept skirt of the same color beneath the armor. A thin, black sheath hung on her waist.

The Imp swordsman then put her left hand on the chest and did a bow indicating gratitude as the player around them started to cheer.

As the girl turned around, she made a peace sign with a smile on her face.

???: V!

Asuna's eyes widen in surprise as they expecting to see a burly man but instead, Zekken was a girl and on top of that cute.

Asuna: Um, Liz.

Lisbeth: What?

Asuna: Zekken's a girl!

Lisbeth: Huh? I never mentioned that?

Asuna: No!

Hearing that, everyone then glared at Kirito who stand beside Kitsune as Kirito got behind his boyfriend as he sighs.

Sachi: Wait... Kirito is the reason you lost...

Kirito: O-Of course not... I definitely didn't go easy on her because she's a girl. I mean it. Really. Mostly, I guess...

Sachi: Oh, really?

They then turned around from Kirito while crossing her arms as the others giggle at the couple while Kitsune chuckles as Sachi gave him a poke on the cheek.

???: Who wants to challenge me next?

Lisbeth then looked at Kitsine with smirked.

Liz: Here, that's your cue

Kitsune: Alright. Can you give me some time to observe her skill first?

Lisbeth: No, you can observe her skill while you fighting her. Now get going, fox boy!

Lisbeth then pushed Kitsune into the circle and after he stops himself from fall to the ground, he looked back at Lisbeth with annoyance as Lisbeth smile innocently.

Kitsune releases a sigh as he looked at the Zekken girl standing in front of him and she looked at him with a smile on her face.

Zekken: Oh, Oni-san. Do you wanna fight?

Kitsune: Sure. Why not.

Hearing that Kitsine agree on the duel, Zekken snapped her finger with her right hand.

Zekken: Okay!

Taking a deep breath, Kirsune steps forward a bit more until he stands in front of Zekken with a dead look.

Kitsune: Could we go with the standard rules?

Zekken: Sure thing. Use all the magic and items you want. This is all I need, though.

She said while put her left hand on top of her sword pommel where a thin, black sheath hung on her waist.

Kitsune: Look like she confident enough to take me with just a sword. Well, let's do the same but with Zangetsu and not Proto Excalibur. I wanna test if she can force me to use Proto Excalibur or Bankai or even the hollow mask. But then again I don't give a fuck.

Kitsune equipped his sword, Zangetsu as Zangetsu appeared on his back and his clothes changes to the Shihakusho.

Zekken: Oh, you're the soul reaper, I've heard!! Would you would you prefer a ground-based or aerial fight?

Kitsune: I don't care... but how about ground?

Zekken: Okay. So jumping is fine, but no using your wings.

Zekken then sent Kitsune a duel request as a duel application appeared in front of him.

He read the Zekken or Yuuki player named before he glances down at the dual application and presses the O button, agreeing on the duel.

A Health Bar with Kitsune and Yuuki named appeared as the countdown started to count.
Kitsune and Yuuki then put their hand on their respective sword and unsheathed it from its scabbard and point at each other face.

Kirsune:...

Yuuki:...

The atmosphere is tense as both Kitsune and Yuuki ready to hit their opponent as soon as the timer hits zero.

Kitsune took a deep breath as Yuuki had a smile on her face.

As soon as the timer hit zero, Kitsune immediately rushed at Yuuki and charged
Sword Skill <<Quadraple Pain>>.

Kitsune thrust his sword at Yuuki but Yuuki easily parried and ducked the three attacks but the last attack about to hit Yuuki's armor plate but Yuuki manage to parried the last one by swinging her sword.

Yuuki then decides to counterattack as she charges her own Sword Skill and thrusts her sword at Kitsune but Kitsune also manages to parry her sword skills as the two of them currently exchanged attacks.

Kitsune: She's good.

As Kitsund continued to clash with Yuuki, Yuuki manages to parries one of his strikes and uses this chance to get the first blow of the dual, by slashing Kitsune's cheek surprising Kitsune's group.

Kitsune then flipped back to gain distance and when he landed on the ground, he looked at Yuuki as she just smiled at him.

Kitsune: She's skilled with her sword like me. But then....

Kitsune then closed his eyes and take a deep breath as he then puts his hand on his face.l and the hollow mask forms on his face.

Kitsune: how about you handle this!!

He charges towards her but backs away, ducks down charges her. She slams her sword but hits the ground. Both of them clashed their swords as speaks fly off.

Yuuki: woah!! You're faster!!

Kitsune: yeah!!

He swings upwards as Yuuki didn't react in time and she was damaged. Yuuki's eyes widen in surprise but she quickly overcomes it as she turned around facing Kitsune.

Yuuki: I guess you aren't playing around anymore. As expected of the number one player, Kitsune. Then, I shall give my all!

Both of them immediately rushed at each other and exchanged slashes of the sword creating a shockwave that makes everyone covers their faces from the impact.

Back at the audience, they were shocked and awestruck at Kitsune and Yuuki's power as they see the two of them trading blow while dodging each other attack.

Leafa: Amazing...

Sachi: Both of their speed and strength almost evenly matched!

Kitsune and Yuuki then continue to speed around the field, while continuing clashing and trading blows with each other. Neither wants to give up and loses as the two of them have a face that saying they want more.

Making the first move, Yuuki charge her
Sword Skills as her sword glowing purple in color. She then swings her sword horizontally at Kitsune but Kitsune quickly block it by using his sword and the impact of Yuuki's Sword Skill, creating a purple mist behind Kitsune at the people behind him.

Kitsune then spins his body and immediately charge a <<Stinger>> as his sword glowing blue in red.

