So IDEK what's gotten into me but I just kinda had the idea of drawing a new character I want to put into Haikyuu!! as a first year. When Hinata and the rest become second-years, at the very least. I was just putting this on lame paper ( as you can see in the picture ) because my intention was plainly to make a foolish sketch but then I ended up highlighting it and stuff.

Everytime. EVERYTIME.

I used gel pen to highlight the main frame, though. And as you can see, based on the uniform color, he belongs to Karasuno.

Since I don't have art stuff and I am very resourceful... *cough* *cough* I used a variety of writing tools in coloring this thing. In the hair, I outlined it with a random colored pen which I managed to fish out of my sister's school bag while she was sleeping. No, I'm not a thief, just a robber ( what ). The entirety was roughly shaded by a brown pencil which broke midway but then I was too lazy to go look for a sharpener. So I ended up using my finger to press the lead against the paper.

See? I surely am resourceful. *dies*

In that weird cluster of green worms -- hair, sorry -- which lies on his bangs, I originally shaded it with a blue pencil, but then I was starting to see that the sky-ish hue didn't blend well with the brown, and that green always had been my number one choice when it came to matching chocolate with another color. So, being the smart ( *mental disorder intensifies* ) person I am, I grabbed a green note highlighter from the treasure chest on the second layer of the left shelf and did what you think I did.

Simple. Overlap. Done. Nothing more. No pressure.

I moved to the eyes and then made a dumb mistake. No, just kidding. I was just adding that for suspense if anyone ever cares for suspense, in this case. So... the gel pen which I used to highlight the drawing was what I had used for the shadow under the chin, the ears and at the back of the collar, plus the stripes that went down in the orange of the uniform. Yeah, the collar, too, was completed thanks to another note highlighter. Hurray for note highlighters.

Lastly, the best part, the rest of the uniform, the main body, the shoulder part ( which is the only visible area in this dumb 'artwork' )... guess what? Oh, you guessed? Of course you have. If you're as resourceful as me, you would also have used it. In case your brain can be compared to that of a dinosaur's ( because bruh, they were pea-sized ), I'll give you a hint... but no. Even a two-year old could have guessed. Why am I even holding a quiz for this?

Anyways, I used marker just like you have suspected. See? I can utilise everything around me ( ok i hope you have picked up on everything sarcastic here bcause if not ur probably already dead ). And because my vision is shit, the strokes evidently got past the borderline which should have told me where to stop making lines. Raise your hand if you suck at coloring just like this 'hella trash' here.

I did base the style of the art on Haikyuu!!'s kind of drawing and I hope this guy wouldn't look like an extremely out-of-place species when put into the court. Like having Attack on Titan and Dora the Explorer do a collaboration ( with this 'OC' being a character from Dora of course ).

So enough with the chitty-chatty tutorial-y essay from your trash truly and let's move on to the 'information'. I honestly don't even know why I'm doing this but it's probably because I'm hoping someone from the anime industry will notice this and then send it to the creator and then, and then -- there goes my delusional demeanor. Agh, the agonies of being an entity with so much room for imagination but none for memorization of class lessons.

Age: Because I want him to be oh-so-different, he would be 15 upon entering first year of highschool amidst 16-year-olds. There's nothing wrong with that in other schools, is there? Because in this country I live in, it isn't. IDK about the others.

Birthday: Hmmm... why is this even here? But because I can't think of anything else, I'll use my own. Here, be a December baby that was born on 24.

Height: Oh, the most important element to the anime which might even be more important than the plot itself ( lol not meaning to be rude 'ere ), height. *remembers my height* gods be damned, I'm still too short for this world *cries* wHy Am I aSiAnNn

Specializes in: Nothing, in particular. He'd just be one of those extras who isn't an all-too-flashy character at first because he can't set better than ou-sama, can't spike better than Asahi ( not u Hinata ), can't block better than Tsukishima, can't recieve better than Nishinoya and of course, can not serve better than Yamaguchi ( ily ).

Regular or nay?: Hahaha, ofc not. Like I said, he's not better at anything than anyone else. He just learns fast, that's all.

