Boruto didn't expect anything like this encounter so early. Although it was a bit of a conquince that he would bump into an familiar face at some point. 

Both of the Shinobi stare at each other's eyes for a long moment until the young adult said, "Master Jiraiya." 

Jiraiya seems to be amazed of how calm the young shinobi was , as he stroke his beard. 

"I am amaze of how calm you are, considering that we are staring at the mountain of the Great Hokages." He said. 

"Well, I am well, acquainted with the familiarity of the village. It just brings me memories , that's all." He said to his father's sensei. 

But the master shinobi seems to be at ease as he suspect there is a reason he is there in the past. 

"Tell me this. Are you from the future, aren't you?" He asks him, as Boruto gulps of how to explain or how to escape the conversation he intends to avoid. 

He never wanted anyone to know his true objections, but he knew that Master Jiraiya is the most honest person that his father could count on, whenever he had doubts about himself, and in some way, he is kind of a grandfather to him . 

He took a deep breath as he knew that once he speaks about the future, the dangers will he has to deal with later. 

"Yes. I am . But we met before, when I was younger. Don't you recall training Naruto and a boy to do a combine jitsu?" 

The shinobi thought about that encounter the young adult mentioned, then his eyes sparkled with pure awe as he realized of who the young mysterious shinobi was. 

"B-Boruto? Is that really you?" The shinobi asks the young adult as he smiled at him as to make his suspicion was correct. 

"You... You look..." He stutters as Boruto said, "Different? Well, I don't want to interfere with the timeline any further . " 

The man seems to understand of why he didn't said it earlier, but he seems to be in total awe of seeing the grown up version of Boruto for the first time since he last saw him with Sasuke.

"So, I take it that you don't want Naruto to know that you've come from the future, correct? It's going to be harder than it appears to be. " The sensei said, as the young shinobi chuckles at that statement of what he said. 

"I've been there. Trying to keep a major secret from him is not easy the first time. I'm just glad that he hasn't caught on . " 

Speaking in past tense made Boruto felt uneasy, that trying to save his own father from an unknown death in the future, is something nerve reacting. 

Jiraiya looks at the shinobi with a curious expression on his face, as he said, "Is something wrong, Boruto?"

Boruto sweats at him, "It's completely nothing to be concern about, Master Jiraiya. You really shouldn't tell anyone about my identity. " 

The Legendary Shinobi said, "You have my word, Boruto. It's just amazes me of seeing you as a adult though. It's going to be hard for me to adjust this ." 

"I know it's weird for you, and it's probably weird for me too. I mean, I thought I had enough time-travel for a day, but things are quite serious than I was last here, Master Jiraiya." 

The shinobi sees the intentness in his eyes as he knew that they were really serious , and had more understanding of being a shinobi.

"I may don't know why you came to this era, but if it involves for Naruto, I take it must be so urgent for you to come ." 

"Yes, it is. I can't give you the full details , like I've said before, but this mission is very critical to me and I must handle it ." Boruto replies in a serious tone.

Sarada was nervous , as she was still unsure of how things was going for Boruto's mission. 

"Oh, Boruto." She said, as the Hokage was sitting in her desk , as she thinking about the shinobi, she heard a knock coming through the door. 

She has to make a serious face, as she clears her throat, as she said, in a controlled matter, "Come in." 

To her ultimate surprise it was actually her sensei, Konohamaru Sarutobi.

"Sensei Konohamaru! My, it has been a while since the Hokage oritenation hasn't it?" She said. 

Konohamaru said, "I'm sorry that I wasn't there to see you in your oritenation, Sarada." 

She said, "Awe, don't worry about that. Besides , seeing you here is more delightful to see. So what brings you here?"

"Oh , right. I was told that Boruto came back to the village, am I right?" He asks. 

She nods, "Yeah, but if you're looking for him, he just left. " 

"Seriously?!? I wanted to see him so badly. Do you know when he would be back from his mission?" He asks. 

The Hokage sweats nervously of how to tell her former sensei that Bourto had travel through time to the past to possibly find out what happened to Naruto . 

"You're hiding something aren't you, Sarada?" Konohamaru asks as he looks at his former student. 

"It's completely nothing, Sensei Konohamaru! Really! I'm pretty sure you can ask anyone especially to my dad if I'm lying or not. " She said, putting her hands up. 

He seems to be skeptical of her at first as he leaves her from the office as she sighs of how Konohamaru didn't caught her in the act that she was covering for Boruto.

"Boruto really has his moments of getting into trouble, hasn't he, Sarada?" A voice said, as she turns to see her old teammate, Mitsuki.

"Ah! Geez, Mitsuki! You really have to stop appearing like that out of nowhere! Sometimes you really scare people that way." 

The snake ninja said, "I'm sorry that I scared you , Sarada. It's just the way I am ." 

She sweats, "Of course you always have a weird responses to anything , don't you?" 

He seems to be smiling at her as she said, "I know that Boruto was always a pain , even in the old days . 

Although , Mitsuki, this is very dangerous if he doesn't fulfill his mission he is on." 

He looks at her with a puzzling look on his face, "Are you saying you don't trust Bourto , after what we have done together in the past?" 

"Of course I trust him! He's the leader of the new Team 7! It's just I'm worried about his newest mission. " She admitted. 

Mitsuki smiled at his former teammate , as he knew how much she cared about their teammate's well-being. 

The snake Shinobi said, "If he really wanted your help, he would actually said it already. Besides.... there is something important that he wanted to prove himself. " 

The Hokage was silent for a moment as she was wondering of keeping Boruto's secret mission of time-travel is worth it. 

"Oh, Boruto. I really hope that you wouldn't do anything rash in this." She thought in her mind.