He then dashes toward the Yuuki to deal a downward strike but Yuuki uses her sword and moves the attack as it hit the ground creating another mist but with blue color and the impact creating a shockwave.

The audience looked at the two with an awestruck look after the mist cleared and they can see Kitsune and Yuuki continue to clash swords with each other while running side by side.

Each time they swing their sword at each other, some of the swings hit part of their body lowering their HP but mostly Yuuki's HP.

Seeing her at disadvantage, Yuuki rushed at Kitsune and thrust her sword at him but Kitsine just dodges it by moving his head before the two of them locked the blade with each other.

As they try to push each other swords,
Kitsune kneed Yuuki on the guts, launching her a few meters from him as Kitsune sword glowing blue indicating he charging a sword attack

Kitsune: Try to parry this attack you filthy casual!!

Kitsune uses Sword Skill < < Million Stabs>> the most powerful sword skill in the one-handed sword category as he hit Yuuki with all unknown-hits of swing.

But to his and everyone's surprise, Yuuki manages to recover from Kitsune kneed attack and parry half of the Million Stab attack and the impact of the attack creates a smokescreen covering everyone view.

Kitsune: She parried half of Million Stabs.

He thought slightly impressed as Yuuki the only one that parried the attack that even Kirito can't block without using his Duel Wielding despite he being the third strongest person behind Kitsune and Asuna.

Kitsune then saw Yuuki's sword glowing purple color meaning she charges a Sword Skill but Kitsune knows this attack

Kitsune: her Original Sword Skill....gotta tank the hit.

Yuuki then thrust her sword at Kitsune releasing her Original Sword Skill at him as she released an 11-hit attack on Kitsune chest, creating a huge explosion and smoke.

When the smoke cleared, Yuuki and everyone else were completely shocked when they saw Kitsune quickly blocked Yuuki's last hit from hitting his chest at the last minute by moving Yuuki's sword on the ground.

Yuuki: H-How...?

Kitsine smirked as he let go of Yuuki's sword before he flipped back to gain distance from her.

Kitsune: It's not that hard but it's also not easy. Then, how about Round 2?

Yuuki just smirked, liking the idea as Kitsune unequipped his sword Zangetsu from his hand and equipping his Proto Excalibur on his right hand.

Back in the audience, they were shocked that Kitsune manages to block Yuuki's OSS that close.

Kirito: It's over for Zekken.

The rest of Kitsune group looked at Kirito confused except Sachi as she smiles knowing what Kirito's meant.

Silica: What do you mean, Kirito-san?

Sachi: He means that this duel is over and Kitsune will be the winner.

Kirito: That's right. When Kitsune drew his
Proto Excaliber, this fight is good as over.
Kitsune's skill with style of the weapons is on an entirely different level than mine. Kitsune has never lost a fight after he's started to Dual Wielding. But after-acquired Proto Excalibur, he practically Unbeatable. I don't know if I can win against him if I use Duel Wielding. *mumbles* He looks hot...

They looked at Kirito completely shocked before they focus back on the fight.

Asuna: Yeah. But I didn't think that Yuuki manages to push Kitsune that far to make him use it.

They nodded as they saw Kitsune rushed at Yuuki with his Proto Excaliber. Yuuki then struggles to block and defend as Kitsune was too fast for her that she couldn't find an opening.

Kitsune: This ends now!

Kitsune uses his Proto Excaliber Special
Sword Skill <<Air Thrust>> as wind surges around the sword. He then thrust his sword at Yuuki, creating a wind attack that forces Yuuki to defend herself but the attack broke her defend very easily, leaving her unguarded, wide open.

Kitsune uses the Skill Connect and decides to end the duel but suddenly Yuuki stood up with a smile on her face as she sheathed her sword.
Kitsune saw this as he was confused and immediately stop the attack, with his sword just inches away from her face.

Yuuki: That was tons of fun. Onii-san, I pick
you!

Kitsune: Huh? Am I a Pokemon or something from RPG's now? Anyway, what about the duel?

Yuuki: Fighting this much is enough for me.
Or Onii-san wanna keep going?

Kitsune: I mean if you're satisfied, then I don't see a reason to keep going.

Yuuki: I've been searching for just the right person, someone like you!

Kitsune then unequipped his Proto Excalibur and equip back his sword, Zangetsu as Yuuki then suddenly held out her hand to Kitsune for a handshake.

Kitsune grabbed her hand and suddenly
Yuuki activities her fairy wings and started to fly up with Kitsune. He starts to sweat and he looked back at the others who were confused and Yuuki then took Kitsune away.

Yui: Papa?!

Kirito: Hold on! Where do you think you are going with Kitsune!?

Silica: Give him back!!

Kirito: give back my boyfriend!!

Yuuki just continues to fly with Kitsune until they reach the high altitude of the sky while Yuuki still held Kitsune hand with hers.

Kitsune: taking me to your guild?

Yuuki: I will tell you later.

Yuuki then flew with Kitsune out of the new Aincrad and after a while, she stopped in the sky and Kitsune starts to fly. She turned around and looked at him.

Yuuki: Please! Help us!

Kitsune: yeah I get it-

????: Can you take me with you?

Kitsune and Yuuki turned around and look at the person and it was Asuna who has following them when Yuuki takes Kitsune with her.

Yuuki: Um, who are you?

Asuna: My name is Asuna. If you're going to take Kitsune, you're going to take me with you. Is that alright?

Yuuki looked at Kitsune as he smiles and nodded.

Kitsune: Sure. I can say that Asuna will help us a lot.

Yuuki: Alright. Follow me.
