Yeah I'm sick and depressed and art blocked so- have this shit

These are from my last two sketchboxes. The first one was done with oil pastels and I didn't like the paper. It was like canvas and I just did think it was great for the pastels as the bumps got random spots of saturated pigment. I think the shading was nice at least. The second was water color pencils and this wonderful brush pen they gave me. I actually in love with it- I like this one but it was hard for me to press light so I wouldn't have pencil texture. That's just me going over it sorry for this ramble

This was a project for school and it was based off the poem Hollow Men. It's a gorgeous poem! It might be my favorite thing we've read this year. It's been super fun to analyze and I'm proud of this piece! Here's the edited version done by my friend.
