Did Marinette survive the power failure?  This is the question on the minds of Chloe, Adrien, and  Max.  Before they can check to see if the generator has restored the electricity to the computer or not the power comes back on in the building.  

    "The lights are back on now," Max says.

     "Yes, we can see this for ourselves,"  Chloe retorts.

     "What about Marinette?  Did she make it?" Adrien asks.

        "Well, Max?"  Chloe asks.

        "I do not know,"  Max says.

         "Max, she better still be alive.'  Adrien says angrily.

            "I can not see my life without her when she is my best friend." Adrien panics again.

            "Great, just great Max, now see what you did?"  Chloe states.

      The computer screen is back on where the others can see the water droplets' background once again.   

    Chloe sobs, "I can not see, Marinette."

     "No, Marinette...Marinette!" Adrien screams.

     "Max this is all your fault," Adrien says angrily and leaves.

       "Max, you better bring her back, got it?" Chloe says and leaves. 

       After  Chole and Adrien left, Max stepped closer to his computer.  

   "Marinette please say, something, anything,"  Max says.  He panics when he gets no answer from her.

    "Max, what is the matter?"  Marinette asks.

     "Did something happen?"  She asks.

      "It is a relief to hear you made it through the power failure,"  Max replies.

     "Yes, I sure did. Thanks to the generator the computer was able to turn back on and the game was saved right where I left off."  Marinette says.

       "How do you beat the level?" Marinette says.

      "You have to think of something, sad, then you will move onto level 7,"   Max tells her.

        Marinette thinks about how her father died recently and begins to cry.  

    The computer makes a beep, beep, beep noise to show approval of her tears.  Level 7 is in progress, you may begin.

     "Whoa, I have to catch ten fireflies to beat this level," Marinette says about the level she finds herself on now.

     Max says,  "Marinette I never beaten level four on this game.  You are on level seven, this is amazing."  

      "Good job, cousin,"  Max tells her.

          Adrien is his room at his house and feels sad. He mutters, "Marinette," under his breath. He thinks she died during the power outage.

         "Adrien, cheer up. I am sure she is just fine and..."  Chloe says.

         "You saw the blank screen as I did. She is gone, and I lost my best friend forever." Adrien says.

          Chloe answers the phone when she hears it ring.  "Hello, who is this?" Chloe asks.

        *Max on the other end of the phone...Tell Adrien, Marinette is alright. She made it to level 7.

         "Sure thing, Max.   I will be sure to let him know. Bye!" Chloe says. She hangs up.

      "Adrien, Max just called. He said Marinette made it to level seven in the game." Chloe says.

       "She made it?"  Adrien asks.

        "Yes, that is what I just said,"  Chloe replies.

       " I am glad she is alive," Adrien says.

      "I have to see her, bye!" Adrien says. Then, he leaves.

     Adrien arrives at Max's place excited. He knocks on the door and rings the doorbell.

      Max looks through the peephole, and opens the door.  

  "Adrien, Marinette will be glad to see you," Max says.

   Adrien walks toward the computer.  "Marinette, Marinette?"  Adrien says.

     "Hi, Adrien. I am on the bat level now."  Marinette says.

      "Yes, I can see the bats in the background,"  Adrien remarks.

     "What were you about to tell me before the power went out?"  Adrien asks.

       "You are cute," Marinette says. She does not know what she just said since she is still inside the game.

      "Marinette are you okay?"  Adrien asks. He blushes.

       "Adrien if I do not survive, I want you to know your the best friend I could ever have,"  Marinette says. She passes out in the game for the second time.

      "Marinette, no you can not leave me," Adrien says.

        "Marinette!'' Adrien says before he passes out too.           

     Max sees Adrien unconscious on the floor near the computer. He calls for help, "Yes, send help now, Adrien has passed out."
