Third Person POV

Y/n exit the tent without his armor and stretches before Jake realizes he's not wearing it.

Jake: "You mean to tell me you can remove your armor that easily?"

Y/n: "Yeah, cortana or I can do it quickly. Besides, I can't keep it on all day. I sweat a lot if I stay out in the sun for too long. Plus it can be uncomfortable sometimes. Uh, Neylei, are you okay?"

Both Jake and Y/n look over to see Neylei staring. Once she realized that she was staring she quickly looked away from him.

Neylei: "Uh, yes, I um, i am. Is it getting hot here?"

Neylei blushes when she sees Y/n abs are ripped. She tries her best to not get caught staring at Y/n again, even since he had became a Spartan, couldn't help but stare at him sometimes, and that her eyes wander down his body.

Neylei's mind: "My Eywa! He's so freaking hot! What am I saying? He's just my friend! I need to leave before they expect something from me!"

The young girl quickly pulls herself together and walks out of the hut quickly without making eye contact with the two men. Two men watch as she leaves and they are both left very confused. Both men look at each other with a very confused look in each other's eyes.

Y/n: "What just happened?"

Jake: "I have no idea kid."

Y/n POV

That was very strange, I never had seen her act that way, I was wondering why she was staring at me, and why she was acting so strange towards me.

Y/n: "That was very weird."

Jake: "I can say the same thing as you chief."

We both didn't understand what just happened so we decided to just let it go for now. I started to head out to go train and learn the ways of the Metkayina.

Jake: "She likes you."

Quickly I stopped at the entrance of hut and slowly turned around to face Jake to ask him what he just said a second ago.

Y/n: "What?"

Jake: "I think she likes you."

Y/n: "What are you on about?"

Jake: "is it obvious? She definitely likes you Y/n."

I was shocked to hear him say that but he probably wasn't wrong. Neylei and I are close but did she really like me in that way. We may be close but we're not that close, we have known each other for a few months now, and I'm not sure if we're ready for that relationship yet.

Y/n: "I'm not sure man..."

Jake: "What do you mean?"

Y/n: "I mean I'm not sure about they starting a relationship with someone especially Neylei."

Jake: (Sighs) "look kid, you won't know about it unless you try, I honestly think you guys would make a great couple, no matter if you're human or Na'vi you'll be perfect no matter what."

I couldn't believe what he just said. That was the nicest thing that he ever said to me. I haven't opened up my heart to anyone ever since the loss of my sister. But Neylei wasn't my sister, she was my one and only friend, and she's been there for me ever since she found me alone. Maybe I should give it a try but I would need to think about it a little bit more. I need to see if I have feelings for Neylei just to be sure.

Y/n: "Okay, but I need to think about this."

Jake: "Take as much time as you need."

Y/n: "Thanks."

After that I walked out of the hut and went to find the others. So that we could start training and learning the ways of the Metkayina. After a minute of walking I found them already in the water swimming except for Neylei, she was watching them from a distance, I walked over to her and she noticed me.

Once I was right next to her I sat down next to her.

Y/n: "Have they already started?"

She nods and turns her attention back to kids training with the Metkayina kids. I did the same and began watching and observing them.

Third Person POV

Both the Na'vi girl and the Spartan watched as the Sully kids trained with the Metkayina. They were also training but by watching and observing. They had a few reasons on why they did train with the Sully kids. Mainly it was because of not wanting to cause any trouble with Ronal's children or her and her mate Tonowari.

Especially the spartan, he did not want any trouble with anyone, even if it's the chief's children. He still does not want any problems with anyone. All he wants to be is on good terms for right now.

The two were learning the way of the water by watching and observing. They sat on the sand watching them only a few meters away. They both laughed a little bit from Lo'ak falling off his Ilu and when he we emerges from underwater creature splashes water in his face.

But they both stop laughing after noticing the chief's son Aonung and his friends were laughing at Lo'ak from letting go of his strap on his Ilu. The two were starting not to like Aonung already, mainly Y/n because of the way Aonung acts around the Sully kids, and it's also because of how high and mighty he acts around them.

Y/n POV

Watching Jake's kids train was actually pretty entertaining and very interesting. I really was starting not to like that Aonung guy. Especially his attitude towards Jake and Neytiri's kids because they had human blood in them. Even Neylei didn't really like him at all and for the same reason as me but we both had reasons why we didn't like him. We did have similarities to why we didn't like him mainly because how immature he acts.

As we were watching them swim we didn't notice the daughter of the chief approached us.

Tsireya: "What are you two doing?"

Neylei: "Were learning the ways of the water."

Tsireya: "How?"

Y/n: "We're training by watching and serving."

The girl looks confused on why we're probably doing this and who could blame her. We just didn't want to get away.

