8A/n: Thank you IronDragon19 for giving me an idea on what my next chapter was going to be.

Y/n POV

The armor I had on was actually not that heavy at all, it was strangely light instead of being very heavy. Cortana also gave me an injection of something blue? I didn't even ask her what it was and just let it happen. The weird and scary part was it was injected into my eye or probably when my body began to slowly change.

Now I look buff as hell.

Cortana: "Ok now let's begin"

I listened as Cortana was telling me how my suit works, I already had suit on, I just didn't had my helmet on so that I could hear Cortana speak.

Cortana: "Now move your left arm up for movement then raiseyourother arm"

I did what she asked and I lifted my left arm up. After a few seconds I then put it down and raise my right arm then I put it back down.

Cortana: "Good, now hold still and allow me to put on your helmet" She said.

I nod, she began to move the brokkr mechanism to attach the armor on.

Cortana: "Can you hear me Y/n?" She asked.

Y/n: "Yes"

Cortana: "Good, now let's begin with the next test, go grab a weapon"

Y/n: "Where?". I asked.

I was confused, I didn't see any weapons.

She then turns on points to the other side of the room, there was a crate holding weapons, also with grenade's and ammo. There were only five weapons and they were all the same one.

I walk over and grab an assault rifle then grab some a magazine and then loaded the gun.

Cortana: "Now go to the shooting range" she said points to the range by the door.

I walk to the door, opening it then head inside over to the shooting range.

It was quite big inside with enough space to fit a lease 15 people to shoot in for target practices.

The targets were at least a few feet away from me and that was good enough for me.

Cortana: "Now go ahead and start shooting your target" she said.

I smirk inside my helmet before bringing my weapon up then aiming it's at the target. Aiming it, until I have it at the right angle, when it was I had my finger against the trigger, ready to fire at the target.

Y/n: "let's do this..."

I began to shoot at the target, not missing any shoots.

TimeSkip

After an hour of shooting, Cortana  and I went outside to try out a few more tests on my suit and my new abilities. Turns out that when I have the suit on, I am more stronger than my normal amount of strength.

My speed will increase with also my stamina but all that aside was just all I needed to know on how awesome my suit is!

I never felt so strong in my life and now I am even more stronger than I was before. Not only body was more stronger, but my abilities were more improved, and now I'm more skilled than I was before.

Y/n: "So how long have you been down there for?" I asked.

Cortana was inside my helmet where I be able to speak to her when needed and if I want to ask her anything.  Plus it gives me someone to talk to instead of talking to myself.

Cortana: "7 years, but to me it feels I been down there for eternity" she said.

Y/n: "Wow, That sounds like forever if you ask me" I replied.

Cortana: "You are not wrong about that, but it did feel like I wasn't going to ever see the light again."

I felt so sad for her.

Our pasts weren't that much different from each other's. We both have lost someone very close to us because of Quaritch who thought that he can get away with everything.

Me and Cortana had a lot more in common then we thought.

Y/n: "but I feel sorry for you, that you were still stuck down there all alone" I said.

Cortana: "Thank you"

Y/n: "Anytime"

We kept talking to each other as I walked further into the forest. It was a long walk from the base, but come to think of it, it kinda feels great to be able to wear protection out here in the forest, rather than being defenseless with no protection or without any weapons.

Y/n: "I'm sorry for what Quaritch did to you, but you will never have to be alone ever again"

Cortana: "Thank you again Y/n"

She smiles inside of the helmet. Now she knows that she wouldn't have to suffer from loneliness anymore.

She now has someone that she can be with than not be with anyone at all.

Y/n: "As long as I am here, nothing will ever happen to you"

Cortana: " Thank you chief...

I pause myself for movement.

Y/n's mind: did she just chief?

Cortana: "Umm Y/n?"

I snapped out of my thoughts, realizing she called out to me.

Y/n: "Oh I'm sorry!"

She gives me this look.

Cortana: "Are you sure?"

Y/n: "Yes I-I'm just surprised by you giving me a nickname already"

Cortana: "Oh I'm sorry maybe I shoul-

Y/n: "NO no no it's ok I actually like it"

Cortana: "Oh ok, then I guess I call you master chief when out here then"

Y/n: "Mmmmm Master Chief I like it"

We continue on with our training test.

Third person pov

As Y/n contains on throughout the forest. Somewhere high above in the trees were two figures who were hidden. The two figures were  watching as the spartan walks through the forest while they follow close behind him.

They try to avoid being caught by not getting to close. As the spartan moves further, they follow him quietly.

???: "bro what is that?

???: "I don't know bro? Maybe it's a human?

???: "I don't think so bro, have you ever seen a human covered with green metal?"

They both look at each other for a moment before giving each other a nod.

One of them ames and arrow at the walking spartan.

Ready to fire...

Y/n's POV

The walk went for a few more hours before we decided it was time to head back. It would take a few more minutes to get back to the basecamp so I might as well enjoy the walk.

It has been a few minutes since Cortana and I have stop talking about our pasts and more about moving forward. 

We talked about some other things that were about Grace and how she created Cortana to be the first smartest A.I on Pandora.

I'm probably a few steps behind her, I might be the second smartest person on Pandora, as I see myself as the smarter person.

What can I say? I learned a lot over years being here. I used a lot of my knowledge to help me survive.

But I learned how to protect myself from sister.

She's the real reason why how I survive for so long...

Y/n: "hey Cortana"

I called out to her and she appears on the side of my visor.

Cortana: "Yea Chief?"

Y/n: "have you ev-

CRACK!

Something just snapped behind us. Whatever it was, it was closer by.

Y/n: Were not alone....

We were being watched.

Y/n: *quiet* Cortana quickly scan with in 5 meters.

Cortana: "Yes chief scans in action"

Not moving a muscle as to not alert the enemy without me noticing. I guess that one of the good things about this armor they can't see into the visor.

Cortana: "Chief I got two enemies nearby"

Looking at the scanner there were 2 dots approaching from behind.

Pov Lo'ak

He let his guard down. This was the perfect moment, quickly grabbing a arrow, I pulled the bow back,

Lo'ak: Die

The arrow went flying at him. It was a perfect shot it would hit him in his chest. Except it didn't instead it bounced off of his chest leaving a weird yellow light surrounding him.

He just look down at the arrow and back up and wipe his shoulder, as if nothing happened.

Jumping back I fired a couple more and the same thing happened. My brother came next to me.

Neteyam: Lo'ak we need to leave, we can't hurt him like this

Look at him with a pissed off look at how ridiculous of idea that is. To  leave a fight of course the perfect son would.

Lo'ak: No we need to fight him. Let's go we can do it together!

Walking towards the enemy. Expect I get lift by Neteyam grabbing my body.

Neteyam: Sorry baby brother but we need to tell dad about this!

He began to run with me. That didn't stop me from firing more arrows at him but he just stood there.

Y/n: "Well that just happened"

He walks away and continues his way back out.

Time Skip

Jake: So let me get this right you saw a green armor person shaped out in the forest?

Lo'ak: It was definitely a person dad. We need to go back and fight him.

Jake: Lo'ak not another word from you. I told you not to go out without my permission and you'd go do that anyway.

Neteyam: Hold on father there was something else about him. We shot arrows at his body except it did nothing to him. They just bounced off him like it was nothing.

Neytiri: that can't be can it Jake?

She looks at her husband with a shock look on her face. He didn't even look at her or even respond to her.

Jake: Get Neylei, We need to have a word with her about her human friend...
