11! goodbye location one, hello location two

"I can't believe we're leaving San Francisco tomorrow," Mila sighed, looking out of the window at the Golden Gate Bridge.

"Hey, don't be sad," Imogen put her hand on their shoulder. "We get to see the Golden Gate Bridge today!"

"I can see it right now," she sighed. "I appreciate your cheeriness though. I think I just need sugar. And maybe a shower."

"Well, if you want to shower this morning, I'd do it soon," Ginny advised. "Thy and Lou will be back from their run soon, and I'm sure they'll want to use both this shower and the one in their hotel room next door."

"Thy went for a run?" Aster raised her eyebrows.

"He asked me if I wanted to run with him at five am this morning," Carlos grimaced. "I don't want to be awake at five am, let alone running."

"Where did you come from?" Mila spoke to Carlos, frowning. "I mean, hi, it's good to see you." They smiled sleepily, pulling Carlos into a hug.

He stifled a laugh. "Good morning, little one."

"Seriously though, why are you here?"

"I don't want to pay the price of the mini fridge refreshments, so I'm taking yours."

'Nice!" Ginny admired his masterplan. "However, now that you've told us, we will be charging you for it."

"Awh, shit."

Ginny smiled slightly at his remark. "Come on, everybody. We should start getting up ahead of our final trip in San Francisco."

"I guess that's it," Aster sighed, pulling her suitcase along as they walked to the Travel Huggers Hub to check-out. "It's a shame, really. I liked San Francisco."

"Ah well," Thy shrugged. "Onto the next place!"

Aster laughed to herself. She didn't understand where Thy had got this energy from.

"I only just adjusted to this time zone," Ginny groaned.

"You'll have plenty of time to sleep on the plane," Aster linked arms with Thy, and he beamed.

"You can sleep on planes?" Imogen exclaimed.

"Oh, oui," he nodded solemnly. "I sleep like a rock."

Aster stifled a laugh. "Oh, this is the hub. Look, the others are already outside."

"HII!" Mila waved. They were piggybacking on top of Carlos's shoulders, Gi on Lou's shoulders behind. (They had raced down like a couple of immature toddlers.)

Frankie was stood next to them, holding a clipboard and grinning widely. "Howdy, travellers! Let's head on inside."

The group followed her, dismounting from the piggyback race.

She signalled to Riley that she was taking their meeting room and marched through the door, sitting at the head of the table. "Take a seat, take a seat!"

Thy pulled out a seat for Aster.

Once they were all seated, Frankie placed her hands on the table. "So. How are we feeling?"

"Good," They chorused awkwardly.

"We've made friends? Settled in? Tell me what's happened!"

"Well, we got to look around San Francisco, see some of the stuff you recommended, and it was pretty chill overall," Carlos shrugged.

Frankie laughed, seeming relieved. "Well, I'm certain this will be your last 'chill' adventure, travel huggers. At least nothing bad happened to you while you were in my care! Should we talk plans for your next location?"

"Where is that, exactly?" Thy asked sheepishly. "I may have zoned out during the presentation."

"Not to worry!" Frankie said cheerily. "It's St Lucia! It looks like your plane sets off in... three hours!"

The others murmured in agreement.

"When you get there, Marie will be your guide at the Travel Huggers Hub in Vieux Fort. She'll show you these booklets too, but it can't help to be prepared."

Frankie passed around some shiny leaflets with teenagers grinning at various attractions in St Lucia plastered all over the front. "Something to look at on the plane."

She paused as they took it all in, Giani and Lou exchanging a look as they saw right through the fakeness of the front cover.

"Do you have any last questions for me?" Frankie asked eagerly. "No? Well then, please sign here to check out!"

She passed the clipboard around.

"God, I can't believe we're actually leaving," Giani sighed, the last to squiggle a signature.

"But the next place is within touching distance," Carlos reminded her.

"Yeah, if touching distance is an eleven-hour flight."

A/N

HI.

It has been FOREVER since I updated this (around two and a half months to be exact) but I'm here with this short chapter and my apologies! I hope you enjoy this and I'll be back soon with a new chapter, though I have an important exam in two weeks so it might be before then (because exam stress gives me writing motivation for no apparent reason) but it will most likely be after.

I also have a new apply fic called Hogwarts Mystery which is up now, it's a Harry Potter apply fic about the characters from the Hogwarts Mystery app (Tonks and her friends) but you don't have to have the app or have an awareness of the HP universe to apply! I'd love it if you could check it out!

Oh also in my new apply fic my mutuals (you guys) get perks (you can reserve love interests and quests). Hope to see you there soon!

Love, Im <33