Tsireya: "Why don't you join us."

Neylei: "Are you sure? We don't want to get in the way."

Tsireya: "It's fine come join us."

Neylei and I share the gaze for a moment before nodding to each other. There was no use in backing out we decided to just join her in the others and just train with them.

Y/n: "Might as well give it a try."

Neylei: "Right..."

We got up and followed her towards the others.

TIMESKIP

The scene shows Aonung clicking his tongue calling for something. Y/n was by Neylei, Neteyam and Lo'ak then Y/n sees some of the sea life approaching them.

Aonung: "Those are ilu's. If you want to live here you have to ride."

Y/n looks around and then he saw Lo'ak go on a ilu. He stuck his head underwater and saw Lo'ak holding on to dear life before falling off the ilu again, Y/n couldn't help but laugh.

Aonung: "What are you laughing at demon boy? You can't even make a connection."

The spartan did not like the way he just spoke to him but did his best to ignore him and prove him wrong.

Y/n: "Hey, nothing's impossible if you don't try it first, so I'm gonna give it a try so get me a ilu."

Tsireya nodded and she brought over a ilu and helped Y/n climb on.

Tsireya: "How are you able to ride without making the bond?"

Y/n: "I don't know but hey let's see if I can try."

Y/n started gently petting the ilu, telling it he was friendly. The Ilu seems to like what he was doing to it and make the cute sound

Y/n: "Okay I'm ready."

Tsireya: "Hold here."

Y/n hold on to the reins.

Neteyam: "You got this bro."

Lo'ak: "Yeah, show them!"

Neylei: "Go Y/n!"

Y/n took a deep breath and he started going fast with the liu goes underwater. Y/n holds on tightly making sure not to be thrown off he started getting the hang of it and then he swims back to the group and goes to the surface and making the liu splashes Aonung in the face making everyone laugh.

The Spartan turns his attention to Aonung who looks very annoyed.

Y/n: "I told you nothing's impossible."

Neylei: "And he just proved you wrong."

Timeskip

The scene shows Y/n and Neylei in a circle with Tsireya, Kiri, Lo'ak, Neteyam, and Rotxo as they were learning how to breathe.

Tsireya: "Breathe in."

Tsireya took a deep breath as everyone followed along.

Tsireya: "And breathe out."

Everyone breathes out.

Tsireya: "Imagine flickering a flame, you must slow down your heartbeat."

Tsireya placed her hands on Y/n chest making him blush a little but Tsireya also blush a little when she feels his muscular chest.

Tsireya: "Slowly breathe in."

Slowly Y/n took a deep breath.

Tsireya: "Breathe from down here and breathe out slowly."

Y/n did what she said and breathe out slowly.

Tsireya: "Y/n your heartbeat is fast try to focus."

Y/n: "Okay..."

Y/n continued, then he sees Neteyam, Lo'ak, and Rotxo laughing. He gave them a look then he saw Neylei who had a jealous look on her face. It was clear that she did not like Tsireya touching her friend.

The scene shows everyone on ilu's and they were swimming around having fun and they swim to the surface. Y/n shakes his head as water flys off his head.

Y/n: "Man this is fun!"

Tsireya: "You both are learning to breathe."

Both Y/n and Neylei share the look before smiling at each other.

Y/n&Neylei: "Thanks."

TIMESKIP

The scene shows Y/n with Tsireya sitting down on a rock. Tsireya was now testing him to see if he had mastered to hold his breath. He was taking deep breath and he was learning the way of water.

Tsireya: "The way of water has no beginning and no end."

The scene shows of Y/n and Tsireya in the water and she throws a seashell in the water as it started to sink.

Tsireya: "The sea is around you and in you."

Y/n started taking a deep breath and he goes underwater and started swimming down following the seashell.

Tsireya: "The sea is your home before your birth and after your death. Our hearts beat in the womb of the world, our breath burns in the shadows of the deep. The sea gives and the sea takes, water connects all things life to death darkness to light."

Y/n caught the seashell and he looked up and saw how deep he was down underwater. He saw up top was the sunlight and the silhouette of Tsireya and he started swimming to the surface and made it up showing Tsireya the seashell in his hand.

Y/n: "I got it.l!

Tsireya: "You did it."

The scene of Kiri, Tsireya, and Tuk together underwater. Tsireya grab a jelly like creature and attached it to Tuk back.

Tsireya: "It gives breath underwater"

Roanl was grabbing some seashells and she saw Kiri controlling little tiny glowing fish as she hide behind a piece of coral. Then she noticed something she saw Y/n and Neylei is swimming with other sea creatures that were surrounding them.

Ronal: (thoughts) "You are a interesting one human."

She kept watching the Na'vi girl and the Spartan swimming with the kids and with the sea creatures.