And gets a little more addition to his image when he temporarily replaces an injured Tanaka ( dream on ).

Number: 13, probably.

Family: Alive. LOL, JK. He has a mother, a father, a brother a sister. Yay, complete family. Though his father left with the eldest ( the brother ) because serious issues but he doesn't know because he was still three when it happened.

Gets along with: The coach. No more, no less. Just the coach, not even Takeda-sensei.

Friends: His mother, his sister, the coach. And probably Iwaizumi later on ( didn't expect that did ya ).

His opinions on his teammates: ( so sad he didn't meet the third years, im serious )

Hinata

- too much energy
- might burn you if you stay near him too long because he's literally the sun
- too much excitement it hurts
- too innocent for this world to get along with

Kageyama

- grumpy, blue flying fish
- tosses are too accurate that it makes him wonder if this king got his body augmented by aliens
- also rlly innocent and made the idiom "killer smile" lose its property of being an idiom
- creepy af he doesn't even know why

Tsukishima

- he's a tsundere and this OC hates tsunderes so yeah
- reminds him of his elementary school math teacher
- why is he even blonde that's weird af
- has brother issues so gtf away from me

Yamaguchi

- he'd probably get along with him if not for "Tsukki"
- nice serve
- low self-esteem, too humble and fails to see his greatness
- Shinya wonders how he puts up with "Tsukki" seeing them everyday

Tanaka

- is he descended from a family of monks or somethin
- why does he love bananas that much
- why does he remove his shirt often
- great volleyball player tho

Nishinoya

- how does he even recieve like that
- and keep his hair up like that
- he's too noisy
- makes him laugh when Noya wants everyone to call him 'senpai' because his height

Ennoshita

- why does he look like Shinya's science teacher
- is probably kind enough to compliment the dean's wig
- his story about quitting and going back inspired everyone, didn't it
- he is very much underrated

Narita

- a nicer version of Tanaka
- a less-wild one at that
- is probably also telling the dean how nice he looks without his wig and getting away with it
- barely gets any attention

Kinoshita

- i didn't know his name until Ennoshita called out to him
- nothing much to say because Shinya doesn't know him lol

Coach Ukai Keishin

- pls stop smoking ur going to get lung cancer if you keep that up and no, i don't want that to happen
- that's not your natural hair color, is it
- good coach
- coach are you single because ur old you should get a wife or somethin

Takeda-sensei

- he's literally an older version of the guy with freckles
- he has so much pride that he doesn't lose all of it from begging
- is he a poet
- or a scriptwriter for dramatic stuff

Yachi

- what makes her so anxious
- why does she think that serves can rip arms off
- why is she so innocent like Hinata
- does she want to become a designer or somethin

Overall opinion on the team:

- this is so messed-up
- every kind of person is here, it's like a zoo
- why do they scream when they get a point ( save for the salt queen )
- why is everyone so excited ( again, except the salt queen )
- why do they want practice matches because hell, practice matches are death's pawns
- good team tho

Personality ( & other stuff actually ):

- friendship comes in three ways:
1. Sarcasm
2. Insults
3. Laughing and mental disorder everywhere
- smart i guess ( he goes to class 5 hahaha because why not )
- talks to everyone but just doesn't get along with them
- supernatural freak
- doesn't eat carrots and oranges because he feels creeped-out ( bcuz hinata )

- fools around but can be quite serious when needed
- pessimistic little shit but you'll love him ( i think )
- wants to learn how to speak Italian because Italy is fabulous
- sings in the shower ( and is actually pretty good at it )

- loves volleyball as much as Hinata but just doesn't get that hyped up
- occasionally says "yeeeh" in matches when he scores a point

How I managed to make something this complex is a mystery tho but I'm sure you can figure it out soon if you even bother. LOLOLOL.

Anyways, please bless the poorly-drawn "OC" and IDK if I'll be writing a damned fanfiction about him soon, but probably not because it's trash but then again, I might. AhHh, just nvm. Let time decide.
